TFSource.com now has the WST Dark Retribution Giftset in stock. Some of our members have already received theirs. This limited set features the five WST Dinobots in a black color scheme. Ten lucky recipients will receive a lucky draw set.

Description:
Limited to 500 pieces worldwide, the WST Dark Retribution Giftset includes all five Dinorobots in their sinister evil incarnation! In an alternate world the Dinorobots pillage and plunder all surroundings, seeking to eliminate all sense of life much as the Dinosaurs were mysteriously exterminated millions of years ago. Each includes chromed swords, die-cast parts, and comes in deluxe display packaging. Randomly inserted will be 10 lucky draw sets, in all translucent plastic and chrome, like the Crystal Henkei Convoy. Final colors and product may vary, other details to be revealed closer to the release date.

Additional pictures of the figures, box, decals, and artwork can be seen here

Glad I got mine. :D I think these will go for an insane amount once the supply runs out.

I love these little Dinobots so I have ordered a set.

They look fantastic. I have had mine on preorder since they were announced. I was worried about displaying them on my limited shelf space but they look beautiful in the box. Roll on Blaster, Wheeljack and Shockwave.

Eventually I will add some pics.

The box was mostly junk. It looks nice, but mine was a bit crushed, and the top was coming unglued.

But the real awesomeness is of course the toys, which are awesome!

I preordered mine from TFSource as soon as they posted it. But I had that order together with Alternity Convoy so it might take a while before I get my hands on them.

Seems like it could be about forever with how many delays Alternity Convoy is seeing.

I have the regular WST Dinobot set and like it a lot. But seriously, how many of these sets do we need? Does it really add anything to simply change the color? After black, red, and green editions, what is next? Pink? Purple? Orange? It is kinda getting ridiculous. Do we really need to rush out and buy something simply because it has a limited release and is somewhat exclusive? Go ahead and call me Mr. Buzzkill.

I'm suprised there's no mention of a poster.

I only have the regular WST Snarl, but even that came with a poster of the Dinobots fighting the Constructicons. (Folded several times in the tiny box, still trying to press out the creases.)

Add a big poster of the Dark Retribution Dinos in devious action and I'd be sold.

From what I remember, the cover/box art is the only new'dark retribution'.

The inserts were nothing new, and I believe a card was included with a B/W version of the dinos fighting the constructicons.

Indeed you are Mr. Buzzkill... These are DINOBOTS after all, and well they are black variants. You sir, need to get these, and if not, well, enjoy your collection as it has a gaping whole in it. And yes, I do believe a lot was added in the color change.

But you are talking to a guy who likes black, or chrome, or translucent variants.

Well between the galleries and this thread, I placed an order for the set.

I have never bought any of the WST Dinobots before, but the giftset price is lower than buying all 5 by themselves.

And black repaints are always cool.

You haven't seen them in person have you? The box is superb and the Dinobots look georgeous. Mine are staying MISB though as I have no display shelves available.

Got mine in the post today from TFsource. Had to pay stupid import tax on them but never mind. A really nice set. Not opened the box as I already have plenty of the other WST Dino babies so no real need to open them.

Why do things generally look so much better in black?!?

Both statements were true to me. Import tax sucks for non US buyers but they do look good in black.

Im not so bothered about the £6 import duty, its the £8 that Parcelforce charge for the pleasure of charging you the £6!! Money for doing nothing, a £1 or £2 charge wouldnt cause a problem but £8 seems way too much.

Apparently, I need to learn to read closer and to the end of the paragraph.

It says right there on the front page that all boxes were damaged and they did not receive any mint boxes-so mint box orders will be postponed.

Wait, you paid an extra £14 on tax? I only paid £11. I call shenanigans on Parcel Force.

Yeah sort of, £8 of it was Parcelforce's fee. The value declared on the parcel was $35. I wouldnt put it past them trying to rip people off or just stuffing up the charge.
