That problem gets fixed with the Perfect Effect hands and feet. It corrects the horrible Hasbro proportions with tall boots and smaller normal sized hands. I keep all the stupid kangaroo boxing gloves in a shoebox.

Or maybe buy some Rooks to put them on.
But in all seriousness, those PE feet are a huge improvement. Glad I bought 'em.

I was actually thinking that the other day. Remember Powercore Combiners? Remember how people here were losing their minds over the asymmetrical, jumbled nature of the combined modes? Some of the Combiner Wars configurations don't really do much better in terms of symmetry.

Fun fact: thanks to Rook's 5mm peg mounted on his vehicle mode roof, a pair of Rooks can be used as rollerskates for any combiner.

I like the stock hands and feet. I've seen plenty of reviews of PE sets and the hands are awful. The feet look great but a lot have said they're loose. The hands don't look like hands. They look like the skeletal structure for hands on these giant dudes.

Works with Swindle too, as I just tried it. Unfortunately, it is very loose, and I didn't have a good camera on me to take pictures.

Maybe, maybe, maybe if they ever do the Technobots to go with Scattorshot, we'll see a retooled Groove as Afterburner. If not that, maybe as an online exclusive along with shuttle-mode Blast Off, but I definitely wouldn't count on it.

Though the original reveal of them stated that they would be released in smaller retailers. Though they weren't listed or said to even be online exclusives, and were said to release in that may special week which did happen.

Well there are a bunch of g1'ers griping for it. I bet they'll (bigroove and blast-off) be released next year. (Would be cool if the blast-off was repainted into the mini-con rocket from armada...)

You know, I'm really not liking how this "G1'er" term is being thrown around in such a derogatory manner lately.
Why is it so wrong to prefer G1? What gives others the rights to mock and ridicule another member of this fandom because of their like for one particular generation?

The term "Geewunner" in its proper context is not supposed to refer to those who simply prefer G1. It's meant to refer to those who prefer G1 above all else to the extreme extent of shunning all non-G1 series.Burn wrote:Hellscream9999 wrote:Yup, everyone wants one to scalp to the G1'er crowd

To a true "Geewunner", things like G2, BW, BM, RID (either one), Armada, Energon, Cybertron, the Movies, Animated, Prime, Rescue Bots, etc. are abominations or pale imitations of "the one TRUE Transformers series" that is G1 and don't deserve any of the same love and attention that only G1 should ever get.
So it's not a term that's meant to refer to just G1 fans in general, but more to a specific minority that devoutly cares only for G1 and fully abhors everything else.

I dunno, probably the same thing that allows them to crap on absolutely everything that's not some 3p, uber-G1-accurate, extravagance. Seriously, there's so much crap being slung towards hasbro - and even TT - and everything they do, that those of us that would like something that isn't G1, can't even get an opinion past without being direct.
Seriously, it's everywhere, what about all the rest of us, that want updated figures from our childhood? Haven't we glorified G1 enough? Even now, when you're getting all the combiners, and headmasters, and targetmasters, and titans - on top of everything else the generations line has yielded, it still isn't good enough! Maybe people want an amazing bw megs, or a poseable armada prime super mode, or another chance at rid super god convoy...

In my short time here I've never encountered anyone who completely exemplifies this definition. I've seen folks who I suspected to be as such, scramble up their combiners, embrace RID15 for it's good merits, and fully except Rook,Off Road, and Alpha B into their hearts. Who are we talking about? 84Forever? Does he even post here anymore? We have folks who lean hard on G1, but no one so staunch. Granted we're not the entire fandom, but I wouldn't know. I only hang out here.Sabrblade wrote:... a specific minority that devoutly cares only for G1 and fully abhors everything else.
The only ones I see around here driving the G1 wagon, is Takara. IMO a majority of their CW decos are too toon accurate. Menasor looks like he stepped out of a damn coloring book.
But they are handling other lines very nicely!

Erm, anyway...
This one shall henceforth be known as "High-Speed Form Signal Dash". It allows for SPEEEEEEEEED, and also flashy lights thanks to the magic of clear plastic.
This one shall be named "Patrol Form Safeguard Striker". This form is the jack-of-all-trades, allowing for speed, endurance and firepower in one white and blue package.
This one I christen "Aerial Defence Form Sky Sabre". It grants extra close-quarter power and also enables him to flyyyyyyyyyyy.
And this one I like to call "Mobile Fortifictation Form Protect Gaia". I like to think this form allows him to channel his forcefield to absolute maximum.
Yeah, I watch far too much anime.
