He will be mine!

But ... there must be an explaination for the clear missile-racks? Maybe lights?

Why is the head revealed in his tank mode?

Otherwise, breathtaking figure.

So his head sticks up in alt mode? Check out the second picture. They should take care of that. :)

While he looks cool, the deluxe version actually looks more realistic. I'll stick with that one.

I will definantly get Leader Devastator(I'm too used to calling him that).

Because he's mis-transformed. Whoever transformed him also forgot to flip forward the panels of the front of the tank, the ones that cover the treads...

On the subject of Mis-Transformations, shouldn't the company that MAKES the toys know how to transform them?

I know he's really Brawl, and calling himself Devestator was just a problem with a change when the movie was completed but I just like to call him Devastator.

Posted by Raymond101 on July 3rd, 2007 @ 5:57pm CDT
You know, both names fit him pretty well. Devastator for his sheer power and what he does, and Brawl for what he does against the Autobots and his physical strength.

I do wish there were some larger Autobots rather than just Optimus... it seems they are a little outmatched in terms of toy selection.

Same here. They should have made a Voyager version without the lever gimmick that they like to put on Leader Prime and megatron.

If Brawl doesn't play as big of a role as Barricade, Bonecrusher, or Blackout do, then I really can not justify myself buying a leader class of him. I know, I'm such a wet blanket. :-P

I like the mis-transformation while in tank mode. At least I hope it is a mis-transformation.

He doesn't look to me as being more detailed than his deluxe version, sure hope I am wrong.

It is a mistransformation, he was properly transformed when displayed at Botcon:

Cool. Im a bit disapointed as they didnt place the cannon on the right arm like they did for the deluxe version. Now my fantasy of making this Megatron cant come true.

Hasbro doesn't take the promotional photographs. They're outsourced. So if the person doing the photography doesn't understand the transformation, it gets shot wrong.

Learned that on the tour.

Since in the game they pit Jazz against Screamer and Blackout alone I'm guessing he can hold his own... To bad I can't get passed that patently unfair fight.

I like it though. They need more big cons. More in scale with the bots.

I took Starscream out first, because he doesn't regenerate health, you have to take Blackout down before he transforms, it can be done but you have to do it quickly.

Now this is right. I mean think about it. He's a freakin tank. Easily as big as Prime. I will have to get him for my collection.

I like it simply because of the scale. It makes much more sense to have him leader class size cuz he's actually a huge tank in the film. Hopefully they'll have Bonecrusher go in2 Leader Class as well

Blackout needs a Leader-Class figure! The mob demands it!

But Brawl, um, I will pass.

He needs more detailing like Leader Prime for me to justify a $40 price point.

But the scale is great.

Yeah - this just looks so not worth it.

let me count the ways:

1. What's with the tank cannon doing an armada megatron hip thing? The deluxe figure is far superior with the big mo fo cannon on the arm thing.

2. Those tank treads SHOULD be rubber. BW Transmetal Rampage had rubber treads and he was an Ultra. Leader Class Prime has rubber tires - he's a leader class. Brawl SHOULD have rubber tank treads instead of those huge blobs of plastic on his shoulders.

3. The detailing on this leader class figure looks like a carbon copy of what we got with deluxe.... which was really great for a deluxe - but looks minimalistic on a leader class figure...

So - I'm gonna pass.

Wiat until September/October, he, like all of the other movie figures, will be on clearance at your local BigBoxMart.

Seriously.

Possibly, but I'm an impatient SOB.

And to those of you who say he's no different from the Deluxe model...you're wrong. Aside from the cannon's placement, he also has claws on his legs, that do something.

I'm sure there's even more gimmicks in there somewhere.

Well, of course, any transformer does the exact same thing: Transform. Well, except for those bastard Actionmasters, but that's neither here nor there.

Yes, you can get the Delux version for $10, but believe me, there is NO comparison in these toys. The Leader size one is quite impressive, it lacks the arm flaws of the Delux version, and is actually somewhat in scale.

You may want to at least take a look at the Leader one in person before making a choice.

While he looks a little more like the movie model, and he's sized right for how friggin big that mofo was... he doesn't look nearly impressive enough for me to want to shell out the extra cash when I already own the deluxe, plus I like the deluxe's non-movie-accurate long barrel on the arm.

Because brawl was freakin' huge in the movie they gave him a leader class so he's be sized a little more correctly.

Then why didn't they do that to Bonecrusher or especially Blackout? Blackout is the biggest con but his figure is the size of an deluxe and Bonecrusher is supposed to be the same size as Prime.

I'm guessing it involved a spinning dartboard with several decepticon names on it, and a man with a dart, Brawl just happened to get darted.

Bonecrusher and Blackout have received far better treatments in the toy line than Brawl has, with his shoulder problem.

Blackout has durability issues, but at least he's a Voyager.

I really want to get this. And or the desert camo version. I'd prefer it to be a darker green than it is, like it is in the photos (this looks more like lime green than Nato/US army camo-green). I hope it gets released in the UK because so far I can only find the FABs. I've got Brawl in FAB at he is really fun to play with, but not very detailed. I've had to buy the deluxe on e-bay.

Please be released in the UK!!! Or I'll do......something...?

I think leader class brawl looks great but I'm not sure about the tank gun sticking out of the middle of his body. The reason he was called Devastator in the movie was because they hadn't yet green lighted the second movie were they are talking about introducing the construcons, and so they didn't have time to change his name to brawl before the final release of the film, much like change skyfire to jetfire in the g1 era.

Yes, he came in the last battle, barely killed any humans, and was destroyed by BB. So your point?
