Know who wins?
Edward Cullen.
'cause a woman who is stuck writing like a teenager made him uber-awesome and even if someone could beat him, she'd create time travel and re-write things to make Edward even more uber-awesome!
Stephanie Whatsherface is awesome like that!

Hehe, none taken.
The reason I created this thread in the first place, is because people tend to (in any match created featuring Twilight vampires), instantly argue that the vampire loses, simply because they dislike the characters.
People being biased in the debates, annoy me. If people are biased they should stick to voting and/or a single comment. Thus, this thread to, despite my own dislike of the characters, show what the characters are actually capable of.
They do have a few distinct weaknesses (namely Fire, and raw superior power), but for the most part, Meyers actually succeeded in making a nearly unbeatable (at least by opponents in the same general power level as themselves) race of vampires.
The main problem (and main reason that the Twilight vampire would win in most matches against opponents of equal or inferior power) is that people generally see matches as 'to the death'. And since the sparkling emos are nearly impossible to kill, that will eventually mean that the sparkling idiots win. While opponents of superior skill would have a chance of winning if the goal is simply to subdue or incapacitate them.
Again, I dislike bias in debates, it annoys me.
EevilJ wrote:Good thread. Twilight Vampires are so damn fast which is the problem with them. The only ones I know of who can kill Williow, Buffy, Angel, and Faith together with prep.
Sam and Dean could kill Edward with prep. If Sam has his demon powers its a sure win as well.
Willow, Buffy, Angel and Faith, working together, with prep. time. could take him down, true.
Sam and Dean though, don't have anything in their 'standard' armory that could take him down. He's too fast, strong and durable for them, and that's not counting in his mind reading ability.
As for Sam's demonic powers... The only one of his powers that might be effective, is his Telekinesis, and as far as I know, he hasn't shown anything that shows his TK as being powerful enough to kill a Twilight vampire.
You're welcome to prove me wrong though.
That Necromancer Witch from True Blood would Eat Edward Cullen for breakfast.
Depends on the scenario. I haven't seen enough True Blood to know her standard M.O.(I've only seen 2-3 episodes). With prep. time, she could take him down pretty easily, but in a random fight, she would lose badly.
Blade from Marvel.
Not so much. Blade has nothing in his 'standard' equipment that can actually damage the sparkling idiot, nor does he have any protection against the Mind Reading.
Alucard (or Seras Victoria for that matter) would kill him fairly easily.
Very true, about Alucard and Seras.
Rayne from Bloodrayne could beat Edward.
No, she really couldn't.
Same problem as Blade, her standard equipment wouldn't harm him, and she has no protection against his mind reading ability. Not to mention the fact that he is significantly faster than she is, not sure if he's stronger.
D from Vampire Hunter D.
Not so much. He runs into the exact same problem as people like Blade and Rayne.
Father Callahan from Salem's Lot and the Dark Tower.
Again, Not so much. Like D, Blade, Rayne, etc. he has nothing that can actually damage the sparkling buggers.
Solomon Kane
Same as D and Callahan.
Geralt from The Witcher.
I haven't played(or seen/read) enough The Witcher to say for sure, but from what I've seen, he runs into the same problem as the others.
Raziel from Legacy of Kain.
Very true, Raziel could kill the sparkling idiot relatively easily as far as I know.
Abraham Lincoln from Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter.
Same as D, Callahan, etc.
Jesus Christ from Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter.
Same as above.
Twilight vampires don't have the standard weakness against holy objects/power, which removes any advantage Callahan or Jesus might have.
