Seems less likely to me considering I never saw one actually in a Best Buy store and I regularly checked five stores for a few months before giving up. Personally, I'd blame it on poor distribution.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.
First-Aid wrote:The common thread here seems to be the total lack of appearances of the toys from a good chunk of BB stores around the country. I frequently checked a dozen in my area (north central IL and southern WI) and never found a single figure. This definitely looks to be a total lack of distribution on the part of Best Buy. The potential here for sales was significant especially with the success of the movie and toy lines. If i were Hasbro's legal department i'd be looking at breach of contract with Best Buy for failing to distribute properly and thus- with a large quantity of returned figures being assumed- costing Hasbro hundreds of thousands of dollars in potential sales.

I dunno dude. When you see them side by side, Metallic Ratchet is definately way nicer looking. If you have the movie Ratchet MISB, I definately recommend ebaying him and grabbing a metallic one for yourself.
