Looks like an obvious cash grab on an old mold one last time. lol
It's strange. Looking around at some of the different preorders for this figure, some of the pics have yellow eyes, and some of them have blue. And yet, all of the yellow-eyed pics are of CG renders rather than the actual figure, so it's uncertain as to which eye color the figure will have. But it is just a straight reissue of the Earthrise release, then the eyes ought to end up being blue.Sowndwave76 wrote:Although I think this reissue looks great, I would've wanted the blue eyes over the yellow.

The reissue of Jetfire was the same packaging despite it being three years later than its initial release, so it could be the same for prime. Although the production of Commander Class and Leader Class are likely two different things, which if he's packed in a case with other Leaders I assume they'd want uniform packaging? Or is this a Fan Channel/Exclusive not to hit regular retail?

Yet there's a reissue of the Earthrise Leader Optimus Prime coming soon.
For now, it's available at Amazon.ca, but not Amazon.com for reasons.
Set for release September 1st 2024.

Sounds like it was delayed there, it came out in June here, almost exactly one month after the CC was officially announced.

If I recall correctly, I think with the exception of Grand Maximus (since that was a TT exclusive), and Trypticon, every other Titan from 2013-2020 has had at least one re-release, some have had several.

The original toy was as big as Armada Unicron.-Kanrabat- wrote:D-Maximal_Primal wrote:I'm hoping they eventually do a leader class Scorponok, I like the normal sized Scorp more, and I'd like to keep my Black Zarak version of the mold.
In the meantime, the original G1 toy could be considered "leader." That is, for the 2005/2007 standards.

He would have to be an all new mold. And I would get him instantly.-Kanrabat- wrote:Sabrblade wrote:The original toy was as big as Armada Unicron.-Kanrabat- wrote:D-Maximal_Primal wrote:I'm hoping they eventually do a leader class Scorponok, I like the normal sized Scorp more, and I'd like to keep my Black Zarak version of the mold.

Yeah, he's more like those old Supreme.
Maybe Pulse will make a Comic Scorponok?
I wonder what leader could they repaint/remold to make him?

Well the Pretenders are a conversation all on their own. And that comic panel is a hilarious unintentionally ironic foreshadowing to the IDW preggo Scorponok.-Kanrabat- wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:He would have to be an all new mold. And I would get him instantly.
Me too, 100%.
Oh, why not make a "commander" version that would come with a lab vat and that could fit a pretender? I mean, a genuine pretender.
