Some interesting images have surfaced over on
ACToys that appear to be the rumored BotCon 2012 attendee only add-on figure Octopunch. As you can see in the images mirrored below the figure is a repaint of
HFTD Voyager Sea Spray in
G1 Octopunch's Pretender shell colors with tentacle deco. The figure is packaged the familiar convention style baggy labeled BotCon 2012. This is consistent with the list of potential BotCon 2012 figures we published earlier, which stated this figure will also feature a new head mold.

BotCon has
tweeted a concept sketch for the BotCon 2012 convention exclusive
Metalhawk. We got a teaser earlier this evening when
BotCon 2012 registration went live and all six figures where more or less revealed. Metalhawk is a repaint of
Generations Thunderwing with a new head sculpt. As you can see they are going for his Pretender shell look in robot mode. We will have to wait until next week for Metalhawk's full figure reveal, but for now this sketch gives us a good idea of what the new head sculpt will look like.

The official
BotCon 2012 page has updated with the reveal of the "Heroic Decepticon" Soundwave. This is the third figure revealed behind
Classics Gigatron and the
Evil Autobot Tracks in the "Invasion" box set.
Botcon has confirmed via
twitter what many have hoped for since seeing the teaser art for this figure. There will be a headband available for sale in the club store at Botcon. They go on to say that there was no way to mold the headband onto the head to do it justice. Also confirmed via twitter that there have been tweaks to the head mold so Soundwave can look straight ahead. Please enjoy the pics mirrored below or at the
Botcon 2012 website.
