This morning I found Hank and Diana, the first two single carded figures from the Classic Dungeons & Dragons line at a target that had just finished the toy reset. Being a huge fan of the toon since it came out in the 80's this line will be gobbled up by me
They had this set as well
I started with Diana, they are in the new "eco friendly" boxes from Hasbro so it is pretty much a blind box purchase.
This is how they are packaged
She comes with D20 dice
Two bow staffs, one standard
The other with action "swirls" to simulate her spinning it
All in all I like her and will being sucked into the whole line just for 80's nostalgia sake
Now I noticed on the package that she had the thigh swivel feature
However the actual figure does not (this is also visible on the pulse website which I had not checked)
So I called Hasbro Pulse and spoke to an associate, she told me that the pictures for the packages are taken at different stages of production and it was most likely that this one was taken in early production and at some point they decided to remove that swivel. I did express the "blind box" issue and how it makes buying stuff a bit tougher because most people like to see what they are purchasing especially an action figure like this that has a certain amount of detail with it. I can see that in the future this could be frustrating for us and from a CS standpoint difficult for them with tons of complaints.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
No, I am not friendly online or in real life.
I look forward to attending a Botcon only to settle matters with idiots in person.
