Animation site Toon Zone has posted on their site the complete press release for the Transformers: Animated Season 2 DVD box, to be released on January 6th 2009. The box with feature two discs with all 13 episodes, including audio commentary, three animated shorts and a photo gallery.

In the show’s second season, the AUTOBOTS continue their battle with MEGATRON’S DECEPTICONS for control of planet Earth. Meanwhile the AUTOBOTS Elite Guard arrives to take possession of the ALLSPARK, only to find that it has been blown to pieces. Well that sure is a better improvement over the first set. It barely had squat with its special features.
