The Predacons are Cybertron's versions of Dinosaurs

Prime Shockwave? Is it just the FOC version?

Deluxe Class
Bumblebee with Hawkbow (loaded with weapons ... looks awesome)
Soundwave & Ravage with Thunder Talon
Wheeljack with Falcon Spear
Lazerback with Toxic Strike Blaster

Bumblebeeeeeeeeeee! Wheeeeeeeeeljack!

Ripclaw with Military Officer Kreon and Ripclaw Kreon
Bumblebee with Skystalker + 2 Kreons (Bumblebee is a 4x4 vehicle)
Trailcutter vs Grimwing
Windcharger vs Corhada

How do you lose "Trailbreaker" as a trademark? Also, Cohrada?!? Where the hell did that come from?

Transformers Generations
Different sizes for Generations
Introducting Transformers Generations Platinum Edition ... coming out late 2012/early 2013
Remolded and recolored Energon Omega Supreme (new head with flip down visor, new claw hand)

Innnnnnteresting. Hopefully that means some new Voyager (maybe even Ultra) CHUG.

Energon Optimus Prime in G1 Optimus Prime color scheme

Energon? Nice choice...

[*]Beast Wars or "who knows what can happen" in 30th anniversary / 2014

Huh. Interesting. Actually interesting.

[*]Teased that Bruticus in G1 colors at retail?

Yeah, that mold needs a repaint.

[*]Keeping close eye on which characters from IDW comics are popular ... might translate as toys. Stay tuned!

Can we have a Chromedome, Swerve, Skids and TAILGATE please?

I was really hoping for more out of this presentation. However Omega Supreme has me very excited and I see potential in Predaking too.

Guess Hasbro won't be getting a lot of my money in the new year.

I'm trying not to get too excited about this stuff as whenever I do get excited I ultimately feel let down by the finished product.

Is the Energon Omega redeco the Year of The Snake (not that we know what that looks like)?

I have this feeling that while we may see the Predacons in the show (and thus have toys of them), the Autobots and Decepticons won't be wearing that crazy spike armor, and are just remolds for the sake of filling the line. That said, I'm totally getting that Soundwave for the Ravage, and the new Predacons.

I think Trailbreaker is now owned by a car manufacturer. It happens. As for Cohrada, it's a reference to this guy

Yes it is. Both Omega and Optimus are the Year of the Snake edition figures.

It looks like Hasbro is pulling out all the stops for Beast Hunters: all the non-Predacons are major retoolings! I wonder how I should work this out...

And the US packaging will shrink like it has already shrunk in Europe. Lovely.

Until 2014, I will be praying.

I like a lot of what I'm hearing. Platinum sounds like a Collectors' line. It's about damn time Hasbro!

Yeah, that's what surprises me.

Not-Sinnertwin looks fun, but advertising "dragon heads for hands" seems a little too self aware, given that it's not a popular design decision. I'll eat my best hat if there isn't a Doublecross repaint later down the line.

The Cyberverse stuff is all nice but it's not really what I'm interested in.

NOT liking Bumblebee and Wheeljack STEALTH FORCE XXXXXXTREME!!!!, and look forward to the wave being made of 3 Bees, 2 WJs, 2 Sinnertwins and one of that poor Lazerback guy who actually looks pretty cool. Soundwave looks alright for a retool too.

Voyager Predaking: pretty pointless if there's going to be a leader version and if he is canonically a big guy.

Kre-o: Even I have kind of lost interest in these and I loved them to begin with.

That Omega Supreme looks pretty cool, especially since I never got a previous version of this guy. If this is a collector version rather than a version advertised to kids Energon's Fatty Prime was a bad choice given the lack of fan-love, and the number of times he was released before.

Great coverage and pictures Seibertron! I'm very interested in some of your postings during the Q&A. How exactly did they tease about a US Smokescreen release?

Also, is there a Hasbro booth set up after the panel that will display the actual figures from the slideshow?

From what I understand, they're not retoolings. They're new molds. At least, that's what I thought they said.

Someone asked about it, then Jerry said something to the effect of "hmm ... he might look good as a deluxe figure. Do you guys think he would look good as a deluxe figure?" It was a typical tease answer.

Also, is there a Hasbro booth set up after the panel that will display the actual figures from the slideshow?

to the best of my knowledge, no there is not.

