Our own Optimus Frimal has found some new images of the Ultimate Bumblebee figure from this summer's Transformers Movie, though we have seen images of this figure before, the real news here is the first image of the Leader class Brawl pictured on the back of the Ultimate Bumblebee's box.

This is the very first image we've seen of this figure, you can see it, along with the photos of th Ultimate Bumblebee, in this thread over at tfg2.com

It will be mine... Oh yes... It will be mine...

By mine, I mean Ultimate Bumblebee.

Seem to be a lot of huge figures in the movie line.

Going to be hard on the wallet of any completists looking to buy into the line.

Not that impressed with Brawl. Looks just like the deluxe version but with a few more joints. And i think Bumblebee's face is going to scare most kids. He looks like a bugged out Terminator. I think alot of these toys are going to scare most kids. But thats a good thing. It means more TF stuff for us fans.

So, there will be 14 leader, 14 voyager and a lot of deluxe-class figures in the movie set... Better more than none...

I just feel like this Bumblebee is nice but they could've made is done more to make it movie real. I've always been impressed with the alt modes of transformers but the days of less then stellar robot modes is passing away.

It just looks a bit bulky since I have nothing but the movie transformation to compare this item to and he looks stocky or something. He needs to be slimed out more. I wish they couldve done more to the front of the his chest transformation so that it doesnt look like a slab of car on his chest.

Articulated fingers. Classy.

Ultimate Bumblebee doesn't do much for me, but hopefully kids will go for it. Could be a popular Christmas present if the film does well. I just hope it doesn't have the same 'teething troubles' of its nearest rival, the Robosapien, or returns period is going to be nuts.

I don't really like either one of those. No plans at all to even look twice at Ultimate BB, and Brawl is ugly so I'll stick to the deluxe.

Bumblebee looks like an amazing toy. My only problem with the toy is the lack of design in the chest.

I'm digging the deluxe version of Brawl so I'll get both for sure.

How does a leader class Brawl even make sense? :???: According to Blackout's bio, he is the largest of the Decepticons, so why not make a leader class figure out of him? :-?

It's nice, but also kinda meh. While that look looks brilliant on the deluxe version, you kinda expect more detail and moving parts with a leader class figure.

Roboto has a point.
Maybe it woulda been better to make an Ultra-sized Brawl, and a leader-class Blackout.

Either that or make Blackout a supreme version. That would be insane :P :D

I bought the Deluxe Brawl and I'm kinda disapointed. I find the shoulders dont stay in place easily, and his legs and cannon are too bulky.

I will probably pick up the leader brawl but I agree that he should've been a voyager class and blackout should be the leader class.

It bothers me how small my blackout is.

so correct me if I am wrong, but it appears we will get a FAB of each character mentioned in the movie, as well as a deluxe sized, then a few ultras (Blackout, Ironhide,Ratchet) and then a leader class of each bad guy too? :???:

That doesn't make alot of sense, well it does for the amount of money they want to make from these toys. So you could almost have a scale fight with each class size of the figures and keep them all seperate.

Leader class was 12" tall or taller right?
Voyager is 6" or taller
Deluxe is less then 6"
Scouts or FAB are 2" or maybe a bit higher.

Does this all sound right? :-?

Brawl is right for leader class and Blackout is right for Voyager class.

Sure their scales aren't 100% correct for display purposes, but it works better for play value.

It would be hard to play with a leader-sized helicopter, but a good leader-sized tank is long overdue.

Nobody knows for sure, sure he's a lesser character with probably not that much screen time, but I'm sure he'll be in the movie for more than two minutes.

No way ILM would spend hundreds of man hours developing a complex CGI model of a TF that is in the movie for so short a time.

Have to wonder if the "meh" is more related to a bad pub photo as opposed to a bad figure...I'll hold judgement.

The 2mins were ment sarcaly, since we haven't seen him jet, just one tank and the toys.

Kind of.

Mini-cons are about 1.5" high generally.
Legends are about 3".
Basics are 4-4.5".
Deluxes tend to be 5-6", with a couple being taller.
Voyagers are usually about 7" and more bulky than deluxes.
Ultras vary but usually end up about 8".
Leaders tend to be around 10" and Supremes 13-16".

It often surprises me to see modern Leader toys stand eye-to-eye with '86 Metroplex. I could have sworn that thing was massive when I was a kid... oh right.

Ultimate Bumblebee's robot mode looks like fail due to massive car parts hanging off it.

And how many Leaders can they possibly make? Isn't that price point called 'LEADER' for a reason?
Re: First Image of Leader Class Brawl! (131712)

Ultimate Bumblebee is so bulky because he's animatronic and plays music. The hands look amazing, but that's hardly a reason to get a Transformer. :-P

IF I get these (cause Hasbro is just planning on draining our wallets this summer) I believe I'm just gonna keep them boxed. That is unless I just wait till clearance time and see if I can double up.

Ultimate Bumblebee detailing is outstanding... Again, bar the head I am very impressed, and would seriously consider a purchase. Saying that however and doing it are two different things, Im guessing he will have a price of around AU$160 or even more, which is far too much.

This is the first Movie toy that I feel the robot mode looks better than the alt mode. For an Ultimate level, the alt mode looks like cheap plastic with gaudy seams, which detracts from the toy. The robot mode on the other hand has a lot of detail.

right, i've been willing to give this movie a go, and the toys too (ultimate bumblebee still looks ace), but i've just opened my peview figures of Prime and 'Scream, and i'm sorry, but they are a pile of $#!T. They are utter junk! If you think there is anything redeemable in them, there must be something wrong with you! Starscream broke in two in my hands while i was trying to transform him, and when i had them both transformed, they looked even worse that the most pointless bos ever - rocklords! I want to give this movie and figs all i can, but i can't - they are $#!T designs and even $#!TT3R toys - Brawl looks like a piece of (R@P, and if you are any kind of TF fan, you'll agree with me. Bot wise, the only one i'd go near is Blackout, maybe Prime (if it was purely mouthshield up). The rest are rubbish, and you must see that - Barricade's arms are the ENTIRE side of the car?

I'm sorry - i guess i just miss the days when 'bots had character and actually looked decent in both forms - these toys suck big time.
I feel so ripped off over these preview figs - if you have not bought them yet, please for the love of god do not - they are terrible.

I know Bay left Hasbro screwed toy wise on these designs...... I'm just absolutely gutted, and I feel sorry for the next generation of TF toy collectors......

..... rant over......

still love my TF brethren...

Brawl suffers from the same thing Leader class cyb Starscream did, he's just a bigger version of an existing figure. No real difference, just bigger.

BB looks like ass, an overpriced and ugly ass.

Actually, if you really take the time to look at the picture, you'll see it's not the same toy at all.

Look, his legs are bent, yet his feet are straight, which means he has balljointed feet like the Leader Prime. He looks to have moveable fingers and better paint apps. The angle of his head suggests some movement, which is already more than the Leader Megatron toy... He has an extra cannon on the side, and his sculpting job is generally better.

Remember, this is just one photo, and it's a stock photo no less, they're always in awful poses and usually mistransformed. I'm sure once we get some really good photos of this guy - the actual toy, no stock photos - fans will be trampling each other for this one.
