Botcon.com unveils a bunch of information about the upcoming
Unicron product which turns out to be a 16"+ statue from Hard Hero. I'll admit ... I was kind of bummed that it's not an actual Transformers figure, but at the same time, we still get the first official Unicron product released to the public after 16 years since Unicron first graced the Transformers Universe.

BOTCON website: "Due to circumstances beyond the organizers' control, BotCon 2002 has been pushed up by one week to July 26-28, 2002. For those who have already made room arrangements at the "BotCon rate," your reservations will automatically be rescheduled and rolled back one week to apply to the appropriate weekend.
