Initially, I was going to skip this entire line. Nowadays, I'm finding the Autobot Warriors slightly but strangely appealing.

:-?

I'm so conflicted.

So why didn't they just call him "Wheelie" instead of "Fixit" anyway? His vehicle mode looks like Wheelie, his color is the same, he even basically transforms and moves around in robot mode by doing an ACTUAL wheelie.

...yeah, yeah, I know. He's the repair guy, his name has to be Fixit. I think there's probably a support group for kids' cartoon characters who have that name foisted on them by now...

I found warrior Grimlock today. I brought him home, opened him up, transformed him, and promptly fell in love with the toy. What a fun transformation. Then I turned him back into a robot and started playing around with his articulation.

The first elbow worked just fine, but the second one immediately puked out the plastic block that makes the ratchet work. It appears that the plastic in the forearm that the block pushes on is too thin, so if that block wedges at all it just breaks the arm and comes right out. Which sucks because this toy is really fun.

The bright side is now he has a floppy dino-foot that clicks like he's tap dancing when I shake it. He still stands in dino mode just fine, and he might not spend much time in robot mode anyway, but I thought I should give a heads up.

I must just have good luck, because I've bought two GLs now and neither really have that leg/arm problem.

QA must go back and forth a lot.

Wheelie turned into a lawn mower of doom?

Besides, that's not his alternate mode in the show according to bios. He turns into a swiss army knife consisting of multiple fix-it tools or something like that. >:oP

It's not really a quality control thing as far as I can see. The little ratchet piece just takes a lot of force to make click, and if it happens to get wedged in wrong it can break the leg. I've been holding the other leg right at the joint and that seems to work okay. I also stuffed some foam in the other leg and that creates enough friction to hold the elbow in place.

Hasbro Transformers Robots in Disguise (2015) Tiny Titans Wave 2 Image

Postby Va'al » Sat Jan 10, 2015 4:08 am

Motto: "Till All Are Pun!"
Thanks to fellow Seibertron.com user Sabrblade, we get a look at site sponsor RobotKingdom's new listing for a second wave of Tiny Titans figures. While the first wave, as shown in our galleries and news reports, were predominantly Robots in Disguise based, it appears as though the second batch only includes two characters from the series (Terrashock and Quillfire). All the others are G1-esque characters drawn in the style of the new animated series, with a double dip on Jazz and Bumblebee - check out the mirrored image below!

Wondering if Ultra Magnus, Topspin, Cyclonus, Superion and Sharkicon will get newer Rid toys. Or will some CW and Generations gets titans toys.

Would love to see a Voyager or Leader toy for Cyclonus at cheap Retail prices.

Guessing Rid Fixit is the Beast Wars version of Rattrap.

How is Jazz a double-dip? I don't think he's in the new RiD series like Bumblebee is.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

Wow! I'm really confused. So Tiny Titans isn't just RID2015 guys, or those characters will be in the show? I know no one knows, just thinking out loud.

Could Ultra Magnus be proof of the rumored Gen. Leader class toy? >:oP

This would explain why Cliffjumper and Prowl were more like their G1 versions. I guess every figure, regardless of series, will be getting new card art drawn in this art style.

I didn't think the old Robot Heroes mini-figures were popular enough for them to try this gimmick a second time. Personally, I got a kick out of them and have the complete set of figures from their first time around and will probably get most of these new ones even though I have no room left to display them. I'm just curious as to whether these will be sold individually or in two packs like the original RH's were?

And for those wondering, I'd say don't get your hopes up of all, or hardly any, of these TT's being indicators that bigger figures will be included in the new RiD line. Remember, the RH's covered multiple lines not just the lines that were in current production at the time and if I remember right TFA was running at some point during the RH run and we didn't get any mini-figures based off of that line.
I'm a cigar chomping, Energon guzzling, crotchety old bot that's tough as nails, two days older than dirt, can out grouch Ironhide, out-complain Huffer, leave Bluestreak speechless with a single glare and make Grimlock back down in a stare-off. If you're nice, and extremely lucky, I may only tell you to go blow it out your exhaust pipe!
