Solicitations have so far only been published through a flash based document on IDW's site, so while there aren't high resolution cover images just yet, we have been able to mirror the relevant pages below along with the solicitation text from the pages themselves.
OPTIMUS PRIME #1
Writer: John Barber
Artist: Kei Zama
REVOLUTION is over - but the danger to Earth is just beginning. As OPTIMUS PRIME pulls Earth into the larger universe, he's painted a target on Earth... and a new alien incursion begins when a corkscrew shaped craft drills into our world!
REVOLUTION #5 (OF 5)
Writer: Cullen Bunn & John Barber
Artist: Fico Ossio
LAST STAND IN AUTOBOT CITY! It's all come to this - TRANSFORMERS vs. ROM vs. MICRONAUTS vs. G.I. JOE vs. M.A.S.K. vs. the ultimate evil! The futures of Earth, Cybertron, and the Microverse will all be changed forever by the decisions made this day.
TRANSFORMERS: MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE: REVOLUTION #1
Writer: James Roberts & Nick Roche
Artist: Alex Milne
A DATE WITH DESTINY! After years of doing very little, Krok, Crankcase, Fulcrum, Spinister, and Misfire think they can wriggle out of anything - but not even they can avoid a heavily-promoted multi-franchise crossover. It's the Scavengers Versus Your Childhood in a story that exposes all other art for the sham it is.
TRANSFORMERS: TILL ALL ARE ONE #5
Writer: Mairghread Scott
Artist: Sare Pitre-Durocher
REVOLUTION is over - but the danger isn't! A wave of undead TITANS threatens CYBERTRON! STARSCREAM will need more than secret police to stop the oncoming horde, but our Fearless Leader finds himself short on friends and firepower. Who can be called upon - and why aren't they stepping up to the plate?

Though hell, there's a lot of things that never seemed to be handled well but then IDW done them good. Should be interesting, to say the least.

1986 - Was that a good vintage?

A good enough year, in hindsight. There was a movie, a halfway decent miniseries, even IF the main protagonist was kind of a loser. Although, the shuttle Challenger did explode, so that sucked.

Yeah, that did suck to say the least. Ever since we had a hint in Spotlight Wheelie that they might be coming we knew it would only be a matter of time. But they're coming to Earth? That's new.

If IDWs Transformers series was actually about shape shifting robots fighting a war they wouldn't have to create these high stakes storylines all the time. High stakes with very little payout in the end. It's going to end with more Transformers dying so the lazy writers have less characters to write about. If everyone else is scrap metal all the writers can have even more of an excuse to write about Swerve, Soundwave, Windblade and Arcee.

On the contrary, this is directly related. Were it sub-numbered MTMTE 58 no one would bat an eye.william-james88 wrote:Just making sure, Revolution More than Meets the Eye is not related to the More than Meets the Eye monthly book right?

Yes and no. Let me edit the news post.
MTMTE 56 and 57 are part of Titans Return, and feature Fort Max, Red Alert, Prowl.
MTMTE Revolution #1 is a sort of one-shot, with the Scavengers in focus. So not directly part of the wider story, but still set in same storyline, like previous Scavengers issues. Make sense?
EDIT: Also, what ScottyP said. It's as related as other not directly seemingly related Scavengers issues have been.

But is it also related to the overarching Revolution story? (if there is such a thing)
