not sure if this of importance but if one looks closely on both the box and combiner, one can see what the final product of Groove looks like

It appears the open flaps are not held in place by anything (Velcro or plastic?) Is it true do they just swing free, or are they secured somehow. This is not a deterrent, just curious.

Are you ready for a real left curve? Head designer and public face of Takara (on twiter at least), TF Yuki, has posted the most puzzling silhouette image yet for the Unite Warriors line. It is the unmistakable shadow of the Cylconus/Galvatronus torso paired with limbs. While Takara has made Unite Warriors figures that were only torsos, they were never promoted as being part of a team with a specific configuration unlike the silhouette teasers. With the Cyclonus retool seemingly a Hasbro exclusive until today, TF Yuki accompanies the image with the following:

So we have air raid, skydive, rook and off-road. I guess I'll have to wait and see what they look like before I make any decisions. I am a bit disappointed though because this probably means that Bruticus will be released later than previously thought.

Oh man oh man. I'd get this. If this was a bunch of new decepticon limbs, I'd totally get this. My wallet begs that there be something dumb about it so I don't get it...but i doubt it.

Now I'm interested. I'm trying to think where they go with the characters. When will this be estimated to come out?

I'm backed up til next year for Rodimus, Shockwave and Diabetes.........

They did announce that they were making a Scourge to go with Galvatron and Cyclonus.. Im hoping its made for the combiner. That way, I would have Voyager Cyclonus, Voyager Galvatron, Keep my CHUG Scourge (because hes so damn awesome) and if they make scourge combiner limbs they would officially be my sweeps that combine with Cyclonus.

Im conflicted, whilst I DO want a space shuttle or UAV version of Blast Off, I really dont want to buy the damn blades mold again.. TWICE for Bruticus.. But at the same time I hate that they are using the fireflight mold AGAIN to make the hasbro version of blast off. Had they chose to use either of the other two superion limb molds Id be way more receptive.

Seems like it would just be the previous characters that formed the limbs on hasbro's galvatronus but the rook and off road put me off this could just be a cbiner that has the replacement characters (alpha bravo, off-road, and rook) for limbs...

Well, this sucks, want it for the limbs, but don't need two cyclonus'; kinda clever how skydive can hold the cannon a'la glavatron in arm config

But I knew they were gonna sneak Rook in somewhere (told ya so)

i was trying to avoid Strika being added due to her ,in some universes, being a autobot and i wouldn't find it proper for an all decepticon team

The bigger question is: how much are they re-molding? New heads seem like a must, but will rook have his hand gimmick and weapon, or will they borrow swindles hands, or make new ones?

It could be that TT will just take the high road and release offroad as ruckus, then he wouldn't even need a new head

It would be nice if Takara moulded new hands for the galvatronus combiner so they looked more in line with the art. As for the suggestion that it's made of the moulds that Japan didn't get, well I don't see Alpha Bravo in that silhouette

Haha, they'd probably be as sick of him as we are (especially if they are getting victorion); but technically they are getting him as vortex, head and all

If, on the Takara Galvatronus, by 'his own limbs', they mean, 'another set of repaints', then yes, he seems to have his own limbs there.

Let's see.... I'm seeing an Arialbot for the arm, one leg is another Offroad, and one seems to be a Rook. Not sure what the other arm is... too occluded.

It's skydive and airraid; but unless they imported, they didn't get rook or offroad (I know ironhide is coming out, but if the head stays the same it'll be new to them), they weren't released in Japan (by TT at least) so it could be new to them, since it is a TT release, intended for their primary audience in Japan

That's why this Defensor is a let down to me. all that sculpted detail is not painted whereas the hasbro one is and it looks really good too

Yep, they were extremely lazy in the decision to go 'lazy G1 animation' for his deco

Anyone think TT might design the deco so the combined mode looks like galvatrons color scheme; just make up a bunch of characters and paint them up so both arms would look like his arms, and the legs would look like his legs?

LOL They're doing what I did for Galvatronus, used the replacemnt bots when the original members were released. Obviously I only had 2 limbs but was going to add Rook when I got the Takara set.

As much as I would like that idea I'm not sure what the individual colours would be like. Though generous amounts of purple wouldn't be amiss

Except they're not using a/b, they're making two 'new' characters, but, yes, they are making sure that they release every mold.

When did they announce that? The only scourge they released was Grand Scourge representing the RID character, thats a different scourge. The other scourge rumoured (g1 scourge) is rumoured as a targestmaster for titans returns. So far, there is no announcement for a combiner G1 scourge. If there is, let me know where you found that.

Right, no alpha bravo. Oh well, that puts that theory to rest. I quite frankly have no clue what this will be. It is exciting though and I am glad I didnt succumb and buy Cyclonus yet.
