Our latest gallery presented to you today is that of the crazy-as-all-get-out-purple-people-smasher leader of the Decepticons from Season 3 of the original Transformers cartoon and the sometimes leader from the Headmasters cartoon: Legends Galvatron! Galvatron is the Takara version of the Hasbro released Titans Return Galvatron with Nucleon, featuring, among other things, a lighter shade of purple for his paint scheme. He also comes with his Headmaster pal Megatron, who features a much more detailed paint scheme than his Hasbro counterpart, Nucleon.
You can check out the whole gallery by clicking any of the below images. Let us know what you think of this latest iteration of the big bad Decepticon Emperor of Destruction in the comments section, and as always stay tuned to Seibertron.com for all your latest Transformers News and Galleries!

They are technically both Headmasters.

At least, not without Fort Max being headless (which kinda defeats the point of his being a Headmaster).
Isn't that true for all Headmasters, though? Beasides, it's not like Fort Max needs a head for his alt modes.

I tried to see if I could utilize those panels on the boots to at least cover the thighs. It just feels like a little effort could've made a better jet. Heck, they could've just left the boots how they are for cannon mode and just gave him some flip out wings or something.

It's... kind of ironic. Your post was meant to critique his jet mode, yet those pictures have quickly sold me on the jet mode and made me fall in love with it.

Note that The legs aren't tabbed to anything. I'm just relying on the tightness of the joints.

Autobots: 5 - Cerebros/Fort Max, Chromedome, Hardhead, Brainstorm, Highbrow
Decepticons: 6 - Scorponok, Skullcruncher, Mindwipe, Weirdwolf, Apeface, Snapdragon
Your counting Cerebros and Fort Max separately didn't make sense in that regard since one is a piece of the other's whole.

What we need now is an actual scorponok with zarak figure

All individual characters, in most cases with a few exceptions like Action Master partners, have their own separate galleries. While I wanted the Action Masters like Wingthing to have their own galleries, it didn't make sense to have Bumblebee's Helicopter partner have a gallery. Same with the recent Transformers Legends figures from Takara Tomy such as Hardhead and Skullcruncher who have the equivalent of Action Master partners.
Not to mention that Cerebros is a really awesome figure. His first ever "cool" figure. He's almost Voyager Class sized. He should definitely have his own gallery!

I would go for it. Having the main cons in leader scale would be pretty sweet... if you can afford it mind you, but still a cool concept

You could always go Takara for the red visor.

Also...coreect me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the first time we get a minion compatible Soundwave that does NOT include any minions at all? WFC didn't come with any either, but there weren't any made for him, even Prime Soundwave came with either Ravage or Laserbeak, even if they were simple.

Yeah. WFC had no minions and wasn't compatible with any. I have FoC Soundwave (and minions) and he's kind of my "Generations" Soundwave stand-in for the moment. Not a bad size being a voyager and the minions are also nice to have too. Just he's a Cybertronian car instead of a stereo, but with fiddling he could be a Cybertronian stereo.

Plus FIRRIB. Can't forget FIRRIB.
I do wish I could get Buzzsaw without getting Soundblaster though. But I do love how all of the minions are represented mostly.

Eeeeh... I really don't like their Rumble or Frenzy. Or their Ravage, for that matter. They look a bit crap to me so I'd rather go with other versions.
I wish I could get Buzzsaw without getting Soundblaster too... mostly because I got Soundblaster and I lost Buzzsaw

That was a big selling point for me with FoC Soundwave and Blaster. Being able to have a good lineup of their minions. It's a shame that autotransform gimmick wrecked their designs so much.
Admittedly, the designs for the bird and cat characters aren't great here but they're a little better. At least Laserbeak and Buzzsaw have feet this time.

As for Leader Soundwave, he looks great, if still just a bit too big for my proper "Classics" display shelves. The FoC Voyager version from a few years ago will continue to fill the "neo G1" role. For his minions, I think the best Rumble and Frenzy are actually the recent Transformers Adventure release. They've got that great combination of G1 detail and general silhouette with an updated alt-mode. The new Titans Return versions look good, but the mold fits Blaster's humanoid cassette buddies much better. I'm not sure on Laserbeak and Buzzsaw yet. Their Titans Return versions are good, but I do like their data disks forms from FoC, and they actually work with that figure, which is still in my current display. Same goes for data disk Ratbat (I wonder if he will get a Titans Return update?). So far, nothing has really surpassed the Universe 2008 Ravage that came with Hound 8 years ago. Heck, every Classics iteration of him seems to get worse. I just can't get behind table-cat with butt wings.
Posted by Va'al on September 9th, 2016 @ 3:34pm CDT
Rumble continues the age-old diatribe about the colouring, for some, as is presented in a small, black and red tank and tablet modes alongside his robot one; Ravage also shares a tablet mode, but couples his cat-like stealth to a jet mode; Laserbeak swoops in with another variation of the spy tablet, and a questionable spiky armored vehicle mode. And of course, all of them are compatible with Soundwave by fitting into his chest - check it out by clicking on any of the images below!

Good question. I also thought the little tank modes of Laserbeak and Rumble could drive on his base mode ramps.

Just went through a review to double check in case for whatever dumb reason they couldn't go in; but no, they do.
