Kingdom Leader Class Galvatron
IGN wrote:The 7.5-inch Galvatron is inspired by the figure's G1 Transformers design and includes 4 accessories: "a Particle Beam cannon, 2 side cannon accessories that attach in both modes, and a Matrix of Leadership accessory." The Matrix of Leadership hangs from Galvatron's neck, "as it did in the 1986 film, The Transformers: The Movie." It's a really cool bridge between die-hard old-school and the new age of Transformer figures.
Kingdom Titan Class Autobot Ark with Teletraan-1
The Autobot Ark is the largest of the three newly announced figures, coming it at an astonishing 19-inches tall and includes an Optimus Prime microfigure that fits inside. The Autobot Ark has a "G1-inspired Sky Spy accessory," and its chest piece is removable and converts into the "Autobot computer, TELETRAAN-1."
Kingdom Deluxe Class Scorponok with Cyberbee drone
Scorponok measures 5.5-inches and comes with "a Mega Missile and Cyberbee drone accessory," as well as "claw and tail articulation."
Additionally, while it's pointed out that the chest piece of the Ark can turn into TELETRAAN-1, it doesn't mention the robot mode the computer can turn into as well...Mainframe!
The IGN article states that these will be available from July but will be available to preorded on HasbroPulse.com on April 9th (this Friday!) After the Fan event, presumably along either the rest of the reveals.
What do you think of these three? Excited to see what else I waiting for the fans? Shout it out in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

As for the holloness. I'm guess the fact that it is only 19 inches, and uses less plastic overall than more recent Titan's is the reason for the slight price reduction. ($149.99)
Also, Teletran-1 Looks almost like it could be a weaponizer, but not sure...

Scorponok robot mode looks good.I want to see a review to see more of the
beast mode, but the scorpion legs look decent.
Day 463 of waiting for Transformers Armada Masterpiece news.

Yes, you are correct. That was my mistake. I read it at $29.99 for the MSRP, and because Scorponok had previously been a larger Mega class, my brain just went with that made complete sense for Scorponok. I updated the news article accordingly. Thanks Nemesis Primal!

The Arc is okay, although does that 17 inches make him the shorties of the titans then? Not including the combiners. Someone mentioned the his needing some panels on the sides for the ship mode and I have to agree wholeheartedly. The void looks awful in ship mode.
I want a better look at that cyberbee on Scorpinok. Does it launch like a missile? Will it's butt have a large missile sticking out it?

Anytime boss
My thoughts:
I do like Galvatron, though I want to see the Selects redeco before I make my buying choice.
Scorponok, I want to like him, but he's just not doing it for me, there seems to be a disconnect between his torso and legs. I'll reserve judgment till we get in hand shots in.
Ark. I love him already just for Mainframe love the Last Autobot headsculpt. He's got a good look to him. He's also got the privilege of being the only Titan so far to not being based on any toy before (besides Mainframe of course)

As I've said in the other thread, I'm not really digging Scorponok. The robot legs look too small for the rest of his body, I wouldn't be surprised if this figure has issues standing up. While I get that the scorpion's colours are supposed to be cartoon accurate, I still don't think it looks very nice. The purple doesn't go very well with the red and grey, and looking back at some images from the cartoon, while Scorponok's claws are purple they're more of a blue-ish purple, which I think would've looked better than the violet we have here.

Your brain and mine, could have sworn he was a Voyager according to the leaked listings a while back! That's a whoops on my part as well.

R_Puffs wrote:Scorponok looks good except for all of that red in his beast mode. Its just so unsightly and ruins any of the real-life accuracy that they were obviously going for with his scorpion mode, makes him look like a rescue bots toy imo
Unfortunately, in spite of the more life-like Beast Mode head, the character accurate colour scheme was always going to make any notion of realism redundant.

Hasbro's photography has come a long way. Galvatron looks like he just emerged from the plasma pools of Thrull.
Whoever is behind this line is clearly a fan.

Now I really wonder what the core class versions scale with. Apparently Unicron and the Ark both include micro figures and, if anything, the regular size characters are slightly too small. Will there be some future play factor?

Galvatron still looks good (and he looked better with the shoulders reversed), but I'm not attached enough to G1 Galvatron to spend Leader class money on him. If they repaint/retool him into Energon Megatron like we've mentioned/speculated before, I'll be all over it.
I've not bought any Titans and still have no intention of doing so, but that Ark is VERY tempting. The fact that he comes with Mainframe and the alt mode scanner drone is great, and he REALLY reminds me of Tidal Wave, which is a strong selling point for a UT kid like me. If they do another version of Mainframe without the Ark in his original colors like was suggested on the Selects thread, I'd grab that.
No problem Boss BotSeibertron wrote:Nemesis Primal wrote:...isn't Scorponok a Deluxe, not a Voyager?

