We know the Transformers fandom has been hankering for something new to order and this article is to let you know that new preorders are upon us. This Thursday, Hasbro will reveal the Transformers Star Raiders figures (remember, these have yet to be revealed officially) and the preorders will go live.
We have the web pages for those preorders below so that you can be ready.
Remember, some Walmart exclusive never made it to store shelves and remained online only, like Galaxy Shuttle and TLK Hot Rod.

Probably not looking at a repeat Cosmos situation as each DLX figure should come 2 each making it 6 bots per case right? While Ferak is 4X per case?
Posted by Rodimus Prime on March 11th, 2024 @ 3:37pm CDT
If not, I guess Ferak will be solid case, which is good for me since that's the only one I want.

You'd have gotten the same issue if Cosmos was 2 per case, which we saw with Crasher.
But none of these figures are of G1 show characters, and none have very unique molding so if any are hard to find it will only be because of bad distribution and not due to demand.

They put a hold, but unlike many retailers, for some reason it takes several days (rather than just a "check" to make sure funds are there). So they dont actually charge until the item ships, but to secure your order, may take several days, kind of annoying.
As for which will be the hardest to find.... The voyager and leader being only 1 (and in cases of and 3 respectively) should be easy enough to obtain if they do show up in stores (Like G2 Grimlock, Toxitron, and the Voyager Cloudcover were in abundance).
If there are 4 deluxes (Cases of 8, and 2 per case), that would be even, then as WJ said, its up to distribution. My guess is that Lockdown might be slightly more popular than the others, but I honestly dont know. I'm just being pessimistic because Lockdown is the only one I'm remotely interested in, so according to Murphys law, that WILL be the hardest to get .
Lastly, is Roadpig part of this subline? I thought he was part of something else?

I wish! Between my two local stores one skipped the entire line all together, the other had multiple restocks of the Deluxes (I think I counted 6 times) and Cloudcover was plentiful (and still is) but never got the leaders, didn't even make space for them. Many reported the same and others even reported the Leaders going directly to clearance. Distribution of exclusive at Walmart is about as random as it gets, always has been, what's abundant at one store can be non existent at the next. We won't really know what's easy to get until after they show up in stores, we can't even use past distribution as a metric.
Lastly, is Roadpig part of this subline? I thought he was part of something else?
Yes Roadpig is the fourth Deluxe, there's only four this time around.

I am genuinely amazed there hasn't been a Cyclonus Armada redeco in the Legacy or even SS'86 line yet? Universe Cyclonus had at least three colour variations of purple. The Secondary Cyclonus (that had more screen time than the fifth Dinobot) could easily work with one of those.

You got all the deluxes, I got the Leaders. Too bad the stores near us couldn't have swapped these out to our preferences Yeah Distribution sucks. Paying scalper prices for a single deluxe because it was not obtainable is not something I like doing.

Maybe because he was on screen for only a few shots? We did get a Sweep from the Scourge mold (whose deco ironically looks more like Scourge than Scourge does) so I guess we could get a "Cy-clone-us" as well. Probably towards the tail end of SS86, when they run out of characters.AllNewSuperRobot wrote:I am genuinely amazed there hasn't been a Cyclonus Armada redeco in the Legacy or even SS'86 line yet? It was joked that Snarl shouldn't have been part of the SS'86 line for that very reason. Yet his figure existsAllNewSuperRobot wrote: The Secondary Cyclonus (that had more screen time than the fifth Dinobot)

I'm surprised they didn't release Armada at the same time as the Sweeps to be fair. Both Cyclonus and Scourge are army builders within the context of the Movie. So it does seem like an oversight.

Apparently, the Sweep release happened because they use the wrong/a bad color source for Scourge's deco, with the Sweep having the correct deco for Scourge.AllNewSuperRobot wrote:I'm surprised they didn't release Armada at the same time as the Sweeps to be fair. Interesting. In truth it does still bother me that Sweep was sold as an individual figure. A twin pack at least should be mandatory for a troop builder.
Sabrblade wrote:Some have bought the Selects toy-colors Cyclonus to use as an Armada.
I know, I read that before commenting. But the added decals and blue "ears" bug me with that release. If anything, Selects could be Cyclonus and Armada the other release. But it still isn't ideal. Given that just like the Sweeps, the majority of the colour scheme should look the same.

Most of those details are stickers that you have to apply yourself, so the base figure doesn't have them.AllNewSuperRobot wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Some have bought the Selects toy-colors Cyclonus to use as an Armada.

