Great news for Singaporean fans, Hasbro is coming to town and will be bringing some new reveals. Some of the reveals are for the Legacy United line but we also have a reveal for a transforming Dragon which will be made for the lunar new year. From the outline, we can see that it takes some cues from the previous Steelbane mold, in terms of the transformation and where the feet end up on the dragon mode. We have images of both below for you. The news was posted on Facebook.

Good to see some “Year of” exclusives coming back, I was always a fan of the previous ones, especially Year of the Goat Soundwave. Interesting to see that this might be a new mold for the occasion, we’re severely lacking on decent Dragonformers

There was something about the Steelbane mold I really liked. It was a bit janky in places but it was an interesting figure with a unique transformation. I have both him and Skullitron as well as the oversized and slightly enhanced KO of Steelbane. I'll gladly welcome this new one as well. Shame the wings are gone but that was some of the main jank the mold had. Looks like they're being replaced by a shield that should store on the back of the dragon mode according to the artwork.

Another shame is that there's no redeco of leader Dragonstorm but that's obviously not the kind of dragon for this exclusive. It would just be nice to get another of that mold and one that maybe won't break.

Regardless, I guess anything would be better than getting an Optimus ExPrime redeco for this. That "dragon" mode leaves a lot to be desired.
