Can't blame Hasbro, we(the fans) created her. Her name, gender, modes, and color scheme were chosen by us.

And what's you get.

Nobody asked for 2 exact same alpha bravo redecos. We said we would like to of the limbs to be jets or helicopters, it was either that or cars and trucks.

Well it's what your getting. Treat them like the old school g1 clones or twins or like cassettes or even the prime vehicons. USE YOUR IMAGINATION

The twins have asymmetrical paint schemes. They also seem to be mirrors of each other as well. So for those of you who don't like them, maybe you can take them apart and reassemble them so that the asymmetrical, mirrored pieces are all uniformed on the two of them. That way there's a chance they'd look less similar to each other with the reds and teals being in different spots on the two of them instead of being half and half on those areas.

It might be what you're getting, but I sure as hell won't be getting her. Aside from the (honestly kinda neat) torso bot, they look pretty dreadful. Not to mention that this makes, what, 5 uses of the Alpha Bravo mold with bare-bones retooling? And those colours...That horrible mouthwash teal and fresh-period-blood red...

Between Wave 2 getting skipped in the EU and the sheer amount of laziness with mold-recycling (seriously Hasbro, enough with the pointless '84 Autobot limbs and save the budget for more molds or better retooling for the actual combiner teams) I am fast going off Combiner Wars.

Something is not right about Victorion's colour mapping.
Overall though, she looks good. The molds and the new heads work well, and the colours-in theory-have their charm, but it's not working as is.

Biggest gripe-a retool of Bravo with new arms exists and it WASN'T used for Vortex??!! :-x

Kind of like how the Wheeljack chest wasn't used for Sunstreaker.

It's not just that the helicopters have the same color scheme... or that Alpha Bravo never gets anything more than a head swap across 5 different toys now... it's that they don't look remotely feminine. The torso figure isn't much better, really boxy. At least they managed a little something by adding to the Dead End & Breakdown chests.

This is just what I was afraid of. Maybe they should have overridden the poll results and chosen molds that were easier to feminize.

And aparently, Hasbro can make a dedicated hands and feet if they want to. This should have been the case at the very start of CW line, dedicated hands and feet and combining weapons.

This is a special set given special treatment. All the other CW toys (sans Devastator) don't warrant as much attention given their ordinariness.

well i knew i would be disappoined but i had no idea i would be THIS disappointed. man thats bad. and i voted for none of this (so people cant say "hurr its what us fans voted for! :D) no. i voted for a decepticon male combiner teamed slammoth.

It's pretty neat one has a visor and another has a faceplate, as lady bots for some reason don't typically get little things like that. But overall this set does absolutely nothing for me.

Randomhero wrote:Can't blame Hasbro, we(the fans) created her. Her name, gender, modes, and color scheme were chosen by us.

Well no. Hasbro provided us with a tiny handful of options to choose from, and without any clue on how it'd fit together. Did people vote for two helicopters, or did Helicopter coincidentally win twice? We don't know.

Plus the color option seriously underplayed how prominent that red would be:

Oh god, it looks......hideous! I mean, the groove redeco looks alright, I guess, so there's that. But who asked for fruit punch mixed with blue raspberry slurpee colour? Who? I can cross this one off the list. So far, the only things I'm looking forward to are Smokescreen, Trailbreaker, Sky Lynx and Bruticus.

While all fans didn't agree on the options, she is still decided by the fans via majority vote. Like it or not that's how it is.

I wonder when her release windows is and if she's a gift set or individual releases (I can't see it being individual myself mind, maybe that's why she's shown here next to Go Superion).

Only reason I ask is that here in the eu never saw Windblade at retail

Also, don't even tell me that that is a Sea of Rust colour scheme. No! Sea of Rust should be something not hideous. Fuck! This is bullshit. This is why fans shouldn't be allowed to choose colour schemes. They choose the worst option. And it's really evident here.

Well, I'm going off the paint shine to say this is "Hand Painted Protoype" and hope there's a slide show with a more better picture.

I like Nightbird's head, but I am glad that it isn't Nightbird (or G1 Nightbird) the mold's too blocky for an animatronic robot not meant to transform.

Funny, the torso has the right general colors for Fire Chief (should be more blue than green) but when I wanted a Red remold of that it was for Fire Convoy. Oh well, I can still hold out for a yellow repaint, cause I don't trust myself to paint something of that scale.

New arms for AB is cool, kinda wish we got them erlier. Blades maybe. Not Vortex, he actually IS an attack helo. But I wouldn't be surprised if these arms didn't exist until Victorion.

And the combining weapons are AWESOME.

Fans voted on a set of 3 colours. They didn't decide how they would be mapped onto each figure. That's all Hasbro. People who picked this colour choice have every right to complain, imo, since their choice was used less than wisely. >:oP

Huh, well, not too shabby, I do kind of wish they'd throw in some more colors for variety. Heads and chests look good, all of them overall look nice. The new hands and feet are a nice touch. Although, looking at the Dead-End repaint, I betcha dollars to donuts that it'll be repainted into Nightbird in the US. The weapons are incredible!

LOL...what a joke. Of course I did not expect any less. This right here proves that these sexist morons at Hasbro are doing this because they think that random females will flock to the fandom because there is a "female" transformer. And in that, they cannot even create new molds for the release! And, to top that all off, it just repaints of the same molds from he supposed "male" transformers. This is so insulting to women! I mean, look, they put lipstick on one of them!

HAHAHAHA! They must be the Bruce Jenners of Cybertron, eh Hasbro? Oh well, saves my cash. And I need a break anyhow with all of these releases.

