Well, your wish has been granted. The-Arker just posted the in package images of Legends Class Devastator.
Unlike Takara version where all seven toys package separately, Hasbro version will be all the 7 figures in one package.

I am so pumped for this toy! I'll explain.
***WARNING, POTENTIAL ROTF SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE***
I was in Sam's Club, walkin' over to the toy section to see that awesome 4-pack that came with Sideways, Longarm, Breakaway, ect. As I walked, I noticed something on the TV...was that Ravage? Well, I cried out, 'Revenge of the Fallen!' My two brothers and I charged over to the TV and watched as Ravage leapt over the fence in Diego Garcia. While I admit I was grossed out by him spitting out the tiny balls, I have to admit that seeing Reedman made me amazed. How could he exist in that skinny form? Well, we watched for a while. When Megatron was revived and chatted with Starscream on the Nemesis, I nearly laughed at Starscream's voice.
Then, as we were about to leave, Mikaela runs over "Alice." I wanted so badly to wait and see Optimus whoop Grindor and Starscream, but we had to go. I was disappointed, to say the least.
Yesterday, we went to Sam's Club again, to eat lunch. (We like their food) The first thing I did was run to that TV. There was Jetfire, teleporting them to Egypt. Then, as we ate, I hurried so I didn't miss the final battle. When I got over to the TV again, I saw Leo get zapped by Simmons tazer. Then, I watched Devastator combine. And I saw Bumblebee kill Rampage and rip Ravage's spine out. By then, my dad was watching, as well.
"We'd better go, or I'm going to want to see the rest," he said.
So, though I didn't see The Fallen's death or Optimus combine with Jetfire, I did get to see several awesome battle scenes, the PURE WIN that was Devastator, and Skids's line, "Aw, he's dead. He got all ate up!"
So, I am pumped for this toy, and right now, I'm pumped for ANY Revenge of the Fallen toy in the movie.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
In my defence, it worked (in my humble opinion!) for Sixbuilder, both when he was re-issued and when he was brought to the west.
I can fully understand why people don't want every toy named Devastator painted Green/Purple. Personal preference I guess.

Call me crazy, but I'm guessing anyone here that actually gives two craps about the movie has probably seen it by now...and if by some odd circumstance that isn't the case, it's probably already been spoiled by now. But thanks for caring...

I know it's a 7 figure set but I still think it takes more than 7 to make him. I keep noticing while watching the movie that the arms appear to made made up of multiple vehicles or at least parts. Especially when the left arm is forming it slams into a hand which looks like bulldozer parts.

Not that this Devy isn't pure awesome, but it seems like an easy cop-out, if you've heard the same rumors I have.
The "transforming and combining constructicon" rumors are all false. It's either or, and not both. Also, no more are announced for the rest of the line.

I agree. This is what they should have done with the larger model. Although I think the detail of the individual robot modes is comparable to McDonald's happy meal toys, the fact that they do transform and they even gave us the 7th missing Constructicon makes this a must have.
So whats gonna be the price on this thing ??? shouldnt be more than 50 bucks...

They really ought to call the ROTF version Wallet Devestator.

Yea, it's at least 8 vehicles in the movie...
I'm not feeling this. Legends don't do much for me really.

BTw is it just me or do Overload and Scrapper deserve at least a deluxe release?

Overload a deluxe, Scrapper deserves a Voyager IMO since he had almost as much screentime as Long Haul or Mixmaster, BUT NOOOOOOOOOOO how about we just release some more repaints and throw in a few irrelevant non-screen characters (although Bludgeon's new form kicks all kinds of ass). I mean it's not like Hasbro's bottom line is under threat right now or anything.

I'm pretty confident that we'll get the missing Constructicons as new moulds in the third movie line (alongside green and purple redecos of all the RotF moulds that havn't had them already...). Bottom line is that there's only so much of any one TF toyline that they can get away with having similar alt modes (x number of cars, x number of jets, x number of tanks, x number of construction vehicles etc) without having toy store shelves heaving with too much of the same thing.
On topic, glad that we'll be seeing the Legends versions in the west, put me down for a couple of sets.

Not exactly on topic there but I reckon you're thinking of the original Vanishing Point, not McQueen. The guy's name eludes me as I hope this Devastator won't, I'm all over it.

I actually would prefer the green/purple version. Looks like Japan is getting it. Hope Hasbro follows as well.

I usually don't buy Legends myself but I love this set. I'm glad that I forgot I had this on preorder at BBTS. He doesn't hold together very well when I try to pose him, but he is a hell of a lot better than the $100 brick.
Depending on how much the US release is, I might pick up another set to give hime the G1 deco, instead of shelling out another $55 for the official repaint.
Anyway, Ministator is one of my favorite figures at the moment.
