Hunt for the Decepticons Scout Class
TRANSFORMERS™ Scout Class: BACKFIRE™
Many battles between TRANSFORMERS happen at high speed, but few are as spectacular as those between robots trained to used the traffic around them as a weapon. BACKFIRE is a master of zipping between moving vehicles as if they were standing still while keeping his sensors trained on his target. OIL PAN™ may be famous for his ability to disappear in plain sight, but there’s no way he’s getting away this time.
Race into action with this fearsome BACKFIRE figure! In robot mode, this fighter is as tough as they come…but he’s got speed on his side, too. When it’s time to chase down his enemies, convert him to motorcycle vehicle mode so he can “tear up the streets” in hot pursuit!
SUMMARY: Heroic robot fighter converts from fierce robot mode to powerful motorcycle vehicle mode — and back again! Ages 5 and up.
TRANSFORMERS® Scout Class: BRIMSTONE™
There was a time when BRIMSTONE was king of the roads on CYBERTRON™. He was meaner, faster and tougher than anything else on wheels, and he made sure everyone knew it. The only rival he ever really had was HUBCAP™, so it was only natural they ended up on opposite sides in the war. BRIMSTONE may be older now, but he’s also meaner, and there’s no way he’s going down without taking HUBCAP with him.

TRANSFORMERS® Scout Class: CRANKSTART™
With so few AUTOBOTS® configured for off-road operations, CRANKSTART figured he’d be safe hiding on such a remote beach. He thought he could hide out here, keeping away boredom by randomly firing missiles at passing cruise ships. He never expected SEA SPRAY™ and BREACHER™ to come blazing right out of the ocean.

SUMMARY: Sinister robot fighter converts from fierce robot mode to dune buggy vehicle mode — and back again! Ages 5 and up.
TRANSFORMERS® Scout Class: HUBCAP™
HUBCAP never liked the way BRIMSTONE™ pushed other robots around, and he never made any effort to hide his disapproval. The two robots have clashed more times than either of them can count. Now their rivalry has moved to the urban drag strips of Earth. BRIMSTONE may consider himself king of the road, but HUBCAP won’t give up until the so-called king is just another wreck.

BUMBLEBEE is used to the odds being against him. This time is no different than any of dozens of other fights he’s been in. As RAVAGE™* and INSECTICON®* circle him in the gloom, he focuses all his energy on being ready for the attack he knows is coming.

TRANSFORMERS®* Deluxe Class: IRONHIDE®*
IRONHIDE is always looking for a challenge, which is why he volunteered to hunt HAILSTORM™* solo. The two used to be in some of the same weapons clubs back on CYBERTRON™*, so IRONHIDE knows exactly how dangerous the DECEPTICON®* weapons specialist is. He’s looking forward to the chance to test his new weaponry out against a guy with as much firepower as HAILSTORM.

JETBLADE has been hiding out for years among human fighter planes. It was only recently that he hooked up with TERRADIVE™, and the two became instant friends, vowing to remain hidden until the time was right. Even so, the temptation to catch the slow-moving TOMAHAWK™ out in the open was too much for the two dangerous DECEPTICONS®.
Gear up for an intense robot battle with this JETBLADE figure! This warrior is ready to face down his toughest opponents with his spinning thruster accessories. TRANSFORMERS® Deluxe Class: SEA ATTACK RAVAGE™
RAVAGE has been beaten by BUMBLEBEE™ enough times to know he’ll never win a straight fight. That’s why he’s enlisted INSECTICON® to help him stalk the AUTOBOT® warrior. The two beast-bots stalk through the shadows, remaining hidden and letting the brash, yellow robot come to them.

Hunt for the Decepticons Voyager Class
TRANSFORMERS®* Voyager Class: NIGHT OPS RATCHET™*
AUTOBOT RATCHET has been part of some of the most brutal, destructive battles the galaxy has ever seen, but he has never faced anything like PAYLOAD®*. He can feel the power of the charging DECEPTICON®* rumbling through the ground. He just hopes that he is enough to stop the rampaging DECEPTICON courier.

TRANSFORMERS® Voyager Class: SEA SPRAY™
Many DECEPTICONS® believe that while the AUTOBOTS® may rule the land, the sea is safe. Those DECEPTICONS have never met SEA SPRAY. CRANKSTART™ thinks he’s safe hidden on a remote African shore, but he’s about to get the worst shock of his life. SEA SPRAY will come screaming out of the surf, turning the beach into a blasted wasteland with nowhere to hide.
Roll out for some serious robot action! This heroic warrior features double “harpoon” launchers and feet that convert to “flippers” to take on his opponents by land or by “sea”. When it’s time for combat, convert him into hovercraft vehicle mode so he can chase after other “water-borne” robots!

Hunt for the Decepticons Leader Class
TRANSFORMERS® Leader Class: OPTIMUS PRIME®
OPTIMUS PRIME is under no illusions about how dangerous STARSCREAM® really is. The DECEPTICON® second-in-command might be a coward, but he’s still smart and powerful enough to present a real threat to Earth. The AUTOBOT leader has human and AUTOBOT agents combing the globe for the hiding air warrior. As soon as they find him, though, it will be OPTIMUS PRIME alone who goes in to bring him down.

TRANSFORMERS®* Leader Class: STARSCREAM®*
OPTIMUS PRIME®* may think him a coward, but STARSCREAM never flees a fight out of fear alone. Every retreat is calculated to keep him alive long enough to return and destroy his opponents with overwhelming power. As long as the AUTOBOTS®* seek him in force, he will remain hidden. As soon as OPTIMUS PRIME ventures out alone, however, STARSCREAM will strike.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so! I wasn't really sold on the idea of Payload at first, but I'm thinking that I'll pick him up since I missed out on Long Haul.

I really like every detail on it, just an all around solid figure. Highly recommended

Give us a Voyager Scrapper, Hightower and an all new Ratchet already.
A Leader Blackout would be awesome as well.

Anyone else notice that the Transformation levels seem actually based on the transformation, and not just on the size class? For example, Leader Prime is "expert" where as Leader Starscream is merely "advanced." Also, deluxe BB is "advanced" whereas the other deluxes are merely "intermediate."

I didn't notice that but it's more sensible.
I'm constantly surprised at how useless the photo team are. IH looks like his head has been pounded down and his arms appear way too short. BB only has half of his chest transformed. SS is on straight legs. Terrible.

Hubcap is made of complete and total win though. That might be my favorite figure in the whole line. That thing is fantastic.
I know a lot of you like the Dune Runner mold, but we are seriously getting too many repaints out of that thing. I am a little tired of seeing it.

Also just noticed they've gone back to the old faction symbols even for this line.

Very good idea! Hasbro should at least see if they can get permission to add a ZZ on the side. I would buy 20. Maybe even more!

What do you suppose the chances are of G1 repaint of Starscream? Probably slim. Heck, I'd even settle for one without the tattoos....

It's possible. With the recent ROTF repaints and the way licensing works, I think we'd see another version of 'Starscream' from the Leader figure instead of Thundercracker or Skywarp..

I beg to differ. Hasbro isn't really the type to use the same off-screen deco idea twice for the main line.

Where's Elita-1? I thought she was supposed to be part of this line, even though she's a Chromia repaint with a new head mold.

But technically Hunt For Decepticons is a whole new line, and they didn't do a G1-inspired repaint for ROTF either. Honestly I'd be totally fine with one just done up in grey. Or maybe if I find one on clearance I can remove the tattoos myself.
