Yeah - this just looks so not worth it.

let me count the ways:

1. What's with the tank cannon doing an armada megatron hip thing? The deluxe figure is far superior with the big mo fo cannon on the arm thing.

2. Those tank treads SHOULD be rubber. BW Transmetal Rampage had rubber treads and he was an Ultra. Leader Class Prime has rubber tires - he's a leader class. Brawl SHOULD have rubber tank treads instead of those huge blobs of plastic on his shoulders.

3. The detailing on this leader class figure looks like a carbon copy of what we got with deluxe.... which was really great for a deluxe - but looks minimalistic on a leader class figure...

So - I'm gonna pass.

Wiat until September/October, he, like all of the other movie figures, will be on clearance at your local BigBoxMart.

And to those of you who say he's no different from the Deluxe model...you're wrong. Aside from the cannon's placement, he also has claws on his legs, that do something.

I'm sure there's even more gimmicks in there somewhere.

Didn't Hasbro just inform us during the Botcon panel that they were not sure if they would be releasing a leaderclass Brawl? Looks like the right hand is not talking with the left hand.

Well, of course, any transformer does the exact same thing: Transform. Well, except for those bastard Actionmasters, but that's neither here nor there.

Yes, you can get the Delux version for $10, but believe me, there is NO comparison in these toys. The Leader size one is quite impressive, it lacks the arm flaws of the Delux version, and is actually somewhat in scale.

You may want to at least take a look at the Leader one in person before making a choice.

While he looks a little more like the movie model, and he's sized right for how friggin big that mofo was... he doesn't look nearly impressive enough for me to want to shell out the extra cash when I already own the deluxe, plus I like the deluxe's non-movie-accurate long barrel on the arm.

Then why didn't they do that to Bonecrusher or especially Blackout? Blackout is the biggest con but his figure is the size of an deluxe and Bonecrusher is supposed to be the same size as Prime.

This will also be repainted in Desert Camo, we saw that at BotCon.

I'm guessing it involved a spinning dartboard with several decepticon names on it, and a man with a dart, Brawl just happened to get darted.

Bonecrusher and Blackout have received far better treatments in the toy line than Brawl has, with his shoulder problem.

Blackout has durability issues, but at least he's a Voyager.

This Brawl is a definant pick up for me.

I like Leader-class Brawl.

I really want to get this. And or the desert camo version. I'd prefer it to be a darker green than it is, like it is in the photos (this looks more like lime green than Nato/US army camo-green). I hope it gets released in the UK because so far I can only find the FABs. I've got Brawl in FAB at he is really fun to play with, but not very detailed. I've had to buy the deluxe on e-bay.

Please be released in the UK!!! Or I'll do......something...?

I think leader class brawl looks great but I'm not sure about the tank gun sticking out of the middle of his body. The reason he was called Devastator in the movie was because they hadn't yet green lighted the second movie were they are talking about introducing the construcons, and so they didn't have time to change his name to brawl before the final release of the film, much like change skyfire to jetfire in the g1 era.
