Taking a closer look at the Scout figure, and with the rumour of an upcoming Universe Drift character, could this be it?
And the Legends figure, perhaps the revival of the Transtech line, being Transtech Optimus Prime?
Of course, these are just wild guesses, and no one really knows for certain! So stay tuned to Seibertron.com for more rumour talk, and of course, the fastest Transformers news on the net!

I doubt it is a revival of Transtech...however, it would be an ideal time to bring in such a concept. If you look at a lot of the Transtech designs they have more than a passing resemblance to the movie characters. It would be a great middle ground line: Universe 3.0 for us old farts, ROTF for the kids, and Transtech to tie the two together. If I remember correctly, the Transtech Cheetor even had wheel-feet...

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu******
That said they do look pretty cool and I do hope that is Transtech Prime.

I didn't like the idea back then, and I still don't now. Yes, I realize some of the robots we've received in recent history have taken cues from the TT designs, but I just don't like the TT designs themselves.
Ugh.

The car looks very cool, very nice car mold. I kinda hope it's not Drift, though... There's so many more characters I want to see done before this comic exclusive joke of a character gets a toy. Even so, if it is Drift, depending on how cool the bot mode looks, I may still get one.
as for the other thing... yes there's a passing similarity to Transtech Prime, but I'm not gonna hold my breath. Would be interesting, though.

Jazz, WheelJack or Overdrive.

I'll guess Wheeljack. The car kind of has that feel to it...very stock-car-ish.

GOod point, but I can't see it as Sideburn. RiD really is one of the more underappreciated lines in the TFdom. Would love to see an X-Brawn with arms that are acutally the same length and don't sport the whole front end of the vehicle mode.
That reminds me: anyone know where I can download RiD eps? I have a hankering for em now..LOL

If the gray one's TransTech Optimus or War Within Grimlock, I'll get it.

Bought the movie Nightbeat whose car mode I liked but the head is horrible. Love Scout cars because they fit nice with the Diaclones.
I'll be a very happy fan if this is a scout version of Drift or Nightbeat.

As for the red mistery car that every body is guessing my be Drift. if they take thier time with this mold, so it can transform 2 different ways into robot, like the classics Sidewipe / Sunstreeker mold. The with some minor head sculpts if could also have alot of uses. Drift, Nightbeat, Wheeljack, Chase, Freeway, Wild ride, Breakdown, & Tracks just off the top of my head.
Mind you Tracks(blue), Deadend (Black), or Breakdown (white) could be pulled off as a clasics 2.0 Sunstreaker / Sideswipe mold. I also hope they bring red alert over as will with classics 3.0.
I highly doubt it will be another rodimus prime, since classics 1.0 had a Rodimus. and classics 2.0 had Rodimus as a legends class. (althought i do hope they continue making the G1 mini-bots as legends class figures).

The grey vehicle... dunno... I would say it's something Cybertronian... maybe Kup?
Posted by Blurrz on October 31st, 2009 @ 8:02pm CDT
No.

It would look pretty nice battling Fracture.

The other one doesn't look interesting enough to get my attention yet.

Grey is probably a transtech...or Kup.

Nah' it's just unpainted translucent plastic. not really clips, just part of the windshield trim.

Huh? No, I'm talking about down on the hood above the wheel well If that's part of the windshield I'll eat my hat.(Luckily I do not wear a hat... >_>) Besides, the windshield is blue and the rectangle in the clip depression is decidedly green.

Drift looks pretty cool in alt mode. Then again, concept art can be pretty deceiving, without looking at the final product. The use of cheap plastic and bad QC could easily ruin everything.
Just have to wait and see.

Then again, I seem to be in the minority.
I also didn't like any of the Japanese trilogy shows, and preferred Beast Machines to Beast Wars.

as for the second, The first thought that hit me was WW Grimmy, but again too soon. but honestly Transtech now?? Just don't see it.

I would LOVE to see it be Universe Wheeljack. Jazz would be cool too, but there just haven't been enough Wheeljacks lately.

Blurrz wrote:Hot Shot... What?
No.
Why not? It could easily be an update of the mold (minus the mini-con). Forget the proposed paint job and Hot Shot's original alt mode mold isn't far off it (if he was made to more realistic scale).
*shrug* Just sayin'...

Maybe they're considering reviving the line now that the alien look of the movie-verse has gone down so well? Maybe THAT'S the new cartoon series? Why not? They've already done a lot of character design work from before it was scrapped... hmmm...
