Takara has designed a brand new box art for this giftset and it is set to release at the end of November 2010.
It is also expected that this combiner will be the metal version instead of plastic version.

No offence to the G1 toy because I think it is one of the best G1 combiners but the box art promises so much more than the toy can deliver.

I can just picture this guy standing on the bridge of khazad doom with Magnus the White facing him off shouting "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!"
ok...I think I have been working too many hours...man I need a break. I actually thought that was funny.

Maybe this guy should pay attention to the sides and possibly the back to where it shows the actual toy.

Amen! You beat me to it. I heard this argument from adults all the way back to 1984 about how I was getting "cheated" out of my allowance money. My answers still apply: 1) even as a 10-year-old I can tell the difference between a painting and a photograph, and 2) that's why I have an imagination.

It better be the metal version for the price they are asking - $200 in the States and 15,000 Japanese yen over here!!
That's twice what Masterpiece Prime is going for (7,000+)
I know it's the biggest combiner + it's a group of deluxes combining but for the price I'm expecting the metal version!!

Same here. My wife plans on getting it for me for Christmas, plus the wings from CD. I can't wait....

Mine's a late birthday present, only late because he's not out yet. She's pretty good to me. I'm skipping the CD add-ons though. I don't want to support them because I disagree with their marketing and pricing.
