700 pounds of ketamine were confiscated by Thailand authorities. These drugs were found in what is said to be lifesize Transformer robot statues. It is unclear if those are the same statues shown in the image, since those are not lifesize, nor could they hold this much product.

This explains why Optimus is so violent in the live action films But how did Bee REALLY loose his voice?...

If those aren't the same statues then it's weird that they would just have random statues brought in for a press conference.
The article says they were actually hidden inside the bases which are probably those big black things in the foreground wrapped in police tape.

DeathReviews wrote:Cute how the blurb euphemizes these dangerous substances by calling it 'product', as if it were somehow legitimate merchandise. They're illegal drugs. That's why they were concealed, smuggled, and then confiscated after they got caught...

Doesn't seem like slang in the normal sense. It's more like a typical dodge used, when folks who know they are up to no good try to disguise it with dodgy turns of phrase.

As the guy who wrote the article, I can tell you that I was using it in the slang term. That's all the truth there is to it.

Are you trying to position yourself as tougher on crime than other seibertronians and media outlets, or did the ketamine identify itself by a pronoun that made you uncomfortable?
Solrac333 wrote:That's a lot of energon.
Come to think of it, energon has racked up some ambiguous drug connotations over the years, starting out as distilled energy that affects robots like alcohol if they over-energize (foreshadowing Futurama?), then being depicted as glowing crystals that TFs can O.D. on. Since energon cubes can be made out of dang near any energy resource, maybe you could use illegal drugs if you had a ton or so, but they'd have the same "unstability" as the ones made from that meteorite. It would probably work best if you used Headman's "spark".
