If the Topspin and Twintwist really are repaints of the TR versions,I may get them. I have the TT Legends versions because of their ability to interact with the Big Powered set, and having more variants is always good. The fossilizers also interest me. The rest I can skip.

Wait...was G2 Leadfoot ever a Wrecker?

I know DOTM Leadfoot was...could Topspin and Twintwist be redecoed in DOTM colours?

And the fossilizers...a new head and spine turns Paleotrex into a spinosaurus, and I guess a new head, tail, and longer legs turns Ractonite into a mammoth?

He was a Wrecker in Regeneration 1, and considering he's in the current Wreckers comic as a currently-unaligned character (and as the Mirage repaint this is supposed to be), he could end up becoming a Wrecker again in that.

Just so it's clear, the Hasbro Titans Return versions of the two can interact with Big Powered as well. Sakamoto just used the toys' existing ports to come up with unique combinations that he did. No retooling was done to the Legends versions.

I am aware. I just got the Legends versions because of the Targetmasters. Hopefully new Hasbro versions will be easier to obtain.

Not sure if you can skip them since these characters will all be in multipacks. It's not indicated what each pack includes, so you'll probably have to get the ones you wanted to skip if you want the fossilizer.

I never had the Titans Return Topspin and Twin Twist, so it'll be nice to have another opportunity to get them. It's a shame there's no mention of a new Whirl or Roadbuster, it would be nice to have the full original Wrecker line-up.

Or I could just make a deal with someone here to split the cost, or get the ones I want separately on eBay as I've done in the past.

It would be nice to think that they would sell similar themed bits together, but if battle across time taught us anything, it is that Hasbro will put any mixed group together. But never underestimate the fan market to break these sets up to get just what we want.

Bah. I saw the headline and got all excited thinking we might get, say, a good Rack n' Ruin toy or a new Whirl. I'm pretty happy with Thrilling 30 Springer, TR Topspin/Twintwist, and MMC Spartan for those characters, and don't consider the Fossilizers or Bulkhead as Wreckers.

I'm curious about this Springer...
Was this who the leaker was referring to when it was mentioned Hastak is trolling with a repainted version?
Will it simply be a Springer with no "battle damage" paint apps?

I don't think it's springer they meant with that

They were referring to twintwist and topspin, who are not being rereleased in tr/legends colors, but instead a new deco for each mold, implied by their responses to people's guesses as being Saltman X/Z decos (white/dark green instead of white/blue for topspin, yellow/grey instead of blue/white for twintwist)

Additionally, the list provided was for the base molds being used, not necessarily the same characters. So it might not be springer, but instead someone else using the siege springer mold.

So then my guess that they'll be repainted into Whirl and Roadbuster could actually be correct? Interesting.

It could also be something like Pyro and the Guido Guidi G1 Drift

I would definitely get them if those were the mold reuses.

Why would the "Hasbro trolling" redeco be the Jumpstarters in South American colors when the "Hasbro trolling" redeco is supposed to be a redeco of something "in the CORRECT colors"?

Salt-Man/Robot-Man Z/X don't strike me as what most people consider to be the Jumpstarters' "correct" colors.

Oh, no, I guess that part of my initial post wasn't clear: the leaker who gave the info is intending to paint the "trolling" release into it's "correct colors" on their own post-purchase, it isn't releasing that way.

That's the 1st time I've seen Guidi's Drift. If we got a white version of Siege Springer, I'd buy it instantly. Same with a battle damage free Springer himself.

I am hoping from the legacy character graphic shown above, that a Twin-cast is in the works. I mean we have 2 (technically 3) Decepticon communicators, would love to match that on the bot's side.

I posted this in the Kingdom thread a few days ago (since that's where I found the screenshot) and figured I'd post it here too, but this screenshot from the SS86 presentation the other day sure looks like it has an Omega Sentinel redeco of Siege Omega Supreme in it

So I glanced at what the TFW leakers have shared over this weekend, as I wasn't following as actively as usual, and this one is too much of a potential laugh/shitshow not to share. So.

A good number of y'all want a new G1 Breakdown to be a component for that new Menasor, yeah?

Another good number of y'all also want a new Prime Breakdown to go with the Legacy Knock Out, yeah?

...how would y'all feel about both being the same figure?

And to be clear, the leaker that mentioned this said they have not yet actually SEEN said figure, they just were made aware from their source that this is the plan, and so far that leaker's provided info has had an almost spotless track record, so we are in for a RIDE.

Not entirely spotless, and also I believe that this leaker has also retired from giving actual leaks. That said, someone else did point out that Wreckers Breakdown which is based on Prime's seems to have been G1-ified, and not just a straight transplant like he had been in IDW1. I'm taking it with an entire salt mine's worth of doubt because there's no way they'd do that to Menasor if they're going full Sunbow

Overquoting to say that such an hybrid Breakdown is impossible. Especially because both characters are completely different and have completely different vehicle modes.

If a PRIME Breakdown is ever made, he will only be some bull$hit pretool of some other character like P. Bulkhead and P. Arcee.

I was skeptical originally, but that's also how they did the special teams in Combiner Wars, introducing a limb that didn't fit the G1 origin. In those cases though, there were ultimately later releases of the missing G1 limbs as exclusives. It would be very weird to me if they didn't provide some option for a more traditional Breakdown, even if it's a redeco of another Stunticon that doesn't have the precise alt-mode.

Edited to add: consider too that the Sunbow Menasor has Breakdown as a leg with the underside facing forward. Assuming they stick with that design, in combined mode at least, it would only look out of place from the back. Still weird as a team outside of combined mode, though.

Honestly, my hope is that the Stunticons are similar to POTP Predaking where you can't switch the jobs, so leg bots are leg bots, arm bots are arm bots, but you can switch position, so they could be swapped from left to right. This would mean that even if current rumors/leaks are right about mainline Breakdown being Prime inspired, we could maybe get a repaint/head remold of Wildrider as G1 Breakdown and he could take his place as a leg
