Going to be hard on the wallet of any completists looking to buy into the line.

It just looks a bit bulky since I have nothing but the movie transformation to compare this item to and he looks stocky or something. He needs to be slimed out more. I wish they couldve done more to the front of the his chest transformation so that it doesnt look like a slab of car on his chest.

Ultimate Bumblebee doesn't do much for me, but hopefully kids will go for it. Could be a popular Christmas present if the film does well. I just hope it doesn't have the same 'teething troubles' of its nearest rival, the Robosapien, or returns period is going to be nuts.

I'm digging the deluxe version of Brawl so I'll get both for sure.

Maybe it woulda been better to make an Ultra-sized Brawl, and a leader-class Blackout.
Either that or make Blackout a supreme version. That would be insane

He looks like a bugged out Terminator. I think alot of these toys are going to scare most kids. But thats a good thing. It means more TF stuff for us fans.
I don't know about the kids...the bayformer faces give nightmares to anyone

I will probably pick up the leader brawl but I agree that he should've been a voyager class and blackout should be the leader class.
It bothers me how small my blackout is.

He only has two minutes of screen time?

That doesn't make alot of sense, well it does for the amount of money they want to make from these toys. So you could almost have a scale fight with each class size of the figures and keep them all seperate.
Leader class was 12" tall or taller right?
Voyager is 6" or taller
Deluxe is less then 6"
Scouts or FAB are 2" or maybe a bit higher.
Does this all sound right?

the FAB jazz I saw at Wal-Mart was probably like 5"

Sure their scales aren't 100% correct for display purposes, but it works better for play value.
It would be hard to play with a leader-sized helicopter, but a good leader-sized tank is long overdue.

Nobody knows for sure, sure he's a lesser character with probably not that much screen time, but I'm sure he'll be in the movie for more than two minutes.
No way ILM would spend hundreds of man hours developing a complex CGI model of a TF that is in the movie for so short a time.

Have to wonder if the "meh" is more related to a bad pub photo as opposed to a bad figure...I'll hold judgement.Lord Crump wrote:It's nice, but also kinda meh. While that look looks brilliant on the deluxe version, you kinda expect more detail and moving parts with a leader class figure.

The 2mins were ment sarcaly, since we haven't seen him jet, just one tank and the toys.

Kind of.
Mini-cons are about 1.5" high generally.
Legends are about 3".
Basics are 4-4.5".
Deluxes tend to be 5-6", with a couple being taller.
Voyagers are usually about 7" and more bulky than deluxes.
Ultras vary but usually end up about 8".
Leaders tend to be around 10" and Supremes 13-16".
It often surprises me to see modern Leader toys stand eye-to-eye with '86 Metroplex. I could have sworn that thing was massive when I was a kid... oh right.

And how many Leaders can they possibly make? Isn't that price point called 'LEADER' for a reason?

I'm sorry - i guess i just miss the days when 'bots had character and actually looked decent in both forms - these toys suck big time.
I feel so ripped off over these preview figs - if you have not bought them yet, please for the love of god do not - they are terrible.
I know Bay left Hasbro screwed toy wise on these designs...... I'm just absolutely gutted, and I feel sorry for the next generation of TF toy collectors......
..... rant over......
still love my TF brethren...

Greed wrote:Brawl suffers from the same thing Leader class cyb Starscream did, he's just a bigger version of an existing figure. No real difference, just bigger.
Actually, if you really take the time to look at the picture, you'll see it's not the same toy at all.
Look, his legs are bent, yet his feet are straight, which means he has balljointed feet like the Leader Prime. He looks to have moveable fingers and better paint apps. The angle of his head suggests some movement, which is already more than the Leader Megatron toy... He has an extra cannon on the side, and his sculpting job is generally better.
Remember, this is just one photo, and it's a stock photo no less, they're always in awful poses and usually mistransformed. I'm sure once we get some really good photos of this guy - the actual toy, no stock photos - fans will be trampling each other for this one.
