Please note that the abdominal tab is not pulled down on either figure making them slightly mistransformed (see, it doesnt only happen with Hasbro).

Yeah, they're going for the models as specified by the original Diaclone toys. In Ironhide's case he's "Onebox Cherry Vanette" owned by Nissan.

Would it would be safe to say that Hasbro would have no trouble releasing these guys since they released Prowl and Blue Streak who are also licensed by Nissan?

Technically, ratchet has remolded parts, and those parts (the diaper specifically) play a major role in our subconscious understanding of what looks proportionately correct, the straight lines work a lot like patterns on clothing in making you perceive something in a certain way. I believe that that and the color are working really hard in this guys favor.
Plus the other factors, like the fact that he may be a lesser known/loved character and thus comes under far less scrutiny, or the fact that we knew this was coming and thus you are just resigned to accepting it.

I would hazard to say that if ih had ratchets diaper that he would 'look' infinitely better due to the lines on ih's diaper draw your eye to the center of it and then you register how disproportionate it is; I'm not big into fashion or art theory, so I can only say so much, but this - I believe - is definitely what goin' on

Yes, I think it is safe to say they will be issued by Hasbro. However, since the sled is a part all on its own I wouldnt put it past Hasbro to release them without it.

That is all so well said. I would also like say that it has a lot to do with the fact that there is less contrast on ratchet. It's all white so parts like the hip kibble blend better with the robot.

That is, if hasbro intends to release it, or any other mp of late either It would be an interesting move on hasbro's part, if they did a full-blown retail release of mp ramjet...

Hasbro confirmed that they intend to follow through on other MP releases. They havent stopped since the line revamped. The only hiccough in the way would be licensing since thats handled per company (and country of company's resience) and not per figure.

Agreed! I like the subtitle differences between the two molds. I don't mind Ironhide's "diaper" as it's called. I think aesthetically Ratchet's looks better but IH's is toon accurate. I've come to the conclusion that some people are going to complain no matter what.

Let them regret BWAHAHAHA, seriously, complaining over something that hasn't been released yet?
If I'm gonna complain, it not having an updated Megatron for the 30th anniversary.
Keep it coming TT!
So IH on January, Ratchet April? Then June or July might be..........Hound?

Quick regress: Isn't Hound supposed to be MP-29? If so shouldn't he be first? Or am I missing one and Hound is MP 31?

Yeha, so, the daniel exo-suit thing worked well (outside of the face ), but wheelie is slighter than the exo-suit, so I would be a little worried about fragility in the joints and such.

To be fair, though, most of the Masterpiece human figures so far are "but-her-face" contenders.
