Oh my god, Optimus looks AMAZING!!! They did him justice.

If the feet were right on Bee, I would say they got him right too. That is about the only thing wrong with either one of them.

I'm liking the Optimus more then the Bumblebee. These are both pick ups for me. As long as they keep doing a good job with my favorite TF series I'll add them to my collection.

Also I'm glab they showed Primes. If there is one Prime that should always show his face it's this one.

So Uni stood for United rather than Universe as some theorised, an easy mistake to make.

Optimus looks the best one yet, we know what else will be in this wave don't we from leaks?

Not bad for Optimus, despite the shins molded details that are weird and the messy truck rear.

My word! I didn't see much of Animated, and only got Grimlock as a figure. Not sure why. But those two? I reckon I'll defo get that Optimus and probably the Bumblebee!

Prime looks pretty good, his legs look a bit messy with the cheap looking wheels but not minding what they have done with the forearms. vehicle mode going to 6 wheels intead of 4 might have been needed for rolling purposes. At voyager price he should have the faceplate gimmick though or interchangable heads.

Bee might look better with the rims of his feet painted black and shouldnt look too much like all the other non animated bees that have the bumpers on the feet pointing forwards.

Animated Optimus might be the best example and use of an uniform art style for this line. His proportions and detail look good while still resembling the character model.

On a personal note, his transformation seens based on the deluxe toy, so that is a win for me.

Bro, you got or are getting Commander Armada Prime, right?

I like these animated reveals even though I wasn't a fan of the show or aesthetic. One thing that kinda disappoints me is that Prime doesn't have the flip up face plate and his axe doesn't look like it opens for a double sided blade.

I like what I see with Optimus so far. The only drawback is that it looks like he won't have the flip-up face mask that the original Voyager had. On the plus side, the Legacy version of his axe looks much better than that weird flyswatter they had for the original Voyager...

Optimus looks pretty good. The lower legs are a little iffy but the upper body is spot on, love the axe and love the face sculpt. I wouldve like a mouthplate gimmick as I've always preferred Optimus that way but this one looks solid either way. Maybe there'll be a variant down the line with a mouthplate in a buzzworthy pack or something

That being said, I'm on the fence about this guy. Might get him and headcanon him as Orion Pax or something

On the fence about Bumblebee too. Looks great, but I might wanna wait on a Prime universe Bee down the line

This makes me excited for a tf animated Ratchet. That's hands down my favorite version of ratchet, which is why I don't currently own any ratchet figures. Prime universe ratchet is a close second though

Looks really good. Not feeling the stubby feet though.

Glad the spinny waist gimmick was done away with.

The lack of face mask is a bit of a downer though, and the stubby feet are less that great, but otherwise, he's a decent attempt.

Will go well with Bulkhead who I still sustain looks more like Animated than Prime.

Bee is fine. Might just pick him up.

That leaves Ratchet for a "complete" season 1 Autobot cast.

Will we get a Grimlock? Lockdown? Seeker?

Granted. His head is Prime, but the APC alt mode, is most definitely Gi-efied Animated.

In one of the designer Instagram posts, it was admitted that Legacy Bulkhead's altmode was instead inspired by AOE Hound, and that the Amazon Wreckers redeco was made to give the figure an even bigger resemblance to Hound. So they just straight up admitted that they chose not to base the new Bulkhead figure directly on either existing Bulkhead. >:oP

I don't know why people are so hooked up on Bumblebee's feet. It may not be toy accurate, but it is cartoon accurate which is clearly what their goal was. It does suffer from a lack of paint, but the details are there. ToyHax will come through for sure.

I know "better engineering" is the reason often sighted, which I can understandtoa degree, but with this....It just really stretches that logic, especially when I see a $25 USD price tag of something that shouldn't cost more than $15. I know it would probably be a nightmare for plan o grams, but the original TFs had many different price points and scales. Not just 3 or 4 and we just try to shove everything in-between upscale because there is nothing between a $10-12 core and a $25 deluxe currently.

We need a Generations Warrior Class like Cyberverse and Earthrise to sit between Core and Deluxe.
