So, did Takara do a redeco meant to go with a toy sold exclusively in Hasbro markets?

I had to reread that last sentence several times to get what was going on. You explained it well, its just that it would be ...so ...odd

Yeah, Phaser has no Blast Master in Japan, and the opposite is true for the US. Japan did get the Payload mold in the form of Micron Astrotrain though.

You know, I never understood why they called it astrotrain. I get that one of Astrotrain's modes is a shuttle, but come on. The word "train" is a big part of his name, and speaking of Big, Astrotrain is usually a big guy. I just found it wasn't the best character to reference.
Similarily, the G1 episode "Triple Takeover" had Astrotrain create a small team of trains called the "Astroforce".william-james88 wrote:JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:william-james88 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Though these are just placholders of the Hasbro toys (as mentioned in the news post), it's interesting to see that Adams apparently doesn't come with Payload/Blast Master, even despite Takara turning Swerve's Flanker/Sky High into Blast Master's partner Phaser. Spay-C?
Oh wait. He's a Gobot. Nevermind!
http://counter-x.net/gobots/reviews/series1/spay-c.html
A long-serving Guardian, Spay-C was present during the first Renegade revolt, the capture of the Gobotron Fortress and the planet's take-over by Cy-Kill and the Master Renegade.
She was later appointed administrator of Gobotron's Spa Moon, and would be part of the escort for the captured Fitor (making an unwilling journey to Earth when under Cy-Kill's control soon after).

Yah it's odd that we've had so few space shuttle Transformers. But not as odd as the complete absence of a bus Transformer or a garbage truck Transformer (prior to TFA Wreck-Gar). Rescue Bots should come out with a School Bus Transformer and there should totally be a commuter bus Transformer of some sorts.

The sad part is Machine Robo had both busses and a garbage truck, and the latter was used for a Gobot: Fly Trap.
There's been no lawnmower/riding mower TF either.Seibertron wrote:JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Seibertron wrote:JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Only 3 real shuttles, and one of them is white and a dino. Not much of a choice there

In addition to those, an Insecticon or Beast Wars Fly has been high on my list, as well as a Beast Wars Zebra (though I'd be content with a repaint of Mach Kick).

For a another beast, there's been no platypus TF too.Seibertron wrote:Sabrblade wrote:And no mailman truck TF either.
No mailman truck specifically but we have had at least 1 delivery truck Transformers (ROTF) that could be nicely customized into a UPS or FedEx truck (though the general shape would be a better match for UPS).

I wouldn't consider a platypus as well known as a Fly, Zebra, or a Bus though it'd be a welcome addition if they ever do a return to Beast Wars.

For that price, roughly $95, I'm strongly considering canceling my BBTS preorder and switching to AmiAmi. But I've never ordered from them before and am unfamiliar with their shipping costs and such. How good are their shipping costs to the U.S.?fenrir72 wrote:http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/review?scode=FIGURE-010089&page=top%2Fsearch%2Flist%3Fs_cate3%3D986%24s_originaltitle%3DTransformers%24pagemax%3D40%24getcnt%3D0%24pagecnt%3D1
