The hostility stemmed from prior posts long before that Blast. Did you have any questions you wanted to ask me about being in Transformers 4? Did you want to know anything else about me? I did explain more of my acting history in other posts. Would you like to know of any other projects I have been in or currently in?

Do we talk about Transformers here past and future and current? What would everyone like me to say? I was in a Transformers movie and everyone one of you trashed my thread including you with another cheap stab. The replies don't make sense. Am I allowed to talk about my Transformers experience here or not?

The hostility stems from the manner of your posts. You're taking yourself far too seriously and coming across as a bit of an arrogant arsehole. For example repeatedly stating "I've been in a Transformers movie" and asking "who else here has been in a Transformers movie?" comes across as self-glorifying. This is the Internet, people are going to take the piss out of you when you have an attitude like that. Especially when you appear to think that we should hold you in reverence because you were in the background scenes of what was frankly a terrible movie.

Well I'd disagree. The initial hostility arose from your reaction to a few lighthearted comments of 'what's in it for me?' after you asked us to become part of your 'fanbase'. You didn't seem interested in us finding out more about you or your acting history at first; instead declaring how you'd been in the film, that you wanted to get onto the next one and as such we should all help you do so by becoming part of your fanbase.

Then came the tirade of 'aren't you Transformers fans? I've been in Transformers film. What films have any of you been in?' like you are entitled to expect us to just fawn over you because you appeared as an extra in a film that involved hundreds of others. Perhaps it was all a big misunderstanding and lack of online etiquette.

Well let's start with some interesting things about the film then. Michael likes to throw a baseball and play catch in between scene's?

As an Englishman I have no idea how to play baseball in general, nevermind how to play it on a film set. What's Mark Wahlberg like?

Glad you asked Blast. I worked with him for six hours. He is a really nice guy. Likes to laugh and be friendly. It appeared he was trying new material on the crew and actors. He was trying jokes on us. I think it was for a film that he may be working on. It was very hot on our shoot day. He just came from Texas where the filming began. It was hot there as well. On our day it was in the 90's. He had to wear a jacket for continuity. When he didn't have to be in bumblebee he would stay in a cadillac SUV that had the air running.

Thank you Admin and thank you members for posting in this thread. I apologize this thread turned in a direction. I don't know what to say to the members here to gain your confidence exactly. I am trying to be as honest as I can with out turning aggravated. I was a background actor on T4 but I tried so hard to make the best impression I could because it was a rare moment I could meet those caliber of people.

That's why you see me moving around and literally a huge shot of me standing next to Pete. I was on set for a total of 13 1/2 hours. That's all the time I had to do something with myself. Michael literally came around an entire group of people and pulled me out of the group to use me for different scenes. This wasn't the first film for me but was the biggest I had ever been on.

It was Pete that I spoke to the most that gave me the consideration to help me expose myself by giving me as much face time as possible. That's why you see me next to him in a scene and moving around multiple scenes. Later in contact he even pulled me into another film project because of the impression I made in that film. I want to be better than a background actor.

I spent a number of years studying acting at a school. I even volunteered as an unpaid intern to take more classes and even re-take the same classes to help my instructors teach others and make sure I had not missed anything in those classes.

Please check me out on IMDb. I am not the star actor. It is very difficult to get a break. I am a Transformers fan. I feel very lucky I got in that role. I remember literally thousands showing up for like 5 police roles at that gate. When on set I wanted to talk to the actors as much as I was allowed. When you are on such a set. You're are not allowed to bother the star actors let alone bring camera's or a phone on set. I wanted to take pics so bad.

I spent about 6 hours just at that gate alone with Reynor, Walhberg, Kelly, the other actors and cast, including Bay. Two times I worked on the same project as Mikal Vega if anyone know's who he is. I made such an impression that I am in consistant contact with several of the Transformers actors.

I am the lowest of the acting pool. Asking for help here may have been to much. I don't know what I can give back but the information I can gather from the contacts that I have or my involvement. I am only as good as my fanbase or my following. I am trying to hone my skills and be the best actor I can be. Despite this.... Paramount Pictures or a top class agency is NEVER going to touch me unless I make some kind of impression. That is why I chose to come here. I am a Trasformers fan. I watched transformers my entire life. I was there and I saw bumblebee. I saw all the cars as I waved them in.

I want back in the Transformers 5 somehow with a better role and more involvement. In fact, they were considering giving me a line. Maybe as it's fan club wants or requests. I read the complaints all the time. I want to use Vin Diesel as an example. He keeps constant contact with his viewers and speaks to them directly through is fanpage. They can tell when it's not him posting. That's where I developed this idea.

As a working actor trying to hussle my way up. I want to owe this to anyone that views my work. you deserve it as far as I am concerned. You deserve my contact and as much information as I can volunteer.

So here I am on a Transformers website. I want to do as much as I can to return with something better than a background actor. I can't do that on my own. I am nobody and you all know that. I am doing as much work as I can in the mean time to show everyone my material. Let me know what I need to do. I am reaching out to all of you on this site. Not to argue about what' is what but what I need to do. You have my word I will be here and volunteer as much as I can no matter where it takes me.

Honestly, that pretty much sums it up, IMO. I'm not trying to be mean, just realistic, like I said before. I wish you nothing but the best in your career in acting, whether you want to be a "working actor" or a "movie star." However, as far as acting is concerned, when it comes to this place, it's a very small part of a section (Live Action movie forum) on this site, and getting our support probably required you to go a different way about it than you did. I understand what you're trying to do, get support for you to appear in more TF films. It makes sense to come to a fan site for Transformers. However, you did it kinda heavy-handed. You basically said, "Here I am, this is what I did, now support me!!!" As if we were supposed to think you were so awesome because you had a 5-10 second non-speaking role in a TF film. Like I said before, I congratulate you for getting the role, no matter how small. It's the way to get started, make contacts in the business, and perhaps have it lead to bigger things. But don't get it blown out of proportion, it was just what it was. A small role, that quite frankly, I could have done. Not having to express emotions through facial expression and/or dialogue pretty much negates the need for acting classes. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you wasted your time getting them, because you will probably get to use what they taught you in the future. I'm just saying that when it came to this role, between you and me there wouldn't have been much of a difference. I have no problem with you being in TF4, and I do hope you get a bigger role in the next film, if nothing else than to prove yourself. You're welcome here, at least by me, even if the tone of some of our replies might have suggested otherwise. It's actually neat to have a member of the boards be a part of the live action production.
