Site owner Seibertron is once more on the field at San Diego Comic Con 2015, and has been perusing the Hasbro booth - which has added more figures since the Preview Night gallery (found here). Most intriguing? The fully combined Victorion fan-built Combiner debuting in the Combiner Hunters one-shot from IDW Publishing!

The combiner reutilises previously seen molds, such as Alpha Bravo (two of them! they're twins!), Voyager Hot Spot, Breakdown, Dead End and Legends Groove - though all in a unified colour scheme with red, aquamarine and silver accents, plus a massive combinable sword and new hands and feet add-ons. Check out the images below.

G2 Superion!!!

Also, it seems they all get new hands except for Groove. Breakdown, Hot Spot and Dead End/Wildrider all have new open hands while the Alpha Bravo twins get new forearms entirely. Hasbro needs to mass produce that sword and those hands and feet and get them out there for all the combiners. While I'm one of those people who don't mind the standard hands and feet, these new ones look great. Especially those new feet. I really like that color scheme too. It's like a G2 figure, it's so gaudy that it's beautiful. The new heads and chest plates came out nice as well. I can't wait to see this done in molded plastic instead of the paint, they're going to look so much better than they already do.

Wow, just wow. Looks like a few new head molds to go around (I think). That sword is amazing as well. Only problem, the colour scheme, but it also doesn't help that it's shiny at this point.

Also, I see you G2 Superion...

Well, G2 Superion confirmed. Rated X, you get your Golden Slingshot.

EDIT: As for the big woman herself, while I'm not really into fembots, I'll pick her up because she looks cool, and I'll probably give her hands to someone else like Maximus or Superion.

I am sure it will look less shiny when they use molded plastic instead of paint. I am confused with the twin alpha bravos though. WIll Hasbro just be releasing the same toy under two different names on the packaging?

I'm not a big fan of the single bot modes, but I'm loving the Gestalt, so if I got the set I'd keep her in that

Also, that G2 Superion, just brings back bad memories of my G2 Slingshot, and the curse of Brittle Gold Plastic Syndrome

The twin helicopters aren't exactly the same. They have different heads and their Autobrands are on opposite sides of their chest.

I think people are too quick to judge. Bad paint job and bad lighting. I want to see the official pics and the actual toys before I decide if it's terrible. That being said, I wish they weren't all the same colors, but I'm curious to know what the fiction will be for these. Are they a special team? Did they all get new paint jobs when they started combining?

Also, if they've showed G2 Superion and Victorion already, WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO REVEAL AT THE PANEL!?!?!?

Look at it this way folks, the color scheme is very end of G1/early G2 colors and it is. It's not that bad when you think of the old predators, pretenders and power masters

Who's the motorcycle who makes up the breast plate (as in the character?) and, is it just the ligthing? Victorion's colors kind of hurt my eyes.

Ugh. That colourscheme is horrible (although the rough gloss paint isn't helping at all). As for the molds, the torso bot is kinda cool, but the limbs range from OK to GUH.

On the plus side, the sword is really cool, and so are the hands and feet. Though what they're going to do outside of combined mode I do not know.

Nobody asked for 2 exact same alpha bravo redecos. We said we would like to of the limbs to be jets or helicopters, it was either that or cars and trucks.

After the preliminary images of Hasbro Transformers Combiner Wars Victorion, site owner Seibertron provides us with a better quality gallery of the new combiner and her six different characters that form the gestalt - all of whom are still unnamed, though we may find out later today. Check out a small sample below, and click on any of the images to view the full works!

Well it's what your getting. Treat them like the old school g1 clones or twins or like cassettes or even the prime vehicons. USE YOUR IMAGINATION

The twins have asymmetrical paint schemes. They also seem to be mirrors of each other as well. So for those of you who don't like them, maybe you can take them apart and reassemble them so that the asymmetrical, mirrored pieces are all uniformed on the two of them. That way there's a chance they'd look less similar to each other with the reds and teals being in different spots on the two of them instead of being half and half on those areas.

