Probably could even retcon the issue of Bee's WW2 scene and his solo movie. Also feels kinda steam-punkish in a way to me.

The face on the carrier plane looks like first-Movie Megatron's head design, but I can't imagine any logical or sensible explanation for why Megatron (or anybody) would want to turn into an aircraft that exposes their entire face.
Could it have been nudged because the concept of a superhero period war film was already being done that year with Wonder Woman? Maybe they wanted to avoid looking like they'd copied the idea.

That's what I thought when I saw it too

Although, it would have massacred the continuity of the movies even further, since the concept art also depicts ROTF Megatron participating in WWII.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Still wish those ideas had gotten a chance, that Operation Skyfire movie just speaks to me on so many levels

Hence my use of the words "even further".william-james88 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Although, it would have massacred the continuity of the movies even further, since the concept art also depicts ROTF Megatron participating in WWII.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Still wish those ideas had gotten a chance, that Operation Skyfire movie just speaks to me on so many levels

The continuity in these films has already been massacred.

It would if it was ROTF Megatron, but if they used the 07 design and ended the movie with him being refrozen it could kinda work!
william-james88 wrote:Hey all, question for you. There is a lot I dislike about the Last Knight but one bit that I just find wild and pure nonsense is the deux ex machina bit where Bumblebee speaks to Optimus in his actual voice and that's what snaps Optimus out of his Nemesis Prime persona.
Where did that come from? I know Mark Wahlberg was trying to fix his voice box earlier but failed at it. Was there a scene that I missed (I only watched the film once) where he was still trying and it had to take a while for it to work or something like that? Or did it really just come out of nowhere? Was there an explanation? And why did Bee not simply keep speaking in his normal voice after that?
