Take a cue from the Club and use Ferak?JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:I can't help but wonder how TakaraTomy will repurpose this figure... No doubt they'll use the Galvatron II persona, but what of poor Cyclonus?
Since Galvatron II uses the toy's pale deco, they could make Ferak the same pale color.

No doubt any TakaraTomy release of this figure will be an exclusive redeco like Grand Scourge.

LAME.
I am actually glad because I need a break from Hasbro sucking my wallet clean with the first three real combiners. Just two to go, Bruticus and Devastator, and they can put this line in the can for all I care. If I thought we would get Computron or Predaking, then I would be interested. But, instead we get two LAME combiners. Once of which was created for political purposes rather than to make the fans happy. And they claim the fans "created" it. The sad thing is some of you believe it.....

That's not Victorion this is Galvatronus.
Computron's components are kinda dead in the comics except for Scattorshot and Strafe so I think their waiting plus Rook looks to be a nosecone remold and Hasbro probably does not want to confuse kids with the Predacons right now since it hasn't been too long since Beast Hunters ended.
What is sad though is you actually believing that the voting was rigged that and insulting the rest of us.
Seriously all your posts seem to be about complaining or call bullcrap on something.

Victorion will be Galvatronus' rival.

Yes I know that was the case.
I voted for that option

MaverickPrime wrote:HOLY CRAP HE CAN USE TAILGATE AS A CHEST?!?!
Sort of ... I never thought to try the Legends Class figures in the chest on Silverbolt. There isn't a peg for them to attach to, but the chest panels on Silverbolt/Cyclonus hold the figures in pretty darn well. It stayed in position when I posed "Galvatronus" without any problems at all. In my twisted reality for "G1" Cyclonus, who I'm considering a separate incarnation from the honorable and watchful "Lost Light" Cyclonus, he enslave Tailgate as armor through his mind control abilities. Sorry Tailgate ... you have no friend with G1 Cyclonus.
There is an episode of G1 where Cyclonus' face is drawn in a very similar style to the Combiner Wars Cyclonus. I thought it was a brief scene in Starscream's Ghost, but I can't seem to find it. Can anyone else think of where his face was drawn like this? It certainly takes reference to some scene with Cyclonus where his face was drawn differently than normal. No, I'm not thinking of the "lips" version of Cyclonus either.

At the same time, they are simple repaints, much like two figures in yesterday's galleries, of the Optimus Prime, Starscream and Bumblebee that were re-released with Age of Extinction. Just to make it clearer for everyone. In any case, click on any of the images below to view their full galleries (as Ultra Magnus' latest Leader update is just around the corner...)!
Generations Combiner Wars Cliffjumper
Generations Combiner Wars Ultra Magnus
Generations Combiner Wars Skywarp

Also never liked that Bumblebee mold. Cliffjumper's original 1984 toy still looks better in a few ways (the head and face design in particularly, and I dislike the arms on that newer one)
Skywarp's colour scheme always looks cool.

You should ask Seibertron himself, these are his figures and photos.

"Magnus" is the nickname for the smaller cab robot which was hardly ever seen in-fiction. The official name for the figure is still "Ultra Magnus" however, no matter the form.

Get over what? I was pointing out the misleading artwork that shows Ultra Magnus's proper robot form but in the cab's colours when that form should be red and blue and also not on this packaging at all since it doesn't resemble the toy inside in anything but colour. Good thing it's packaged in robot mode so you can see what you're getting as the character portrait fails there. A recoloured image of Prime would be seem cheap (like this repaint) but more fitting to the figure people are buying here. When has his main and most common robot form ever been white?

Do you suffer from schizophrenia?

Gearslide wrote:It would have been funny if the Legends Ultra Magnus had worked out to be small enough to fit in the new Leader Class toy, so you could actually have a tiny white Optimus sit inside if you didn't particularly care for Minimus or Alpha Trion.
That would be pretty neat.

Unnecessary.
Please refrain from this kind of comment on the boards, thank you.

I got cliffjumper and skywarp from mandarakes website in japan and I got ultra magnus from a seller on ebay out of North carolina. They are apparently currently available at two discount chains exclusive in the south As well as from hasbro Asia (cliffjumper amd skywarp both have the Asia sticker on the back of their packaging). I'm assuming these will be available at other chains such as big lots and dollar general and possibly family dollar later this year.

Technically speaking they're not. Like the other Legions and the Kids Day Protectobots they have no subline, which makes them part of the generic Transformers 2014/2015 line. But for the ease of organisation such "subline-less" toys are usually put with Generations.

Also, they share the same packaging style as the CW figures. Not to mention GENERATIONS Combiner Wars kinda encompasses all.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Technically speaking they're not. I was surprised how much better it is than the Henkei version. This is another example of Takara's version isn't always better! It seems whoever comes out with a figure second has the better scheme. The original Masterpiece Starscream is another example.

And this is a complete set already. Legends Starscream, Skywarp and Thundercracker are released. Leader Skywarp hasn't even been mentioned yet. Well, in any official capacity anyway.
