Do you collect other toys besides Transformers? Maybe you've got a Masters of the Universe collection you'd like to show off, or maybe you like Thundercats, Voltron, G.I.Joe, Power Rangers, Star Wars, Wrestling, or any of the various comic book toy lines. Please keep the discussions here to non-Transformers toy lines.

It's the bottom half of the Great Robot Base:
If they do the whole thing it's going to be huge.
They're definitely doing the whole thing. But forget huge, it's going to be expensive! Just that part is more than HasLab Unicron!

Really? Have we officially gotten a price?
Yeah, it's (or at lest that part of it) up on Takara Tomy Mall 63,800 JPY ($447.56). On Amazon Japan the price is currently slightly higher after factoring in nearly $90 in shipping costs negating Amazon discount. I'm going to wait to see if the Amazon price comes down any before I commit, it's a lot of money. This thing is the Diaclone poster boy and seeing as how it looks like it'll probably be more than Titan sized it may be worth the investment. Would look super impressive on a shelf. Amazon Japan lists it at slightly more than 20" and I don't know if that standing without a head or the length of the vehicle
Incidentally I see Amazon Japan is now offering shipping options, though they're all pretty high.
Man, I'm still on the fence about getting the base. Not only is the exchange rate still good (though not as good as when it was announced), but Amazon still has a very "low" price down to about $370 and the shipping has seen a MASSIVE drop from nearly $90 to only $23 for standard shipping (which is still very fast) bringing the price to roughly $393 (if you have Amazon use their exchange rate, which might be better than your credit card's, it's $400 even). Still would like to see the rest of it before committing so much money, hopefully they show it before the release and the price doesn't go up.
I don't collect Diaclone regularly, I only have two of the convoys, but cool giant transforming robot is hard to resist wanting for the shelf.
I don't know if anyone has been following along with this, but they finally revealed the other half and it costs more than the first half DA-95! It's the DA-100 Aerial Mobile Fortress so I guess they were waiting for the milestone to reveal it. Final combined form is just slightly over 24". And because it wasn't expensive enough there's also an add on set that fills in the deck on DA-95 and makes it a little bigger.
The price breakdown is pretty insane if bought at retail with tax:
I'll second that. It's just magnificent. I need to debate this hard.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...

Not everywhere, but DA-95 sold out on BBTS.

This one will probably sell out too, who wants a bottom without the top.

I recently had to update my mecha shelf, and my Tridasher and Trirambler are still highlights of the shelf. I have debated getting a single warauder mech, but I have been very content with my pair of mechs
I'm looking for parts, Help Me Out Please! Wanna talk? Or Rollerblade? Click below and head on over to the D-Max Den!!

I recently got the Ravager unit, and it is pretty neat. The feet remind me of a Bionicle design I loved as a kid, which is why I went for him. I can't wait to get the jet unit to go with it

It was $70, is about voyager sized, but is very intricate in design and construction. It's pretty neat the amount of stuff you can do with it
$70 is more tempting but I want the van that turns into a shuttle first.
I still want a magic bus that can turn into a shuttle
Is that from that cartoon?

Do I seriously gotta bust out the classic 1994 theme song and end credits?