It might be what you're getting, but I sure as hell won't be getting her. Aside from the (honestly kinda neat) torso bot, they look pretty dreadful. Not to mention that this makes, what, 5 uses of the Alpha Bravo mold with bare-bones retooling? And those colours...That horrible mouthwash teal and fresh-period-blood red...

Between Wave 2 getting skipped in the EU and the sheer amount of laziness with mold-recycling (seriously Hasbro, enough with the pointless '84 Autobot limbs and save the budget for more molds or better retooling for the actual combiner teams) I am fast going off Combiner Wars.

Something is not right about Victorion's colour mapping.
Overall though, she looks good. The molds and the new heads work well, and the colours-in theory-have their charm, but it's not working as is.

Biggest gripe-a retool of Bravo with new arms exists and it WASN'T used for Vortex??!! :-x

It's not just that the helicopters have the same color scheme... or that Alpha Bravo never gets anything more than a head swap across 5 different toys now... it's that they don't look remotely feminine. The torso figure isn't much better, really boxy. At least they managed a little something by adding to the Dead End & Breakdown chests.

This is just what I was afraid of. Maybe they should have overridden the poll results and chosen molds that were easier to feminize.

And aparently, Hasbro can make a dedicated hands and feet if they want to. This should have been the case at the very start of CW line, dedicated hands and feet and combining weapons.

This is a special set given special treatment. All the other CW toys (sans Devastator) don't warrant as much attention given their ordinariness.

It's pretty neat one has a visor and another has a faceplate, as lady bots for some reason don't typically get little things like that. But overall this set does absolutely nothing for me.

Randomhero wrote:Can't blame Hasbro, we(the fans) created her. Her name, gender, modes, and color scheme were chosen by us.

Well no. Hasbro provided us with a tiny handful of options to choose from, and without any clue on how it'd fit together. Did people vote for two helicopters, or did Helicopter coincidentally win twice? We don't know.

Plus the color option seriously underplayed how prominent that red would be:

Oh god, it looks......hideous! I mean, the groove redeco looks alright, I guess, so there's that. But who asked for fruit punch mixed with blue raspberry slurpee colour? Who? I can cross this one off the list. So far, the only things I'm looking forward to are Smokescreen, Trailbreaker, Sky Lynx and Bruticus.

While all fans didn't agree on the options, she is still decided by the fans via majority vote. Like it or not that's how it is.

I wonder when her release windows is and if she's a gift set or individual releases (I can't see it being individual myself mind, maybe that's why she's shown here next to Go Superion).

Only reason I ask is that here in the eu never saw Windblade at retail

Also, don't even tell me that that is a Sea of Rust colour scheme. No! Sea of Rust should be something not hideous. Fuck! This is bullshit. This is why fans shouldn't be allowed to choose colour schemes. They choose the worst option. And it's really evident here.

Well, I'm going off the paint shine to say this is "Hand Painted Protoype" and hope there's a slide show with a more better picture.

I like Nightbird's head, but I am glad that it isn't Nightbird (or G1 Nightbird) the mold's too blocky for an animatronic robot not meant to transform.

Funny, the torso has the right general colors for Fire Chief (should be more blue than green) but when I wanted a Red remold of that it was for Fire Convoy. Oh well, I can still hold out for a yellow repaint, cause I don't trust myself to paint something of that scale.

New arms for AB is cool, kinda wish we got them erlier. Blades maybe. Not Vortex, he actually IS an attack helo. But I wouldn't be surprised if these arms didn't exist until Victorion.

And the combining weapons are AWESOME.

Fans voted on a set of 3 colours. They didn't decide how they would be mapped onto each figure. That's all Hasbro. People who picked this colour choice have every right to complain, imo, since their choice was used less than wisely. >:oP

Huh, well, not too shabby, I do kind of wish they'd throw in some more colors for variety. Heads and chests look good, all of them overall look nice. The new hands and feet are a nice touch. Although, looking at the Dead-End repaint, I betcha dollars to donuts that it'll be repainted into Nightbird in the US. The weapons are incredible!

According to TFW2005, Victorion and G2 Superion will be box-sets, not exclusive to any particular store, but they'll mostly be sold through online retailers.
