For members of Club Grayskull, an announcement of a hero--- and villain was sent out yesterday. Rumors are floating around that the second figure will be the Starscream Armor Scareglow, but no confirmation or official images have surfaced as of yet.

The only thing that runs in my mind right now is that OP got He-man to finally put on some pants. Not even Megatron got Skeletor to do that.
Definitely more for the He-man fans. I think the designers had a lot of fun with this. They went deep in the well if Starscream got paired with Scareglow of all characters.
Still, THE most disappointing crossover for me as He-man was an early childhood fav and I was hoping for something catering to a TF fan out of this.

Mattel's Club Grayskull has posted official images of the Starscream Armor Scare Glow. This figure is part of the MOTU Classic play pattern where parts can be mixed and matched between bucks. The Starscream armor is added onto a Scareglow buck, that according to packaging still has the glow in the dark features. Additional accessories include Coronation gear (crown, cape),and a set of nullrays that will provide Starscream's signature wings.
The figure is currently available for preorder via Club Grayskull at$33.00 ($42.99 if you need to sign up for Club Grayskull) with a release date of May 8,2026. The earlier reported Optimus Prime He-Man armor is also available to Club Grayskull members here with the same price and release date.

Starscream/Scare Glow's price must have been a glitch, it's now the "normal" $33.
Of all the TFxMOTU figures, Starscream looks the most like a kid going to town with a set of Hero Mashers.

Sorry- entirely my bad- Club Grayskull was included as a $10/yr premium. I am not a huge MOTU guy, so I just saw the price on Mattel's site, and did not realize they had already had the membership added onto the price of the figure,

Scareglow. I mean I get why they chose him. The ghost thing. But wow, it really doesn't work. Starscream's bright colors just aren't doing him any favors. I think this one is the least successful out of them all. The two these just fight each other.
Now that I'm over my disappointment over what it isn't I think I like Skeltron the most. The clashing aesthetics work the best where where they go all-out on the most bombastic elements of both villains. Namely the cannon. If I were to get non transforming Transformers and had to choose just one of this set, this is the one I'd get.

100% with you. The only one with any appeal to me is Skeletron- everything else seems like a cheap Halloween costume

The problem is who else would have worked.
Clearly none of Sekeletor´s minions work for SS.
Beastman? Triklops? TrapJaw? Merman? Nope....
EvilLyn maybe...
I am calling a Shattered Glass Prime Armor Faker though.

Possibly unpopular opinion: Some cross-overs shouldn't exist.

Wait, are these 2 releases locked away behind a membership wall?

EvilLyn easily, lol. More popular character, both are second in command. And, here, you have two villains with a skull face going on. Why repeat the theme? Although he does glow in the dark, so there's that I guess. And you lose the coronation gear with EvilLyn.
Faker would probably look really good. Blue skin on purple armor. Or blue skin on black armor.
I dunno why they went THIS route, though. Because you're just talking about which character works best mashed up with which character and not about the figure itself. Other crossovers are "character X is now in MOTU." Just make them that. Figure out a reason they can't transform.

Wow.
That is SO much better than a new, unique transforming Transformer figure that actually gets distributed to retail stores.

To be fair these are Mattel figures, not Hasbro's so there was little chance of anything really transforming in this line. They probably will end up in stores, though. We still haven't seen Hasbro's side of this.
