Hmm... I actually like the deluxe Sideswipe better. This one's too stubby-looking when you consider the lean, acrobatic Sideswipe from the movie. Skids looks good though.

I'm skipping all the regular line figures and just getting these.

Given Skids umm, rather interesting dialogue choices in the film, I don't think Mikaela being able to 'ride' his arm is a good choice. Other than that I'm really thinking I need to get these.

Arcee looks like shit. She looks like what would happen if Demolisher raped Arcee, she decided to keep the baby anyways, so Demolisher punched her in the stomach, and this poor retarded offspring was the result. 
Just wanna get that out of the way first. Although I know the only reason she's in this box with Mikaela and Skids is for the extra plastic to justify the price.
Skids looks good, but I just don't like Skids design to begin with.
Mikaela looks great, except for the face. But then again it is difficult to get a face right on a toy, especially one this small. It's hilarious seeing her straddle Skids gun.
I'll probably get this set just for that.

These all suck(Some of the pictures are entertaining though). Deluxe Sideswipe is way better. This one is to stumpy and fat, Arcee is horrible. The deluxe version looks better and i just hate Skids in what ever form hes in. This figure looks like it may be cool (minus the head) but i dont like Skids so im not getting it. They are all a pass for me. Are we going to see come Decepticon one? Instead of humans you could have Alice or Frenzy.

Remember, these are just preliminary pics, the lighting, angles and all that could be making them look worse than they are.
And they fact that the Alternators line broke into the movie is just beyond awesome. It's like we're getting Masterpiece type figures for the movie.

Sadly, Sideswipe seems to be the only one with a SENSIBLE place for a human to be sitting. On his shoulders, with guns to blow things up while he's speeding around slicing and dicing the hell out of them.
Human Alliance in general seems to be a good idea .... but the follow thru keeps falling short. Most of the figures are good, but there's not much human in the HA because they look like second thought tag-on.

I might get these, might not. got HA Bumblebee, wish the back of his taillights weren't in the front. but.... eh. BB is cool, love the battlemask. Hate the front cab parts that are supposed to be pulled out and rotated around (they keep on snapping back in) But all in all think he's cool so... I might get the other HA figs.

Well, Sideswipe still looks rather chubby but he's got quite a nice paint job and extra details that the better-proportioned deluxe version lacks and the shoulder-cannons are the deal-makers for me. Skids should have his door-wings rotated out of sight (he makes a poor Bumblebee imitator) but is otherwise quite nice. Chromia-gone-red looks crappy, but you have to consider how big the human alliance figures are, making her possibly Micromasters or Minicon-sized so I won't mind the skewed robot mode.
It's simple, really (at least this is how I think it gets done in the most logical manner);
Step 1: Prototype of highest quality is selected.
Step 2: Hasbro gets an employee to painstakingly paint prototype with all sorts of high-quality paint.
Step 3: Painted prototype is posed in white backdrop and photos taken.
Step 4: Behoooold, the magic of photoshop! Now with extra shinyness!
Result: Super-shiny and extra pretty stock photographs that do a poor job at depicting the actual toy shown which may even have gimmicks removed to cost-cut, damn the 'product may vary from image' clause.

meh - mildly disappointed with these - after the awesomeness of HA Bumblebee, these look pretty crappy - the deluxe versions of these two look way better - and don't even get me started on Arcee - quite like the bike bots - picked up Chromia the other day and she's really grown on me.. - you'd have thought with Arcee being a larger size (i'm guessing), they'd have put a bit more detail in - this 'effort' looks like an oversized legends class.....

I share the chubby Sideswipe sentiment. I'll stick with my deluxe version. Although, this HA version looks like it might actually be capable of standing up without assistance. Whoever made the comment about the humans not looking as good as they should, I totally agree. I know they're tiny figures and all, but without them we might as well buy the regular figures. At least give us a bit more bang for a our buck.

