"Hasbro Inc. (HAS.N: Quote, Profile, Research) , the No. 2 U.S. toymaker, on Monday posted a jump in quarterly earnings, but shares stumbled on disappointing sales of key items like Trivial Pursuit and Beyblades spinning tops and a shaky retail picture.

"Pawtucket, Rhode Island-based Hasbro, whose brands include PlaySkool and Transformers, posted net income of $6.5 million, or 3 cents a share, up from $1.2 million, or 1 cent a share, a year earlier."