I see an awful lot of similarities between the new toys and the RiD molds though, especially in Soundwave and Bumblebee's chest.

Can't say I'm crazy about the direction Beast Hunters is headed as far as the non-Predacons are concerned, but it's not like I really cared about the Prime line before. Might get some of the more interesting Beasts.

The Kreon Micro-changers look to be greatly improved.

He'll almost certainly be released at this point. If anything they'd just stick him in the new packaging.

Bumblebee and Soundwave look like the same molds to me, with extra accessories. I (sarcastically) like how Hasbro's using this as an excuse to release the same characters AGAIN instead of giving us figures of ones we still haven't seen.

I also like (again, sarcasm) how Cyberverse Airachnid has pretty much the same articulation as the Deluxe. Total fail.

Anyway, I'm skeptical but not against this line. As we can see there will still be vehicle TFs, so I'll pick up any new characters I'm interested in. No interest whatsoever in buying new versions of the same Prime characters I already have though.

Universe Platinum sounds cool as long as they aren't exclusives that are ridiculously difficult to get. The GDOs are okay but everyone's having a heck of a time trying to find Wheelie. If they had proper even case assortments and decent stock levels, it wouldn't be a problem.

wow. look at all of those shelf warmers. i will get maybe 2 or 3 of these. what a horrible line. you know beast wars show may not have had that many characters on the show. but at least the toy line had a plentiful selection. this is pathetic.

Out of curiosity, how does that Omega Supreme measure up to the WfC/FoC molds?

Yes yes YES YES!

Oh man all those retools are GORGEOUS! I have a total weakness for spiky armor, and I'm getting a total Monster Hunter vibe all over the place! DAT WHEELJACK MAN!

Also, anybody else notice Roadbuster Bulkhead's Dovahkiin helmet? :D I'm sold on it, Legion Bee, probably Smokescreen, and Airachnid for sure(so SO much better than the deluxe)! As well as Deluxe Wheeljack, oh MAN! Deluxe Bee even looks AMAZING. I'm so glad I passed on the original now (snagged Dead End though, because that's a sweet, sweet mold is toxic orange and green).

And OMEGA FREAKING SUPREME! Energon Optimus looks great too, but dat OMEGA SUPRME! :APPLAUSE: :APPLAUSE:   :BOT:

Hasbro, you blew my mind!

/fangasm

Lazerback?

Allow me to get Lazerback and Laserbeak mixed up, thx.

Love, that, Wheeljack. I'll get dat Soundwave for the Ravage. :D

Teased Deluxe Smokescreen. Hell yes. Now give us Insecticon and Shockwave and you'll make my day.

I'll have to see Predaking's scale with the others in the show before I make the decision to go with the Voyager or Leader class.

Bumblebee looks.......cool. I love his crossbow.

Hmm. I like the Cybeverse Airachnid, despite her being rather inaccurate. I won't get my hopes up.

Beast Hunters Deluxe Wave 1 is looking cool. I might just pick them all up or resort to eBay, because I only want Soundwave & Bumblebee for their accessories, in which I'll put with others.

I'll also be picking up that Cyberverse Smokescreen. The Apex Armor looks.......okay.......it shouldn't be with Breakdown, though. Ah well, just like the Energon Driller shouldn't be with Knock Out.

I'll be damned if I didn't already have the original versions of Omega Supreme and Optimus.

I hate to admit it, but that Optimus in G1 colors would make a great stand-in for the forever-empty spot for a G1-based Optimus to duke it out with my Classics Megatron.

Omega Supreme is just.... beyond words. I would have never guessed a slight remolding of the head and claw. Would look nice on my Classics shelf. Now give us a Decepticon to duke it out with him!

This "Platinum Edition" intrigues me. The lover of Classics figures within me is Starscream-ing for G1-inspired characters.

Could really care less for the Prime line at this point. Again, the stupid price spike is forcing me to be very selective with my purchases.

Still crossing fingers for a domestic release of MP Soundwave plus Casseticons.

Images of OS/OP's packaging, please?

G1-inspired FOC Bruticus? Sign me up! Can't stand the retail's current colors. Means I can give my wallet a break after Halo 4.

Just thinking about 2014's "big surprise" just makes me want to go all-out Stewie Griffin and build a time machine.