I have to agree. Masterpiece Tracks looks more feminine than these. Repaints still can't make these molds look more feminine. I'm all for fem-bots but this is a hell of a fail. I was looking forward to acquiring this set but it's going to be a "no".

To be fair, those "fembots" are OUTRAGEOUSLY butch. Seriously, those were some absolutely zero-effort retools. The Dead End retool with the Nightbird headsculpt could easily pass off as a guy (and honestly looks like a hench "gangsta"/Somali pirate with a facemask). After Road Rage, who only had a few parts here and there rounded off and generally made more feminine, and yet still looked like a proper fembot, there is absolutely no excuse for the feeble effort they made here.

I'm not saying they needed to look like Drossel Von Flugel, but they could have done better than the goddamn botched-tranny look they've given them. Seriously, there's plenty of TFs that are meant to be male that make better fembots than these disasters.

I don't have a problem with them not looking 'feminine' After all, G1 Hot-Rod looked less than masculine, and the same can now be said for Nick Roche's Springer. I'm not overly fond of the character, but RiD Strongarm is a good female design without being traditionally feminine

Given the current direction this thread is taking, I want to make sure we're all aware that words like 'tranny' are hurtful and hateful and will not be tolerated on the Seibertron.com boards. 'Cross-dressing', 'trans', etc are not insults, so please do not use them as such.

Anyone failing to adhere to these guidelines will be reminded by the moderating team, and in case of failure to comply, receive a board warning.

Thank you.

Yeah, Strongarm is great, and still at least looks vaguely female. These though? Even the headsculpts suck ball bearings. The Breakdown retool looks like a blow-up doll, the Dead End retool looks like a South African gangster, the Alpha Bravo retools are just generic in the extreme (the mouthplated head is OK, the visored head...yeah...)...they all look just awful.

I'll be waiting for a 3P Victorion that actually has some effort put into it.

No, I am sick of this bullshit. I was not the first, nor will I be the last to say this kind of thing. You people have a website with an open forum and you must respect others opinions or they will leave. It is that simple. But yet, you jump me every time for my comments when others say worst things and nothing is said.

I have seen people insult my personal beliefs on this site, mods included, and I have never cried about it, because it is your OP, not mine.

I have been sent PMs by other members accusing you people of the same thing. I am not going to name names, but you can guarantee that I am not the only one who thinks you, Burn, and other mods have a set of rules you selective enforce when you see fit. Mainly when it agrees with your personal OP. Its not fair, especially to the people who pay the bills indirectly to keep this site getting paid for its service.

Furthermore, if I want to insult Hasbro staff I will do so. Its called freedom of speech. You cannot just treat someone unfairly and then try to get them to discuss it with them privately, when this kind of thing effects all who visit this site. And anyone who is not a mod is going to see this and think they will be the next person harassed for their opinion. Do you think that is best for the site? If people want to say something about someone else personally on the site, then they should PM them. But, if I want to slander Hasbro, then what is it to you? What is this, Nazi Germany?

You like Victorion that much to hope for a 400-500$ Combiner of her? Not that it would happen. And plus her appearance is based on these mold choices, so I dont see how someone else can improve on a design that was basically based on the exact toy they were producing.

Pretty much, this is as good as it will get. BUT remember guys, we are getting ankle tilts out of this. Those new legs and hands have that feature now.

Looks neato. Not blown away but certainly didn't expect to be based on the options while voting. The weapons are super cool and the new combiner parts are a welcome addition. Glad to see more red in the color scheme, the head shot from last night's artwork looked a lot like Quickswitch!

In one post you have insulted Hasbro staff, Caitlyn Jenner and probably a number of users and fans. I'd almost be impressed if it weren't so sad.

You are clearly incapable of expressing your negative opinions without resorting to insult - have a warning. It's on me.

Ok, I call out the hypocrisy and obvious sexism of this whole concept and I am the bad guy? Furthermore, I am not the only one calling these things cross dressers, so unless you are going to warn everyone else that makes you a hypocrite and a bully.

I have issued a general thread warning. I expect everyone to adhere to the rules.
Users who have used language inappropriate without directly breaching the rules do not get an immediate warning.

You directly insulted Hasbro staff, by calling them 'morons'.

I will not hear any more from you here on this matter, but feel free to PM me.

No, I am sick of this ****.

It's called breaking the rules.

Seibertron.com Energon Pub Forum Rules and Guidelines

Here at Seibertron.com we have one simple philosophy

BE EXCELLENT TO EACH OTHER

We have four basic rules
1. No personal attacks/threats
2. No adult (18+) material
3. No discussion nor promotion of illegal activities
4. No pseudo-modding

What does it all mean?
1. No personal attacks/threats
This includes, but is not limited to, personal attacks/threats on a person for their race, religious beliefs, sexual preferences, cultural background, upbringing, personal appearance etc posted publicly on forums and sent via private messages.

This NOT limited solely to members of Seibertron.com. Personal attacks/threats against non-members (e.g. Comic book Writers/Artists, Movie Producers/Stars/Directors, Toy Designers etc) will also not be tolerated.

No, its called selectively enforcing rules Va'Al. If I got on here and slandered Hitler, then you would not say anything, would you?

Do this. Create a anon poll and ask the members of this site if they think the rules are selectively enforced here.

Lets see who is in the right and who is wrong.

I know that I'm picking out a real specific thing here, but this cannot possibly be a real issue, can it? I am all for sensitivity and playing nice, but we as a board cannot have gotten to the level where something like the about is construed as being an actual injury, can we?

Damn, am I the only one that likes the combiner? The colors could be better, but they don't bother me. also, they look feminine enough to me.
