Thanks to the work of Jtprime17 in the TFW2005 boards, we have news regarding some insight on the Transformers San Diego Comic-Con exclusives for 2019. Using the website, Panjiva, who partnered with S&P Global to have information on global supply chains, and their shipments. This leads to Jtprime17's discovery, where, as seen here, as well as the image below, there is a shipment to the United States by Hasbro. There are also to other results, but aren't connected to Hasbro.

Now, I'm guessing this... isn't the Arcade Renegade set? Either way, I'm not going to SDCC, but I have a friend who I think is, so I might still have an avenue to get these. There's hope.

Also shown in the article is the new set called the Arcade Renegades which should be listed soon on Amazon. As has been the standard so far to go with the cuteness of the characters themselves are an assortment of cute names to go along with them.

In the Arcade Renegades we have KNOTZEL the pretzel, DRIVER TED the racing game, CLAWSOME the claw game, TUTU PUFFZ the cotton candy, OLD COOL the cabinet game, BANK SHOT the pinball machine, CACKLE CORN the popcorn, GREED FEED the ticket monster, 24K-BIT the gold coin, TANGRY TART the lollipop, SHERIFF SUGARFEET the doughnut, SWEET CHEAT the candy bar, PIXELFIN the hat, PAPA CLICK the camera, THE FIZZ the soda cup and WRIST BANNED the wrist band.

BotBots Series 3 has been found in the US. So far, it is just the blind packaged single issues and they were found at target in San Antonio. These can be easily distinguished from the previous two sets by having an orange bubble. The person who found them, D3VC0N from the TFW2005 message boards, identified them all for us, writing their names and what they turn into (which is much easier to identify them as). You can see some of these bots in the promotional images below.

Latte Spice Whirl (Orange coffee cup) - 22
Disgusto Desserto (spoiled cannoli) - 5
Rink Stink (blue backpack) - 23
Strike Four (red bat repaint) - 7
Wizengreen (Christmas tree) - 14
Sensei Spiney (pineapple) - 20
Smerg the Sad (Potted plant repaint from series 1) - 2
Calamity Keys (Brown piano) - 10
Shushifier (pink pacifier) - 17
Drippy Pup (Sippy cup) - 19
Makeover n. Over (brown makeup brush repaint) - 11
Meltz Down (Snowman) - 13
Dingledeedoo (Holiday Bell (plunger repaint)) - 6
Treat Elite (pretzel bag) - 21
Q.U.R.O.B.O 6000 (basic toy blocks) - 15
Greeny Rex (Blue Stinkosaurus Rex repaint) - 1
Quackles (rubber duck) - 16
Slimey Slurps (Red Toxic Slushy repaint) - 9
Axwell (light blue rock swagger repaint) - 12
Choc-o-lawless (chocolate syrup bottle) - 4
Terror Tale Torch (Red Dimlit repaint) - 3
Citrus Guzzlerush (light green water bottle repaint) - 8
Nampy (baby crib of death) - 18
D-Pad Chad (Red game console (arcade renegade botbot repaint?)) - 24

Just picked up most of these in NC, I'd guess they're a more or less simultaneous release for Targets that stock the individual Botbots.

Fellow Seibertronians! Yours truly has discovered an intriguing piece of news, this time about a new 8-pack of Botbots being discovered. Thanks to TFW2005 Boards prime roller, we now know of the existence of an 8-pack of Botbots, rather than the usual 5-pack that is currently in retail. This 8-pack, found at a ToysR US in Taipei, Taiwan, represents the Lawn League and includes 3 all-new molds.

This pack retails for NT$599, which translates to roughly $19.27 USD. We currently do not have any street dates on these packs, or what other kinds of packs will be coming, but we will certainly keep you posted on any updates that come up.

Will you be picking up these new packs, or will you be skipping on these? Tell us in the discussion below.

If you want a lot of BotBots in little time then you'll want to buy in bulk. And it doesn't get much bulkier than the massive arcade themed BotBots Arcade Renegades 16 pack featuring eight visible and eight blind pack figures. This set was first announced back in April (after some of the figures appeared at Toy Fair) and now it has been found at retail for the first time. Thanks to Tygar128 we have our first sighting coming in from a Hong Kong shop. The price is reported at $258 HKD ($33 USD) and will likely retail at $29.99 USD. The set will probably be available to the rest of the world within the next couple months.

If you're excited about the Arcade Renegades 16 pack then sound off in the Energon Pub forums below! And if you have sightings of your own to report then feel free to tip us off

Wow, I guess collecting a complete set of Arcade Renegades is virtually impossible? There are 16 figures in the line, but only 12 of those in each package, and they're all exclusive to that set. I had no idea!

Still happy with the set, but I really would have liked some of those other characters too.

Actually, the 16 packs and the arcade renegades are a little different than the previous assortments in that it looks like the arcade renegades only show up in the 16 packs and not anywhere else. Also, because all 6 versions of the package have the same 8 figures visible, it really is a crapshoot unless someone can determine a code to figure out which version 1-6 you have. This will be important for completionists because it actually looks like version 6 of the package is all 16 arcade renegades. I haven't opened mine yet, so I don't know which assortment I got yet, well my daughter got since it is her birthday present. I'll know which one it is next Friday. There is a code printed on the back of mine that is 91551. I'm not sure if that will be useful in determining which assortment I have or not, but I'll be sure to update which blind ones we got once the birthday girl opens them up.

Edit: It is possible that some of the arcade renegades could be the blind packed ones in the 5 and 8 packs which are currently unknown.

