Question though, what do you call Headmasters, the small figures that turn into heads or the larger figures as a whole?
I feel Hasbro was smart with giving a distinctive name to the small heads, calling them titan masters, so as not to confuse over that also being the name of the larger figures, which it isnt.

The "heads" of course. That's why I mentioned Hb and Takara really did give them good head impressions. Now if the background of them figures be changed( originally, Hb storyline is that man and machine are finally working together into one ala diaclone(?) as in Rebirth and the Marvel Comic) with the figures now being totally mechanical or something, then why have a head stuck on your back? Still a headmaster. Maybe Hb no longer has the TM on the term Headmaster?
Then Takara creates that Planet Master background with them, the Headmasters being at first non transforming Cybertronsbefore the transtectors, the figs are still Headmasters in my opinion which means nothing of course in the grand scheme of Primus.......

That appears to be Cybertron/Galaxy Force Metroplex. No clue why he's there at all, but if they're re-issuing him I can't complain.

Galaxy Force came out in 2004 - would be a strange time to celebrate it, especially with much more significant and popular series like Micron Legend.

On topic, TT's cerebros is so bland and uninteresting, shame.

Totally disagree. Fortress looks like he stepped right out of the Headmasters cartoon.. I like him so much better than the mishmash of colors on Cerebros.

Once again thats the toon accuracy which also happens to be the same colours found on the G1 toy. That si my main pet peeve with the G1 toy so I am not fond of it here, but I understand where it comes from. Its really cool that people have options like this which isnt the case in any other toy line.

Thanks!
Looks like Takara is going with the preliminary shade of purple while Hasbro is going for the final shade, which I like better. Though I do wish Hasbro painted the head, especially the crest. I'm kind of surprised Hasbro didn't go with the toy colors, but I'm glad they didn't.
I just watched Emgo review our favorite unstable leader and find myself wishing Hasbro had spoken with him first because that face crest plate thing needed to extend to the arms to have any attempt at cohesion.
Also, I think the chest might get retooled to have an actual head for a platinum release a few years down the road. I can't imagine one of the companies not doing something for some anniversary. I don't think they would release it again with the Titan Master gimmick at that time. But I could be wrong.

So does it mean in short form, one character with two different perspectives at presenting the character on both sides of the Pacific Ocean?
Anyway, the Cerebros head is just as cool as the JP version....I hope someone sells him separately in ebay sometime in the future (reason how I acquired both Encore Master Swords for my G1 Fortmax ( I love you ebay .......sometimes)

If you read those translations out loud, quickly and confidently, as if they were actual English sentences, instead of slowly and laboriously, trying to decipher some cogent meaning from the absent syntax, it makes it all the more hilarious to the ear.

Takara's has exactly two shades of blue and Hasbro's gun is gray as well. If you like the Hasbro version better, all the power to you... but this doesn't really make sense.

Actually Hasbros gun is silver, the gray on Takaras is my one and only gripe about this figure. Not enough to stop me from getting it though.

This is a rare instance where I hope to end up with both the Hasbro and Takara versions of the same figure because one nails the original toy appearance and the other looks just like the Sunbow cartoon.

Get used to it. Hellscream isn't gonna let go what he doesn't like.
Just went back and looked again at the vehicle mode for LG Blurr. It looks really striking! I kinda forgot how good it looked.
I just wish the gun was silver like the Hasbro one.

My grudges are eternal. But, I had to go back and look at the hasbro gun, they actually molded it in blue plastic, and painted it silver, maybe they thought a blue gun would be too much blue - the irony is painful

I don't really see why not, it looks the part in vehicle mode, and the bot mode has a slightly feminine feel to it, there's been rumblings about a nautica from blurr, so why not more fembots? I'm game

If they remold it like Victorion's individual bots as far as having thinner arms and all that jazz, I'd be all for it too. I just hope they retool the pelvis, hip, and feet sections a bit too. However, I am not sure how they'd make a fake head section on top for her since hers was kinda big, and it's supposed to fit in the legs. Also, I am not sure how they'd do the chest section for robot mode. Maybe they'll retool that section altogether, so that the windshield section is part of the sled piece, and the car roof section attached to the windscreen becomes the breast section? It'd be best if she doesn't have a windscreen for a chest.
Posted by Wolfman Jake on July 10th, 2016 @ 9:59pm CDT
Since he's already been retooled into Brainstorm, and another retool of Blurr as Nautica from IDW is likely on the horizon, I'm hesitant to get behind yet ANOTHER retool for Elita-1, though it does look like a fantastic opportunity, given her onscreen alt mode from the original cartoon. Maybe, if Nautica turns out to be an extensive retool, to the point that very few parts are shared at all, like we've seen with some of the better CW/UW molds (for instance, Rook and Swindle), I'd get behind another use of the same base "skeleton" to get one more iconic female Transformers character in the mix.
