An auction on eBay is giving us our first look at Legacy Evolution Leader Dreadwing. The Skyquake repaint doesn't have any new parts on the figure itself, but does replace the gatling gun with a proper canon just like the original toys. The colors are not cartoon accurate and there's a lot of debate within our Energon Pub Fourms about just where Hasbro got the colors from, but that's going to take an official reveal to get the truth about. Thanks again to Sowndwave76 for letting us know!
Earlier this summer, one of the rarest Transformers pieces hit eBay and sold for a staggering $26,815.00! That item? The unreleased Generation 2 Menasor/Stunticons set! That one certainly turned heads, but the seller z75sales wasn't done, not by a long shot. He's acquired a rather sizable collection of items from an ex Hasbro employee, items that contain rarities, prototypes and mock ups just to give you an idea.
In fact, the same seller just recently posted an auction for the unreleased G2 Megatron, the mold that became G2 Dreadwing and Smokescreen.
z75sales posted a couple of teaser videos on YouTube showing off this massive assortment of shipping boxes, filled with Hasbro and Kenner (which became a part of Hasbro several years ago) products that have yet to see the light of day. The second video even showcases an all black and orange prototype of Beast Wars Transmetals Optimal Optimus!

The figure will be redeco/retool of the soon to be released Transformers Generations Deluxe Megatron, which is based on his stealth bomber body from IDW Publishing's Transformers comics. When Bill and I were trying to sell the book of Transformers animation models that would eventually become Transformers: The Ark, we created these pitch documents to hand out to editors at IDW and to folks at Hasbro. I stumbled across three, and thought that there might be some interest. These are unique items, part of the process of how a book gets made and sold, and I'd love to see them find their way to good hands. You get one of the three items, they're all identical. I'll be happy to autograph it if you like.

Double Punch has some minor paint chips as well as some wear to the toy and minor sticker wear, typical of this particular toy and of a toy of this age. The "arm-flailing"/attack mechanism on his back randomly makes the right arm work. The left arm no longer moves when the button is pushed. A small, barely noticeable polyband was wrapped around the inside of the upper left shoulder joint to increase friction so that the arm can be posed (it used to loosely drop down). First the bubble:
The bubble is firmly attached to card.
It is super bright.
There is a crack on the right side of the bubble as can be seen in picture 3.
Then the card:
It is super clean.
It is bright....no fading!
No big scratches or something. (I would have shown that with a pic)
It is not completely flat...there is what I call: a little "wave" in the card.
All original stuff, I do not sell or collect reissue or KO stuff,
and I never will cause its all fake in my opinion.

There's not much else to say about this figure other than it's awesome! One of my favorite Transformer toys/molds of all times and one of the first to feature ball joints, along with the Laser Rods from G2. Heck, it's even got that "new fangled light piping" for the eyes!

Starscream includes 2 wings (left and right), 2 fists (left and right), 2 missile launchers, 2 short missiles, 1 long missile, 1 landing gear, 2 vertical tailfins (left and right), 1 horizontal tailfin (right), and 1 horizontal tailfin (right) that belongs to an unknown darker grey Starscream (perhaps a Diaclone or foreign version). He is missing the left side horizontal tailfin and 1 long missile. Please note that the blue vertical tailfin on the figure's right hand side in jet mode has been superglued from the peg snapping off. It is possible to fix this but the piece has been glued on for years and displays fine since there is no reason to detach the piece. Starscream also has some yellowing on his arms and around the cockpit area which is noticeable in the pictures below.
Thundercracker is only missing 1 short missile. He includes 2 wings (left and right), 2 fists (left and right), 2 long missiles, 1 short missile, 1 landing gear, 2 vertical tailfins (left and right), 2 horizontal tailfins (left and right), and 2 missile launchers. He's in fairly decent shape.
Skywarp is only missing 2 long missiles and 2 horizontal tailfins (left and right). He includes 2 wings (left and right), 2 fists (left and right), 2 short missiles, 1 landing gear, 2 vertical tailfins (left and right), and 2 missile launchers. He is missing 2 long missiles and most of his stickers. The head has trouble staying in place in robot mode because the middle head/jet front piece is loose.
Thrust includes 2 wings (left and right), and 1 fist (left). He is missing 2 missile launchers, 2 short missiles, 2 long missiles, 1 fist (right), 1 landing gear, and 2 rear tailfins (left and right).

Megatron is a little loose but he stands well on his own and his arm can support the fusion cannon. The chrome on the gun is a little worn. The stickers need to be replaced on this figure. Once the stickers are replaced, ol' Megatron will look brand new. The tips of the gun are covered with orange duct tape which you can remove.

Rippersnapper includes his grey gun. He is missing his blue gun.

From what I understand, Hasbro licensed this mold from the Japanese company that made this toy to use as the one-eyed logical Decepticon we all know and love. This is an extra Shackwave that I'd picked up along the way. This one is not in the best of condition. The figure's right leg has the typical loose knee problem that plagues this toy, which might be able to be repaired. The black wire that attaches to his left arm is worn, which is also typical of this toy. Part of his lower right torso is broken just above his right leg. The audio works when you attach a battery (which is not included) which you can hear/see in the YouTube video below. The lights in the broken left hand laser do not work. The battery cover and gun barrel attachment are NOT included. I would recommend this item for someone who's looking for parts to complete their Shackwave.