Honestly, I'm hoping that Sideswipe looks the way he does due to the angle in which the picture was taken...it's sort of above him looking down...It makes him look like a dwarf or something, and seriously, little people scare the crap out of me...the only thing scarier would be a clown, or a dwarf in a clown cosume...I am going to reserve judgement on him until I see more pics...Skids is ok I suppose, and the Arcee bike is horrible. It will be fun to see a Barricade though.

Love the detail, but why is Sideswipe's torso so huge and his legs so small ? I hope the photo was taken from above. I vowed never to buy a figure of one of the twins, but Im not gonna lie the Skids looks much better than the deluxe version. Maybe I will consider this one if they make a mudflap to go with it. The Arcee is ugly with lack of details to me...

Eh, I'm passin on both of 'em. The Deluxe Sideswipe, in my opinion, looks MUCH better than this one. He looks sleeker and his body is longer. This one's stubby and his arms are really wide and weird lookin'. And the Skids, I think, needs a lot more green around his next. Fill all that black up practically. And the doors? He ain't Mudflap

I like Skids but Mikaela and Arcee are not too good. I really hope Arcee is horribly mistransformed because I will be getting Skids. Also, Optimus Prime and Major Lennox would be excellent however Prime would be massive and could probably go toe to toe with Armada Unicron. He would probably cost a lot too.

Someone in the forum asked if we would see HA figures for the Decepticons. Remember Barricade having a holigraphic cop in the first movie and I know Blackout was taken out in the first movie, but he had a holigraphic pilot. And then there's Alice, the Pretender in ROTF, so IMO a HA line of Decepticons could work.

Probably somewhere in between the Ultimate class and leader class.. like the size of the Masterpiece Optimus..I'm guessing..
they could call that class the epic class or epic scale version, and do away with Human Alliance as a title all together..(which opens up all kinds of possibilities)
actually that is funny and all, but if they did a mold homage to Peter Cullen as the figure for a Human Alliance Optimus Prime, that would be awesome!!

I really don't see what all the Hub-bub is all about..
I mean here is the gallery image of the deluxe version..
and here is the Latest image of the HA version...(note the images in the beginning of this post have been photo-manipulated by Hasbro, this is the real toy after transformation..)well it could still be a prototype.. I don;t understand the color choices in the image below.. green feet, hands and the swords??
So to me, I think they both look the same as far as thickness..
I mean Sideswipe is just a thick transformer..it's the back pack that does it..
it looks like the HA backpack is upside down, with the windshield up instead of facing down..
I don;t have a problem with the bulkiness of the figure, it has other issues..
The colors in the HA version look all wrong, what's up with that??
maybe the final version will be better..??

Going by this comparison, I actually like the HA version better than the deluxe. Was put off off by pairing Epps with Sideswipe, but given how the movie begins, it makes at least a bit more sense than it did...

When I saw HABB I was SO excited and desparate for it. Skids and Sideswipe don't get me excited at all. Maybe I'll get them on sale if I see them.

sideswipe has chubby legs, his hands and blades look weird, i'm still gonna get him.i'm also gonna get bumblebee with sam and skids with arcee and mikayla.i'm gonna put mikayla in bumblebee with sam.i think what that guy said is true,that demolisher raped arcee,then she got pregnet and decided to keep the baby,the demolisher punched her in the stomach and out come the disfigured arcee.you guys all know that arcee is chromia,but just painted red.i mean the whole cannon arm, arcee has a blade on her right arm and both of arcee's tires are on the bottom.i'm also gonna get the deluxe arcee.if you adjust it the gap between her head and the front of the motorcycle,if you put them close enough you might be able to put mikayla in the gap.

I agree; Mikaela with the scout-class looking Arcee makes sense, but Mikaela/Skids... not so much. I think Simmons was actually driving Skids anyway, or I'd say put him with Mudflap.

i agree with most people here...sideswipe looks faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat but skids looks rather nice...but i think ill stick to finding deluxe sideswipe and skip skids and arcee until i see some reviews
