Same here, I was apprehensive opening it up and prepared for bad news, but things look to be all intact so far. I have the cab of Prime halfway transformed to where I can see inside and all the tabs on the side of the chest are in good shape. Step 21 is the place to stop since step 22 makes you compress the chest. That is where I am right now.

Now I just need to read over Scotty's instructions and do the fix. That is tonight's agenda.

Edit: Also, geez, I had forgotten how huge both Prime and UM are in vehicle mode.

Of course, but you'll have to return the defective product. And often, the shipping fees are not even refunded, making this a clear loss for you.

But knowing Hasbro, they would not refund you but instead will give you something random of "equal value." Get ready for your premium Rescue Bots playset! 8-}

If I remember right, Hasbro did offer full refunds as an option for Victory Saber that had the defects, so that should be an option for anyone who's figure arrived broken. In my case, the figure was fine with nothing broken, but an issue that would lead to breakage if not addressed. That is a bit harder of a case to argue for refund or replacement purposes unless I transformed it until it broke and hope that happened before any return window closed. Since the fix was so easy, I much preferred to prevent the breakage instead of hoping it does happen in time for a refund.

I do find it interesting that there was grease applied to the area in question that I have not seen mentioned by anyone else. I do wonder if that was a running change during production. It does seem to help as mine was tight to begin with, but not "scary, its gonna break tight".

I got my set. I did the fix right away, and hot damn, this set is amazing.

The Haslabs have been progressively getting better. Unicron was kind of an expensive wet fart, Victory Saber was pretty lame and disappointing, Deathsaurus was awesome but was maybe a tad overpriced, but this set is great.

Each individual is fantastic, and each of the combined modes is also great. I just love everything about this set.

The funny thing is, Magnus is my favorite part of the set. I cannot set the guy down, he is just so much fun.

Anyways, phtotos!

Got mine in the same last batch as everyone else. Haven't opened them yet because I bought two and want to find time to do both sets at the same time. Might try to tackle them Saturday.

Well, I finally opened up mine today. There was no damage, either internal or external, to the torso area, but I nonetheless still did the sanding fix to the sliding mechanism. Everything seems to be in full working order, now.

It's a really good set overall. Very similar to the original, but not only far more lightweight but also far more stable and secure in each figure's distinct configurations. My only real gripes are some nitpicks that otherwise don't ruin the set at all.

I'm in the UK, I just got an email from Hasbro Pulse saying that Omega Prime is coming next week and to confirm my address by the 13th of June. Time to order a screwdriver and sandpaper.

Not only that but they produced all of these at the same time so there is no fixing the issue mid run, they were already made by the time people started reporting issues.

People were being told they'd get their replacement around now, any word on that?

People that sent theirs back to Hasbro were told they'd get a new one back in mid-June, or at least I remember it being June.

DNA has teased an upgrade kit with a new center gray slider, though if you're already opening him up to replace it you can just as easily sand down the original one. Hopefully the rest of the kit is more interesting. Personally I'm hoping for an entirely new chest for Prime with rounded abs and larger chest windows. I really don't like how angular the stock chest is, it's nothing like the original toy or cartoon.

Replacements is a costly exercise. Wonder if Hasbro will make a profit if this continues to happen with TF Haslabs. Victory Saber had to be replaced as well, bar the Taiwanese orders (theirs was water damaged in transit & got a refund instead).

Mine arrived today, no cracks fortunately but the torso slider was definitely too tight so I performed the customary sanding fix. Ultra Magnus's wings are also very tight, I'll look into doing that fix too. No other issues that I've noticed so far.

For Optimus, I think this video is the best. I don't think there has been a video for Ultra Magnus unfortunately.

Hasbro Pulse consumers who reached out to Hasbro are supposedly getting a replacement Optimus Prime on "back order". Only the Optimus Prime toy, not the entire product. Said consumer can keep the existing defective Optimus Prime, without having to return it.

Some people were told to send the entire package back, hope they get an entire replacement. It'd be awful if they sent it all back only got a naked Prime in return.

When were we supposed to contact Hasbro about Omega Prime. I kept waiting for an announcement to be made so I left mine sitting in a box. Where were we supposed to report an issue with the toy?

So apparently there really was an issue where people were told to send the entire set back, box and all, and all they got back was the Prime cab in a cardboard box and nothing else. Supposedly contacting Hasbro will set things right, though we'll see just how right they make it.

I never really investigated mine to see if they were damaged or not. I'm waiting on the DNA upgrade kit to finally hit pre-orders. They mentioned one back in May and I thought we got a preview of the new, more accurate chest, but now I can't find the pictures.
