Found a good translation of his bio:

A mysterious warrior resembling the Autobot supreme commander Convoy. It is able to transcend space and time and has set its sight on the myriad Convoys and Optimus Primes of the multiverse. In addition to its own atrocious unmatched combat capabilities, it is also able to force combinations - controlling warriors or drones with the ability to combine literally as easily as he does his own limbs. The large, scarlet blade it wields, the "Matrix Breaker" is not only an instrument of physical destruction but is also said to be capable of severing the bond between the Autobot supreme commanders and their Matrices of Leadership.

He basically sounds like the same kind of character as DOTM Darkside Optimus Prime, with the addition of being able to force others to combine with him.

And it's cool how the bio both includes and distinguishes "Convoys" and "Optimus Primes".

I was going to say some nice things, but its already had too much of that

I actually like the Prime/Motormaster mold. Its not bad. Its not optimal, but its not bad. This is a good repaint. I really like the look of the combiner and I may have to order this just for that. I don't have a scourge so this will be a great edition. I really hope they get some good variety of limbs coming out.

But really, it aint the worst Prime.

Well, for the people who wondered if/how TakaraTomy was gonna release CW Optimus Prime, there's your answer Him being Grand Scourge, as in a specific black clone, should come as no real surprise as CW Optimus Prime had some cues from Energon and Grand Scourge came from Superlink, the Japanese version of that particular line.

He looks good, and the giant cleaver is icing on the cake. Now we really need figures of his drones. We have Alpha Bravo already, so...

I've been resisting that Elite Guard black first edition Prime (TF:Prime) for some time, and will continue to do so until there is a proper Nemesi/Scourge release! Grrr.

The way you painted the chest goes a long way to explain why the original toy has those seemingly pointless grooves running across the fake chest windows in the first place.

Why thank you It's not finished yet, a little untidy, and I haven't finished the torso mode. I was going to use Super link Grand Scourge as reference for the torso, for obvious reasons. Now that an official version exists though, I'll try and do something different.

Fantastic use of the beast hunters cleaver, I like how TT are being so free in re-purposing weapons by mixing them around different figures! It's a nice release, and a great homage! keep digging up those lesser known characters TT

I hope so. He may not have much character, but him combining and being a dimension-hopper tickles me in the right places. Come on, e-Hobby, release some limbs too!

This is the exact way I feel about this...I hate this molds proportions, but this deco/BFS has me truly compelled to pick this up no questions asked!

Yeah I noticed that too for CW Prime. Guy has alot of Homages. Hes Sort of G1 ish in his transformation, but also has a very Machine Wars/ THunderclash looking alt mode (Which had a similar Transformation too.) His Supper Mode has touches of PM Prime/ Energon Prime and the unreleased Turbomaster Supreme leader Hyperdrive, And he has the chest detail like Laser Prime/RID SCourge. Hes a Mega Mix of Primes.

Man I'm loving Combiner wars!!

Hmm the Teams that could be done.. So far all G1 Scramble City teams are being made (We all KNOW the combaticons are coming.), Plus Devistator. Have "bonus" Leaders with Optimus, Grand Scourge, Cyclonus/Galvatronus, Ultimate Optimus (White version). TO round things off the Fan built team (which will probably be a fembot... NICE)

Next year will see more combiners, "POSSIBLY" Inducing Skylinx as roumored, Predicons, Seaicons, Terricons, Computron.

For bonus recolor teams, I'd like to see The Jet Corps/Preditors retooled from the Areobots With Skyquake as the leader and they form Scrash. Road Corps/Turbomasters with yet another CW optimus repaint and retooled into Thunderclash and they Form Hyperdrive. Guard City, Battle Gaia, Autobot Ruination (based on Wreckers Fall of Cybertron team), and Bonus leader Last Stand of the Wreckers Pyro and bonus Limb Last stand of the Wreckers Rotorstorm.

G2 Team colors, City Camo Ruination/Combaticons, and lastly maybe BW2nd Seacon recolor (if the seacons are in fact made).

Man would be such a clash of the Titans in my apartment if all of these teams get made.

Now the only problem is... I got a Spare Motormaster to make into Combiner Wars Nemesis Prime/Scourge. Hmm What do I do with him now? XD Eh I'll give him to my god sons or Nephew.

With that bio there's a good chance this guy will turn up in the TFCC store. That story sounds a lot like a TFCC story line and in the same year that the BotCon theme revolves around Axiom Nexus. I kinda want the figure, but I wish they sued silver instead of gold.

The part about "Convoys" and "Optimus Primes" really got my attention. I've always mused over the idea that G1 Convoy and G1 Optimus Prime aren't the same character since their stories diverge quite drastically. Occasionally their stories run congruent, but after season two of the cartoon they really went different directions.

I'm sure they weren't thinking that deeply, though. I'm guessing they just didn't want the name to be used interchangeably and now have to say something like that to refer to pre and post 2007 characters.

A great idea would be to make a second Stunticon team with the following repaints


Optimus into Toxitron who has already been a honorary Stunticon in Animated


Groove into Oilslick to give the Stunticons a Motorcycle which I'm surprised has not happened yet.

I think the odds are good since Heatwave has got a toy recently and has been in a recent G1 comic as a cameo.

Optimum, what do you have against the paint? Just curious. Is it because its not the "traditional" look for Scourge/Nemesis Prime?

Sorry to post 2 things in a row, but does E-hobby deliver to the US? Has anyone ordered from them before, or do you need to use other places like BBTS or TFSource? I just don't know 'cause I very rarely get Japanese figures.
