Eh, I'd take Justitoys version over Takara/Tomy's any day.
I saw their MP-04 trailer, and it left a lot to be desired.
Wasn't their version of Roller a special contest thing or something? (It was something to that effect...)
Plus, it'll most likely be cheaper.

Looks like I'm off to hunt for another MP Megs. I'll need to have one in gun mode hanging on my wall now.

I agree, I wasn't too impressed with their trailer, or the Justitoys one, to be honest. Price is always a good way to gauge these things though! As far as Roller, yes, I believe he was some sort of limited contest or exclusive, which sucks.

Wait, they actually released an official MP Roller??

Exulted Unicron wrote:but since when did Megatron ever need his silencer and stock in robot mode?
Microman(?) version has a set up where all the attachments could be hooked up to his cannon on his arm. A little man could sit in a chair and do whatever it is that little men do when riding giant robtos.
There is a picture in the MP Megatron Instruction book.

Out of curiosity, where else would you get it I bought the non-opening trailer from JustiToys and I love it. I keep it in box and it just adds a really nice feel to a MP collection. There's no doubt in my mind that TT will end up doing a perfect version 2 years in the future, but I'll gladly take JustiToys brand early.Ninja Sixshot wrote:sweet. too bad im not getting mine from justitoys
The price will most likely cost upwards or $80-$100 like the trailer they made so many moons ago. If anyone really wants to see what it might look like, they have a silhouette of Megatron behind the stock and silencer cannon thing-a-majig on their homepage.

I also think it is cool that JustiToys is looking into making the big Fusion Cannon out of the parts. I realize that you never see that on the show but since they are making the stock and silencer anyways it's kind of an added bonus.

Oh I'm sure it'll be expensive, but I'm not sure it'll be that expensive. Prime's trailer has more parts and required a bigger size for those said parts.
This should be relatively simple for them to replicate. KO makers upsize TFs all the time and price remains low.

The MP Megs silencer/stock is a different situation. Even though I'm sure Takara *will* release their own official version later, which I'll still likely buy just to keep MISB as I did with MP-04, I think the Justitoys version will more than suffice for the people who already have MP-05 and I'm sure I'll pick one up as well, especially since I'm already going the extra mile (of geekdom) where MP Megs in concerned. I have a silver plated metal briefcase with dark gray foam molding that I plan to turn into his own MP 'assassin kit' of sorts, so the addition of a stock & silencer is going to make the final package look amazing I might even take it one step further and get the foam cut specifically for the gun & accessories, hehe.

You know I always forget that Canadian and American dollers are not the same. Mine cost about $60-80 or somethign like that. I'm sure it would be cheaper for the US.

$60.00-80.00 CAD translates to $52.23-$69.64 in US dollars.
That...I'd be willing to pay. Anything above that...no.

The orange plug doesn't look that bad. I mean, it looks like it's removable or can be removed with little effort.

From what I understand and I think it was Counterpunch who made a thread, there is little to no resistance in pulling th plug out. No glue, just a little rib of sorts to keep it from gingerly falling out.

Behold ya'll, for these are the words I have scribed:

You will go to the Degobah system, there you will order from http://www.tfsource.com in order to receive a Megatron with a Yellow cap, that is easily removable.
The thing is, no one knows if the BBTS cap, which is very different, will be removable or not.

I lucked out here in Canada, nothing we received had a plug in it.

I've always thought it funny that a significant proportion of crime in Canada was perpetuated by citizens of Detroit.
At least now the cops (Mounties? ) can identify idiot American crooks by their blaze orange gun caps.
(can you send me some beer?)

Exactly.

If you look at the pictures on the BBTS product page (below), it shows the cap applied and alone. I'm not sure if they are just showing you exactly what the cap is or if they are hinting (silently) that it will be removable.

A common misperception is that Canada is patrolled my Mouties riding Horses all over the country. Not so. Here in Ontario we have few Mounties and tons o' straight up cops. One of my best friends is a cop to boot. No more speeding tickets for me.
And yes, I will bring you some beer. I'm bringing a case of cold shots to Botcon. For those who don't know what a cold shot is; it's a small, strong can of beer with a blatent target on the bottom for spiking it with a nail for shotguns. You know, I think I may have found away to enjoy your Attactix tourny.