True. But those ears still aren't right
Plus, the two tones of purple on the other Cyclonus should have been flipped really.

Thundertron was the fifth figure in the leak and is supposed to be a leader pack (assuming he comes with something else.) he's product number G0236 according to the leak.

Seems to be the general feeling. Similar to the G2 line we last had.
And to be fair, that's how it should be with exclusives, just extra product that is not "essential" to complete collections.

Below you will see reviews for deluxe Chromia, voyager Silverbolt and leader Sandstorm.
These have yet to be officially announced and the only place that had them available to ship to the US was CMD store which is now sold out.
We should be getting preorders before the end of March.
Posted by Triggerdick Megatron on March 13th, 2024 @ 3:25pm CDT
I am impressed with those 3, especially Sandstorm and Silverbolt. Sandstorm is a really good modern take on the G1 original. Silverbolt looks awesome, more BW is always welcome. Chromia will join my fembot team.
Posted by cloudballoon on March 13th, 2024 @ 4:39pm CDT
My limited shelves space only let me collect G1 S1-S3 and OP/Megs of other series and some "MUST NEED!!!" level of want, This Silverbolt is not it. Too bad, as like many BW fans, Dinobot & the Silverbolt/Blackarachnia story arcs were my favorites in the series. But the Kingdom/Legacy figures aren't what I hoped they'd be.
Chromia... I'm fine with my T30 version (the TFA Arcee retool), but I love the Legacy TFA Prowl mold. So if I see it on discount/clearance, I'll probably get one and repaint it into any one of the Fembot that's missing on my G1 shelf.
I see no PO yet on any of the Canadian online retailers...

This has somewhat changed my perspective on transformers.
I myself grew up with beast wars, so I love the silverbolt figure...
I don't think my nephews would understand the figure.

If they ever release something lie this version I'd buy it.

Yeah, they didn't even try to make her look accurate to Cyberverse Chromia from the neck down. They just stuck a new head on the G1-ified body of Legacy Animated Prowl, changed the colors, and called it a day.Till-all-R1 wrote:I'm no expert on Chromia, especially Cyberverse which I never watched, but her bot from doesn't seem too accurate to according to the images I've seen.

I would have expected something like this on a Select toy, or some sort of exclusive. It's sad for a mainline toy.

Seems like it was indeed to get things ready. At 7:01 AM I was able to pre-order Cannonball from Walmart.
I do wonder if any of these are at risk of selling out. Who would be the most popular? Lockdown, maybe?

I was able to order all four (no Road Pig or Thundertron yet), but the one that gave me the most trouble was Filch, I kept getting an error stating that she couldn't be added due to popularity and to try later, but after a couple minutes I was able to get her. She'll probably be the most popular since it's her first real figure.

I had to look her up to even know who she was. But I guess that makes sense. IIRC... The Decepticons with the unique Beast Modes were quite popular in RiD15. The fact that few of them actually had toys I guess shows there is a demand for them.
The fact that these aren't coming out until August put me off pre-ordering. There's only one I marginally want, and not enough to set aside $25 for 5 months. If I see it in stores great. If not, no biggie this time.

ok, so Im a little confused.... Hasbro just released a Voyager Thundertron for Legacy United. But Walmart is getting a Leader later this year? Is this just going to be a repaint with some "added stuff" to make it a Leader?
The worst part of those refreshes was that while all 3 were on Pulse in limited Quantities, Galaxy Shuttle was only on Walmart.com for a short time as well (so glad I got one), while Crasher and Shadowstrip never had valid pre-orders on Walmart.com.
Galaxy Shuttle never showed up in stores, while Crasher and Shadowstrip were extremely limited. I still cant believe I actually found a single Shadowstip in the wild, at a random visit to a Walmart I don't frequent.

I'm definitely gonna get ferak and filch, though the wing pieces seem a little too big for her forearms. Cannonball having the hammer, claw, and gun is awesome. Love that. Lockdown idk now. They basically said they're gonna do an animated lockdown eventually. Though I could still use this one for junkasaurus. Decisions decisions

In today's stream,
- Mark called Lockdown a Weaponizer.
- Ferak's face is based on Floro Dery's early Cyclonus face design, which was used for the Marvel version of Cyclonus.
- And a few mistakes were made: Mark repeatedly said Filch is from Cyberverse, and both he and BMac repeatedly mispronounced Ferak's name as "Fer-ROCK" instead of "Fair-ack".
