It is really nice. FF8 is underrated, at least compared to FF6 and FF7.

As for Sailor Moon...ehh...I prefer shows meant for males.

I just started playing the game again a few days ago. It is really underrated, and it is a shame. The FF7 fans really hated on it unfairly and that stigma has stuck with it ever since. =/

What's really weird as that a lot of people hate FF7 inexplicably. It's like anything post-Kefka isn't good.

That's one of the weird things about the fan complex. "Old stuff rules and new stuff sucks" often with no objective reasoning behind it at all, other than nostalgia. That kind of closed minded attitude can be really disappointing at times...

Yeah. FF6 was good...it was great, but best FF ever...? Probably, yeah.

But that doesn't mean FF7 and FF8 don't have their merits.

FF6 was the most well written game of the series. I can't think of a single thing about FF6 that disappoints me.

Oh... and then there are the people who don't like things because they're popular. :roll:

Alright, sorry, got a bit carried away.

It is a little funny though considering BBR likes to drag Sailor Moon into every topic he posts in, regardless of whether or not it belongs there.

Anyhoo, on topic.

It is interesting to note that Sailor Moon and Code Name: Sailor V are the only manga by Naoko Takeuchi that ever really took off. She did not pen a great number of series and those that she did tended to flop. How she ever got the thought in her head that Q-ko would be a good idea is beyond my understanding.

Sailor Moon was one of the best anime ever and had great characters and plots. anywho, any one here suport Mako/Sailor JupiterxAmi/Sailor Mercury? I think they would make a great couple.

Jupiter sounds, acts, and looks rather masculine, and that one scene where she looked at mercury's ass was priceless, and Ami and Mako danced together in one episode. What-her-face is named molly. I liked that scene too. My favorite scene is the one in kitty chaos where Sailor Mercury falls over and Jupiter looks at her ass :lol:

No. It was implied ever so subtly but it is mostly just a fanon thing. The only legitimate same sex couples in the Anime were Kunzite and Zoisite, and Haruka and Michiru.

Mind if I join in?

I used to watch Sailor Moon (the DiC dub) way back when I was little. Back then, I hadn't fully understood it, other than that it was superhero girls fighting evil and seemed similar to Power Rangers.

As I grew older and came to understand it better, I wanted to see more. BUT, by that time, I wasn't able to see it anymore due to school and the scheduled time it aired on TV. And I forgot all about it. Then, a few years later, I caught one episode of it and it brought back memories (it was the one that introduced Mercury). I had wanted to start watching it again, but the next day, it went off the air completely (along with Garfield & Friends). That was the last time I had ever seen Sailor Moon on TV.

It would not be until recently that I began watching it online in full. As of now, I've seen all 159 dubbed episodes, all 200 subbed episodes, all 3 movies dubbed and subbed, and all 5 shorts subbed.

I've also taken into watching PGSM (the live action tokusatsu) and have seen all 51 acts (including the Special Act and Act Zero) subbed, and the Kirari Super Live live performance (though, I now regret watching that one).

As for the manga, I've read only chapters 1-12 scanlated. I do not wish to read the Mixx/Tokyopop versions because of the changes that were made to them. I want to read the manga in its original form as the story was intended to be told. However, I cannot find anymore scanlations beyond chapter 12. Only those that were done by Mixx/Tokyopop (maybe someone could help me out?).

(EDIT: I've managed to read all of the manga a different way, so no help is necessary anymore).

As for my favorites, my favorite main character would be Mamoru. Favorite final villain would be Death Phantom. Favorite season finale would be the R finale. Favorite movie would be the R movie. Favorite episode of each season:

First season - episode 34 (dub episode 30)
R season: Makaiju arc - either 50 (dub 56) or 59 (dub 65)
R season: Black Moon arc - either 68 (dub 62), 73-74 (dub 66-67) two-parter, 77 (dub 70), 83 (dub 76), or 86-88 (dub 79-81) three-parter
S(uper) season - 108 (funniest episode ever)
SuperS season - 132*
Sailor Stars season: Queen Nehellenia arc - none**
Sailor Stars season: Shadow Galactica arc - 188

* - This was difficult to choose since I didn't enjoy the SuperS season that much.
** - I did not enjoy this story arc very much at all.

Favorite PGSM episode would be Act 36.

Least favorite dub change: Changing "Senshi" (soldier) to "Scout".

Other than that, I haven't much else to say. Though, should the conversations pick up again, I will gladly join in.

I saw the S movie Hearts in Ice Recently. It was pretty decent. I think they should remake Sailor Moon as a live action (with Megan Fox as Mako/Sailor Jupiter 8-}

) I wish the show was more well known. the only people I know heard of it because I told them about it :lol:

I didn't enjoy that one so much. Mostly due to Luna crushing on the Kakeru guy (who already had a girlfriend), when she's supposed to be with Artemis.

Of the three movies, I like R the best, SuperS second, and S third.

No way! She would NOT be good for Makoto/Jupiter.

Besides, there already was a live action series: Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon. It was decent enough.