The thought to be exclusive Arcade Renegades Botbots set has been spotted in Toysrus stores in Canada. It is a rather big set with 16 botbots. It is found in the Transformers aisle. This same set can also be ordered from Amazon.ca, meaning it is not exclusive to one specific retailer in Canada. The set is $39.99 CAD from both retailers. This set is special in that it has 6 different sets of blind bags. Almost all of them have repeats of series 1. However, there is an assortment with no repacks, which also happens to be the assortment needed at minimum for getting all the series 3 botbots.

Here are the possible assortments:

1: 24K-Bit, Laceface, S'up Dawg, Sheriff Sugarfeet, Skillz Punk, Spud Muffin, Sweet Cheat, Tangry Tart
2: Chilla Gorilla, Duderoni, The Fizz, Hawt Diggity, Papa Click, Pixelfin, Shredder Jack, Wrist Banned
3: 24K-Bit, Chilla Gorilla, Duderoni, Papa Click, Skillz Punk, Spud Muffin, Sweet Cheat, Wrist Banned
4: The Fizz, Hawt Diggity, Laceface, Pixelfin, S'up Dawg, Sheriff Sugarfeet, Shredder Jack, Tangry Tart
5: Chilla Gorilla, Duderoni, Laceface, Papa Click, Sheriff Sugarfeet, Skillz Punk, Sweet Cheat, Tangry
Tart
6: 24K-Bit, The Fizz, Papa Click, Pixelfin, Sheriff Sugarfeet, Sweet Cheat, Tangry Tart, Wrist Banned

The 6th would be the best one to get.

Turns out its the easiest set to get a complete set of. You just have to buy the arcade renegade pack with the number 6 in the back and you get all 16 in one fell swoop. I just did that today :D Will write an article about it later.

It is still unknown if Amazon.com will be the only one carrying the Botbots Arcade Renegades Surprise pack in the US (you can get it here now) but hopefully it comes to brick and mortar since this pack is very different from the rest. This mega set of 16 bots comes in 6 different packs. Althought they might look the same, since they have the same 8 bots exposed, there are 6 different variations of the blind bag bots. And, the worst part, only one of the 6 different blind assortments gives you the rest of the team while the other 5 blind assortments will give you repacks of series 1. Not redecos, repacks. So just the same toys you already have from series 1. There is a way to ensure that you get all of 16 different characters in one go. In the back, next to the chocolate bar with the cheat code written in his jacket, you can see a number from 1 to 6.

Here are examples, look at the tiny white number printed right before the purple background switches to turquoise.

Image

Image

Here are the contents of the blind portion of each of the numbers:

1: 24K-Bit, Laceface, S'up Dawg, Sheriff Sugarfeet, Skillz Punk, Spud Muffin, Sweet Cheat, Tangry Tart
2: Chilla Gorilla, Duderoni, The Fizz, Hawt Diggity, Papa Click, Pixelfin, Shredder Jack, Wrist Banned
3: 24K-Bit, Chilla Gorilla, Duderoni, Papa Click, Skillz Punk, Spud Muffin, Sweet Cheat, Wrist Banned
4: The Fizz, Hawt Diggity, Laceface, Pixelfin, S'up Dawg, Sheriff Sugarfeet, Shredder Jack, Tangry Tart
5: Chilla Gorilla, Duderoni, Laceface, Papa Click, Sheriff Sugarfeet, Skillz Punk, Sweet Cheat, Tangry Tart
6: 24K-Bit, The Fizz, Papa Click, Pixelfin, Sheriff Sugarfeet, Sweet Cheat, Tangry Tart, Wrist Banned

As you can see, number 6 is the only pack where you get all the arcade renegade bots without getting previously released bots from last year.

We also have a review of this set, which you can see below.

Niice. Although I wish I had known this last week; I spotted them on the shelf at my local Meijer and swiped the first one I saw. My son was a little miffed that we got four "old" figures, despite my insistence that getting twelve new figures (for the price of ten) is still pretty good.

Yeah Northern Ireland is part of the UK (for now) but Ireland itself isn't (lucky buggers) still, this could mean that Symths in the UK could get this soon (or have it already)

Fun unboxing surprise: each botbots pack has a mystery character waiting to be discovered. Purchasers will randomly receive 1 of 4 different bakery bytes team 5-packs.
2-In-1 toy: botbots figures convert between 2 fun modes -- a robot and a random object. Lots to collect and 1 hidden character in each pack. Which botbots character is gonna pop out!?

One should take note of safety: this is the only Seibertron recommended combination of passions for both pie and robots currently available on the market. Word to the wise anything else is bound to clog up your ratchets and plug up your rotators.

Sweet! And ordered. I imaging this is going to hurt the very pricey ebay listing from the seibertron store. Now bring on the Lawn League please!!!

I'm hedging my bets. You can get the complete set with any one of the Bakery Bytes 5-packs and both Lawn League 8-packs. It isn't as efficient as if you followed TF-Wiki's best plan of one 8-pack and two 5-packs, but I figure with only two 8-packs to choose from, if I order 2, I stand a good chance of getting one of each. Of course, Hasbro will have to eventually release the Lawn League 8-packs in the US for this to work.

I ordered four of the five packs, and gratefully got 1 of each! So now I have all five Bakery Bites, and five of the Lawn League. Missing the shovel, mower, and flower. Anxiously waiting on the eight packs. So close to having EVERY Botbot! I know I didn’t need every five pack, but I love Botbots.

I went the other direction and only ordered 1 of the 5 packs. I'm taking my chances on getting 1 of each of the 8 packs if/when they become available and I'll also have every botbot.

Twenty bucks for six botbots? Yeah, I don't see those selling well.