I wonder if it's leader galvatron with a leader sized unicron figure or a reference to the idea from the Headmasters cartoon that some of y'all had mentioned. But without it just being a beer belly galvatron lol I'd imagine he'd be CC galvatron with a planet alternate mode and some unicron design elements

Bounti76 wrote:I've only seen the Beast Wars series once, so I don't remember much about Scorponok's scorpion mode, but did his claws always look like that? They almost look like Venus fly traps rather than scorpion claws.
I think they are basing the design on a combination of the original toy and cartoon.

They only needed one mode and failed spectacularly. I honestly can't think of a bigger design failure in Transformers history.

You're making Prime Airachnid sad. It could also be argued that Earthrise Arcee was a failure in design

Scorponoks chest is too square and his crotch looks off (aomething a fair few WFC figures have against them) but I think that it might be the size class that goes against him for me as I'll mainly be going for MP beast wars figures. Still nice to see we are getting nearly the full Beast wars crew so Inferno can't be far behind

Galvatron, I'll wait to see repaints of. But I'm just not feeling $50 for him.
The Ark / Iaconus (I'm calling him that, frag it) looks pretty dang nice. I like the aesthetic they went with for him, looks great! and I love that Mainframe. I hope we get a proper colored Mainframe repaint of him in selects, the Lost Light shelf deserves it!
On a different note, I love using Ractonite as a huge bone hammer

Idk, HasTak made that change with Blackarachnia, opting for the more anatomically accurate black legs for the black widow mode over the show-accurate gold legs. I don't think it would have been too much to ask for some grey legs for the sake of Scorp's beast mode.
Posted by cruizerdave on April 7th, 2021 @ 3:21pm CDT
The Ark, eh. I could be alright, it's just not something worth spending $150 on. Although the Teletran as Mainframe idea would be worth doing as its own deluxe figure!
Scorponok looks like a great update, complete with cyberbee and everything.

The biggest design failure in TF history ... TR Fort Max in my book. His legs go from inroads in Metroplex to literally nothing in Fort Max. I was hoping a 3rd party could do something with them, but it was not to be.

I'm looking at TR Fort Max right now, and I agree that only the robot mode is any good.
My problem with the Ark is that though there are many different variations of it, I've never seen one that doesn't have, you know, sides.
My dinky little Titanium Ark that doesn't look like any other Ark is more Ark-like than the Kingdom Ark.

Galvatron is... well, Galvatron. Already knew I was into him but it’s nice to see that his Revenge model kits can be stored on his back.
The Ark is.... underwhelming, frankly. Ship mode is nice but the robot mode leaves something to be desired for me. Teletraan-1 having a Mainframe-looking robot mode is also a neat twist, though it’s suspiciously Combiner Wars Silverbolt-shaped... I wonder how both the Ark and Teletraan-1 scale with the rest of Generations?

This. I completely see and agree with WiseMan's take but at the same time, I know it transforms so some things I can forgive.
I feel like we are in an opposite time from G1. Back then, the alt-mode was gorgeous while the robot was a non-articulated brick. They were wonderful-looking bricks! But, a brick nonetheless. These days we have decent-looking alt-modes with gorgeous robots that have amazing articulation. So some of the cost that would have gone into panels went into some joint, maybe some articulation instead. I prefer articulation so I'm cool with it but I can see why other collectors would be put off.

This is really going to be a display set-up that I've wanted for many years!!!
I am probably in for the Ark... I actually like that there's no illustrated model to compare his bot mode to. Which in the grand scheme isn't anything impressive, but good enough.
The ship mode is a little disappointing with the gaps, but I still like it. Who knows, I may even display him in alt mode. I really appreciate the Teletraan-1 and Mainframe... Very cool imo!!
I'm not trying to hype this up to myself too much, but I'm looking forward to getting just my second Titan Class figure!
Scorponok is a pass for me. like all the BW figures.

Yeah, I'm really disappointed by the Ark and as you said makes the Core class pointless, which is a shame since I feel they're the best figures in Kingdom.

And I hate Kingdom Galvatron because despite the robot mode looking fantastic, the back of his alt-mode of a cannon-tube-thingy-on-wheels in no way matches the original toy or animation model. And I hate it more because 3rd party knock-offs are getting it right.

I'm not too sure about Core-class. That little red Prime looking freaking tiny in the shot. That might be the right size for Unicron, but too small for the Ark to my eyes. I think the Core-class is actually going to scale just fine.
