I'm not seeing things, am I? The lower legs of Lightspeed are definetely from the Wheeljack mold, aren't they?

Yes, they are. That's the only thing I don't like about this set.

To be fair though, CW Wheeljack has by far the closest vehicle mode to G1 Lightspeed out of all the available car molds in Combiner Wars...

As much as I hate the mold, I will admit that from the combined-peg on down, it's my favorite. But above that peg though, where the hood of the car separates, it's my least favorite.

As much as I hate the mold, I will admit that from the combined-peg on down, it's my favorite. But above that peg though, where the hood of the car separates, it's my least favorite.

I could care less about the hood, but I hate the elbow down.

On the other hand, the leg mode is acceptable to me, mostly because it's just a rectangle that holds together fairly well (unless it's Wheeljack you're talking about).

I voted the Brakdown mold worst of 2015, I hate it. BUT I am a huge sucker for mold diversity and I would rather end up with a retool I dont have (wheeljack) than one I do have (both streetwise AND Dead End AND Wildrider). So it will be more fun to mix and match if ever I want to later (or my kids, when they come of age).

I hate the leg mode because of that stupid knee-pad thing that can either fold all the way down and looks like a tumor or food at a nearly 90-degree angle and look like a broken bone.

I agree so much with this. Hence why I dont want to end up with too much of that base mold.

Love the Breakdown mold, love it as an arm; go both him and sunstreaker equipped to some combiners; I would've loved to get a well painted wheeljack, and I hate that TT and hasbro's computrons are so different, d|ck move guys, d|ck move

The stunticons never made it to the UK so I may never experience them in their original forms (unless I get unlazy and order online) so the only way I can form a proper opinion is to look at what they were retooled into

Hey now, I absolutely loooooove Off Road. My childhood was the 90s anyway, so no intercoursual unconsention there. No, I just hate how lame Breakdown is in robot and leg mode. My hatred for him has subsided a little as I've played with him more and, like I said, I 75% like his arm mode and 100% like his car mode. So let's use math to figure this out:

100% awesome divided by 4 modes; 100/4 = 25; so 25% points to each mode. Meaning that a perfect score on one mode is 25 points out of 100. Here we go.


Car mode: 100% = 25
Arm mode: 75% = 18.75
Robot mode: 10% = 2.5
Leg mode: 0% = 0

Grand total: 46.25

So I guess I should start saying I 46.25% like him.

Break down is fine in vehicle mode. Its mainly the robot mode's dumb hips and dumb legs and feet and dumb arms that makes him.... dumb. Otherwise he's fine.

It's getting easier and easier to get both. With all the differences between Hasbro and Takara they're pretty much different combiners. Gotta say though I'm not loving the Rook remold like I thought I would. I think the alt mode is going to look unfinished with his hands just blatantly poking out, at least hound/swindle covered theirs with the jeep canopy.

Me too. This is a far more complete retool of the silverolt mold than the Hasbro version. That head looks awesome, it is so much different than the Superion head. And I love their take on Afterburner as an arm. It really seems like Hasbro and Takara are giving that arm different official transformations. And that Strafe looks awesome!

Its on BBTS now but I cant see the listing. Can anyone tell me if it has a price that is similar to the standard releases of TTmall exclusive releases?

They're asking $160 but this isn't a TTMALL exclusive so I'd just wait for an import site.
