Hello all. So we're a couple months into a new year and there were some fun offerings toy wise during 2017.
I am actually a bit surprised no one has
posted and asked: "What was the best toy of 2017.", at least here, that is.
Predators, Xenomorphs, Star Wars, Loyal Subjects... cool gets for all.
Let's get down to it though. Now, this isn't a top 5, or 3. No. I want to know what your #1 toy of 2017 was.
2017 brought me several cool figures and toys I was absolutely elated to get.
It moved me to get my first Marvel Build a Figure. After seeing Spider-Man Homecoming I had to get the Vulture.I've seen people complain in that it wasn't a figure, but an accessory. Not really into figures that size, that aspect didn't bother me. I wanted the Vulture, and I drove everywhere until I completed him.
Favorite toy of the year!!..that was until X-mas came.
Mind you, I haven't bought a toy online for about 3 (maybe 4) years. So seeing cool stuff that I was unable to procure wad kinda tough, especially when certain items should have made it to local retail outlets. Which was the case for my actual
toy of the year.
Mcfarlane has released building sets based on a few properties: Rick and Morty, Five Nights at Freddy's, Steven Universe and South Park. I am really not a Lego builder though. I like the finished product, I'm just not into the labor intensive prospect
of all those brick stacking.
I had seen them all at Walmarts or other places, well, most of them.
I had never found the Coon's lair, until unwrapping it (from my brother) X-mas morning..
Like I said, I'm not into building sets, and it took me 4ever to piece together, but it is magnificent. They also offer other smaller sets to truly complete it. As of now the holding cell with Prof Chaos is the only add on I've picked up (yes, he does come with the poop bucket. But is not mentioned anywhere on the package).
So there it is. That is my best toy of 2017. Please let me know what you think. and chime in on what you think the best toy of 2017 was. Thank you.
