I may actually do some Repro labels for him if they make a set.

I'm liking the helicopter mode the most so far. Bot mode is alright, could be sweet with some better action posing.

Couldn't have summed it up better myself.

Perhaps this has something to do with the die-cast construction?

It's kinda been shown on the box and in promo pics... three pieces, his chest and his coptor tail

I too, like CP am slightly skeptical of the die-cast. I mean don't get me wrong I love die-cast, it really turns my crank, but it may make the figure top heavy and overall shitty to display in dynamic poses. I mean I want springer jumping all over the place.

Yes, I definitely agree the colors should be a bit darker, but in the end I'm still very excited for this guy. I've been saving cash for months. And don't worry Hasbro, if you ever decide to make a G1 style triple-changing Springer, I'll buy yours too.

Yeah, we don't want Transformers Titanium rehashed on a $90+ figure for us Canucks.

Don't remind me... I went to TFSource's website and have you seen how much they're selling the Snowman Armor for now? $99! I was going to order it today with Defender because it was only like $40 or $50 but now I can't justify it.

I am sorely tempted into buying this guy. I don't even like G1 and I have to say that that kicks ass. Hard.

This was my second thought. My first? It was dirty.

He's a little blank, and I was hoping for a heavier saturation scratch that, the inbox close-up is exactly what I wanted to see. In that case he doesn't need as much reprolabels to pretty him up as I thought. (I'm just sayin', I'd still get the reprolabel kit).

Of course, I'm going to get him, but now the burden of awesome is on the toy. Looking at the panel movement, I'm wondering if this toy is going to feel appropriately "solid".

But what?
Complete your argument. Explain how lower production numbers and a lack of major industrial captial do not equate to significantly higher prices.
I'm surprised that this wasn't in the $125 range.
I know the price is easy to choke on but still. These companies have a lot to go through to make this all happen.

Be thankful you have so many online stores stocking it. I just had to drop £65 to get mine; that's $97 US compared to your $79.

I just paid for my preorder today!
Blurrz wrote:Our dollar is par with the US but we still get served a nice cup of poison cappuccino thanks to the good bastards at border customs. I'm sure FP's stuff will show up at TFCon, so i'm in no rush.
So far I've ordered 3 Piles of Loot from BBTS, and only been charged duties once, and it was under $20 for a $200 box of toys. Just don't get it shipped through UPS. NEVER through UPS, they rip you off with their customs fees.
Edit: Never mind, I just found out I have to pay $30 on $200 worth of toys. I still stand by my preference of couriers though, UPS would've charged at least twice that much.

Just outta curiosity, what's your wreckers line up consist?
Mine:
Univ Countdown= Perceptor
Cyb Wingsaber as himself
Univ Hardhead as Bulkhead (for now, he'll be Hardhead again if Headrobots does a Hardhead)
TFCC WoH Flak as himself
Univ Overload as himself
GF Dark Fangwolf as Warwolf (kiiiiinda like Snakeyes, but not really)
Energon Strongarm as himself
Univ Roadbuster as himself
and finally Springer
Roster is subject to change just like regular Wreckers.
These guys are the equivalent to the G.I. Joe in my TF verse.
