Hasbro will be showing off some new toys in April but of course, some terrible images just had to be posted online before the big reveal. In the image below we can see some parts of Transformers Kingdom leader Galvatron and even less parts for the upcoming T-Wrecks, which is a redeco of Kingdom Beast Wars Megatron. That redeco was said to be part of the Transformers Selects line but there has been no confirmation of that so far.
The two images were posted in different places online and were taken down as well but as of now they are still up on Autobase Aichi.

Galvatron is the wave 3 leader for the Kingdom line and will likely be out in late summer.

Sort of, I believe it was a grinning variation of the regular Megs head, on par with the differences in the standard or smirking seeker head.

nope, he was a straight repaint, however this one should have a different head. Supposedly it should be the grimacing vintage bw megs (does anyone else cringe and feel old calling beast wars vintage now?) face, which a few off kingdom megatrons seemed to get by accident.

I really want to see more of galvatron. looks like he has sculpted wheels on his hip skirts. maybe hes got a full on tank mode as opposed to the cannon?

T-Wrecks's toy may have had the same head as Megatron, but since that head was so different in the cartoon, T-Wrecks' fictional appearances drew his head toy-accurately with the mutant head pieces included as an optional battle mask for him, something that Kingdom Megatron's head lacks.

Sorry, I should have clarified I was speaking on what the leaks have indicated we would be getting on the new figures, not the original toys or show. We've seen the head variant on a leader megs already.

Roddy is up for pre-order on AmiAmi and Anime-Export

https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail?scode ... 4625&rank=
https://www.anime-export.com/index.php?product=51344

And it seems Takara's pricing is a bit higher. 14,300 yen. discounted for pre-order to 9980 yen by AmiAm and 9100 Yen by Anime Export

Not sure I'm willing to pay 140 bucks for Roddy. That's MP pricing now.

If Hasbro's MSRP is indeed $80, I'll get it. but not paying anything over $100 bucks.

If one is willing to place the arm armor elsewhere, two of the Cliffjumper mold will fit along with his big gun, three with the gun. I tried putting Bug Bite between back legs and upside down head but not enough clearance.

So you are calling me simple? Just kidding... ;) I know I am

At any rate, I'm not sure how much of a difference it would make, but it is a nice thought. Especially seeing as how the original Transformers really didn't have price points per se, or they just had a lot, and many only had one or two toys in that size. ( Fans later placed them all in different size class based on height) it couldn't hurt just to let it all go. I mean it's not the same, but I know many people are complaining about the reisssue Basic Rattrap and Deluxe Cheetor having the same price when they were originally sold at 5 and 10 dollars respectively.

Were those just flukes though? Like 1 in 20,000? I just went through about 30 listings on eBay and can't find any that have the grinning face (which is the damn face he should have had to begin with!!!) ... not that only 30 listings is a good sample or anything, just feel like if someone found the variant they'd be putting it up on eBay and asking all sorts of crazy money for it (as they should).

It's kind of crazy that the Basic Rattrap now costs the same as the Deluxe Cheetor, especially since they don't come in a case together.

After a certain point, clearing out the mothballs, dredging the mold out of storage and making any modifications necessary for compatibility after 25 years of assembly line innovation is probably a more relevant cost factor than materials cost. Also, I'd imagine rattrap's spring driven automorph gimmick would be the sort of thing that 25 years of aging wouldn't play nice with, and would need touching up, if only to insure it complies with any changes in safety standards. Alternatively and/or additionally, if it helps, think of it as a discount on Cheetor, who they otherwise would have charged more for. :)

Yeah that was a fluke. I have never heard of anyone else finding that face sculpt. So yeah, it is the one that we will probably see on T Wrecks.

Second run was a while ago (and done by Takara Tomy, Hasbro just distributes), anything that's been showing up on Pulse since has been leftover stock from their warehouse. Takara Tomy also recently put a bunch of stuff on Takara Tomy Mall as a warehouse sale.

Takara Tomy prices are much higher than Hasbro's. Sky Lynx was also 14,300JPY. Jetfire, however, was 19,800JPY!!

The scuttlebutt is that Hasbro had to reengineer the Rattrap mold from the ground up, rather than this release being a simple reissue of an existing mold.

Im not sure about CW itself. I know the entire PotP line was leaked a year in advance. I mean we know pretty much what all of Kingdom wave 3 (standard retail) will be, even though no official product shots/pics of the toys have been shown, so I guess there is improvement there. Also now with selects and so many retailer exclusives, I guess the leaks are a bit more hard to come by.

Also just curious, I was in a Walgreens the other day, all they had were 2 Airrwaves (although that is the first time I've seen any ER anywhere since mid-January). I'm not even sure if they are getting any Kingdom toys, or has there been a rumored Exclusive for Walgreens yet for Kingdom?

Based on my obsessive Walgreens stalking when ER Bluestreak was showing up, I would say for the next year, Walgreens is the place to go if you want to see any ER deluxes. They are always about a year off on current stock by me. I saw all of Siege waves 2-4 back when I was on the hunt for Bluestreak.

Yet just like with scalpers, most members of the fandom keep fueling them because they keep paying them attention by posting them on websites long before they're even confirmed to be true or false.

As for Kingdom, my trip to Wal-Mart was fruitful today:
