Actually, the Wonderfest Version has clear orange plastic where the regular one just has orange paint.

Without the packaging, that's cheating! I'd rather pay full price because of the packaging alone, which would be $80 to $100.

Dude, I'm not so sure about those out-of-package figures like this and that are also plastered on ebay. I find it really hard to believe that Hasbro would allow all these unpackaged figures to be carted out of their plants, even more insane would be believing these sellers *removed* them from their packages. There's no reason they would do this when a packaged figure fetches more.
A couple of hard copies or prototypes being taken from a factory or where ever I can believe, but truckloads of unreleased or rare figures such as this is another story. I think they are knock-offs, but if someone out there has a sensible and factual explanation, let's hear it.

Hasbro sold out to the lowest bidder , thats why these are made in china. Factory Security here or there is crap, i know that from working in a couple over the years, its very easy to take things you want. Why they dont take ones in package?? Its alot easier to take a loose figure then to walk out with a boxed figure and you fit more in a case loose then in package.. And its china dude, these guys know what these figures can fetch and its probably more then they make in there actual pay, so its very easy to see a few workers get together and take a few cases of loose figures to sell off market for themself. Im sure they are even working with guys to " Turn There Back" as they take the stuff and they just give them a cut of there profits.
If i lived there i would be doing it myself if i was getting paid crap wages, if i had the chance to snag a few cases of figures i could sell off for myself i would be all over it in a heartbeat.

Vietnam.
Currently they're being produced in Vietnam.
(hence the lack of leaked prototypes lately)
